NWA POWERRR TV REPORT

It’s time for NWA Power, our commentary team is Joe Galli and Danny Dealz.

Episode 136 - Blood Is Thicker Than Gold

We start with a video package to hype Thrillbilly Silas vs Devan Dixon in the main event.

The Country Gentlemen (A.J. Cazana and K.C. Cazana) vs the Slimeballz (Tommy Rant and Sage Chantz)

Sage and KC start off, and when they lock up, KC shoves Sage into the corner. They break clean and Sage yells not to touch him like that. KC tosses Sage to the corner and then works him over with drop kicks. AJ tags in and he hits a big hip toss. Rant tags in and they lock up with AJ getting a headlock and then a scoop slam.

Rant yells at the crowd and AJ hits him with another scoop slam, drops an elbow and covers for two. KC is tagged in, another scoop slam ishit and they both hit a big stomp. KC is whipped into the ropes and Sage kicks him in the back. KC shrugs it off, literally, and goes to pop Sage, who drops to the floor to avoid it.

Rant gets a big clothesline and covers for two. KC is whipped into the Slimeballz corner and they work him over with quick tags. KC hits a double clothesline on them and backs into his corner for AJ to tag in and run wild. KC leaps off the top, clotheslining Sage out of AJ’s grasp for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Country Gentlemen

Samantha Starr is with Kyle Davis, and she says she will only be referred to as Miss Starr. She says she is a third generation wrestler on both sides of her family. She says she needs someone to take care of menial errands she is too busy for. She brings out Chelsea, who Starr beat up the last time we saw her. She then tells Chelsea she has a championship match with Max the Impaler.

Max the Impaler (NWA Women’s TV Champion) w/James Mitchell vs Chelsea

Chelsea looks frightened before the bell. Max stalks Chelsea around the ring. Max finally grabs her in the ropes and the ref calls for the break. Max then grabs her by the head and looks her over and the ref calls for a break again. Max grabs Chelsea and makes her wave at the crowd. Max finally starts throwing forearms in the corner and beats her down. Max then sits on her until the ref break.

Max misses a charge and Chelsea back flips acr5oss the ring until Max shoves her away. Max hits a lariat for the pin and the win.

Winner and now having won 7 NWA TV Championship matches, earning a World Title Match: Max the Impaler

The New Spectaculars (Rush Freeman and Slade) w/Rolando Freeman vs The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum)

Rush and Truth start off by locking up and going to the corner for a quick break. Rush gets an arm drag. Truth gets a side headlock and a hip toss. Slade is tagged in and Turbo tags in. They lock up collar and elbow and Turbo gets a side headlock, and Slade is able to reverse it. Turbo shoots him off into the ropes and tries for a hip toss, but Slade puts on the brakes and gets a hip toss of his own. Rush is tagged in and they hit a double hip toss. 

Rush dances and Slade is uninterested in the dancing. Rush drops an elbow and Truth tags in and Rush grabs a side headlock. Rush is shot into the ropes and he drops both Turbo and Truth with punches. Rush grabs a side headlock on Turbo and Truth hits him with a bulldog. Truth is then tagged in and they work over Rush in their corner. Rush is able to kick the Outrunners off and leaps for the tag to Slade.

Slade runs wild and after Rush clotheslines Turbo to the floor, Slade hits a shoulder breaker slam on Truth for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Spectaculars 2.0

May Valentine is with Colby Corino and Pretty Empowered, and she says they will be facing Missa Kate and Ruthie Kate in a title match. She asks Colby about facing Joe Ocasio. Colby is then asked about Pretty Empowered’s match and he tells them good luck, and they are offended by this.

Joe Alonzo vs Rey Fury vs Luke Kurtis 

Kurtis starts the match in his robe, and Fury hits a flying leap onto both Kurtis and Alonzo. Kurtis takes the robe off and gets into the ring where Fury takes him out with flying moves. Alonzo attacks Fury from behind, and as he is setting up, he takes too much time so Fury is able to get a jawbreaker on him. Alonzo then gets a drop kick allowing Kurtis to cover while Alonzo preens to the crowd. Alonzo pulls him off at two.

They argue before attacking Fury in the corner. Fury is fighting the two of them, but Kurtis is able to cut him off with a power slam. He then drops a leg and Alonzo sneaks in for the cover as Kurtis preens to the crowd. They team up to whip Fury to the corner and whip each other into Fury in the corner. Fury is able to whip Kurtis in Alonzo while Alonzo is jawing at the crowd. 

Fury gets a neckbreaker on Alonzo and Alonzo rolls out of the ring. Fury hits a backdrop and then a HIGH unprettier. Fury hits a froggie bo for two, broken up by Alonzo. Fury gets an insigiri on Alonzo and while Alonzo tries to pull off Fury’s mask, Kurtis grabs a surprise roll up for two. They run the ropes and Alonzo gets a shotgun knee for two, broken up by Fury. Kurtis goes for a DDT on Fury, but Fury escapes out the back and whips Kurtis to the floor. 

Kurtis trips Fury and Alonzo comes off the ropes with a double axe handle on Fury. He then clotheslines Kurtis, who had made it to the apron. Alonzo hits a full nelson slam for the pin and the win.

Winner: Joe Alonzo

May Valentine is with Daisy Kill and Talosand they welcome her back with a song. 

It’s time for the main event.

Thrillbilly Silas Mason (NWA National Champion) vs Devan Dixon

They have built through the show that Dixon used to be Mason’s tag team partner, but Mason left him behind when he joined the NWA. 

They shake hands to start the match. They lock up collar and elbow and go tinto the ropes, coming off with Dixon having a side headlock. They come off the ropes into each other and neither has an advantage. They lock up, this time Mason gets the side headlock, and then comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle, knocking down Dixon. He drops the elbow and then hits a scoop slam. Dixon follows with a scoop slam on Mason.

Mason then drops Dixon with a left hand and short arm clothesline. Mason then mounts for the ground and pound and then lays in stomps. Dixon throws punches and he drops Dixon. Mason works him over in the corner. They go to the floor where Mason keeps up the attack. Dixon is rolled into the ring, and Mason snaps him backward over the top rope.

Mason gets a rear chinlock followed by a spinning back breaker. Mason hits a suplex. Mason charges into Dixon in the corner, but Dixon dodges and follows with a series of blows. He then snaps Mason’s throat over the top. Dixon gets a crossbody from the top for a one count. Mason is able to get the thrill ride for the pin and the win.

Winner and still NWA National Champion: Thrillbilly Silas Mason.

The rest of the Southern Six come to the ring and then beat Dixon down. EC3 and Jax Dane run to the ring to run them off. Dax and EC3 have a stare down, and then shake hands.
