11/29 NJPW WORLD TAG LEAGUE REPORT FROM SHIZUOKA, JAPAN

11/29/23 Results from New Japan's World Tag League 2023 From Shizuoka, Japan:

1 - Yuto Nakashima, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun vs. SHO, Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL

Bishop Kaun has his left shoulder taped up.    The tag tournament is taking their toll on these men.

SHO forces Nakashima to tap out to the Snake Bite

After the match, EVIL invites Gates of Agony into the ring.  EVIL offers them House of Torture T-shirts. Liona and Kaun put on the shirts and pose in the ring with House of Torture.  They all do the House of Torture salute in the ring.

Hopefully, Gates of Agony will get EVIL to buy them a good sushi dinner and beers, before they turn on them tomorrow.

2 - Kosei Fujita, Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls vs. Boltin Oleg, Ryohei Oiwa and Kaito Kiyomiya

Kiyomiya pins Fujita after a Shining Wizard.

3 - Callum Newman, HENARE and Great O-Khan vs. Taiji Ishimori, Gabe Kidd and Alex Coughlin

Coughlin pins Newman after a Jackhammer.

After the match, Kidd hit a piledriver on Newman and callled out Will Ospreay.   HENARE and O-Khan makes the save.

4 - Tiger Mask, Ryusuke Taguchi, Ren Narita and Shota Umino vs. Master Wato, YOH, Toru Yano and Tomohiro Ishii

Wato forces Tiger Mask to submit to Vendeval.

Ishii brawls with Narita and Umino after the match. 

World Tag League Matches:

5 - Zandokan Jr. and Yota Tsuji vs. Jack Bonza and Bad Luck Fale

Zandokan and Tsuji were about to hit Vamos Amigo, but Fale breaks it up.  Fale hits a Hand Grenade on Tsuji.  Bonza hits a backbreaker on Zandokan and Fale follows with a big elbow smash.

Bonza pins Zandokan.

Rogue Army gets their first 2 points.

Zandokan Jr. and Tsuji remain at 4 points.

6 - Minoru Suzuki and Yuji Nagata vs. El Phantasmo and Hikuleo

ELP pins Suzuki after hitting Sudden Death and a CR2.

Guerillas of Destiny earn 2 points with 4 points total.

Suzuki and Nagata remain at 0 points.

7 - Yuya Uemura and Taichi vs. Alex Zayne and Lance Archer

Archer hits a chokeslam on Uemura.   He then drops Zayne with a Black Out on Uemura.

Archer pins Uemura.

Monster Sauce earn 2 points and 8 points for the lead in B Block.

Just 5 Guys have 6 points and in second place with 6 points.

8 - YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto vs. Soberano Jr. and Atlantis Jr.

Both teams battle to a time limit draw.

Bishomon earn 1 point for a draw, with a total of 3 points.

Atlantis Jr. and Soberano Jr. earn 1 point for a draw and 5 points total.

Since neither team won, no team got to address the crowd in Shizuoka.
