The 2024 AEW Revolution PPV, featuring Sting's retirement match, will be held on Sunday 3/3/24 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
That venue is not only the site of the original Starrcade back in 1983 but also where the classic 45 minute Sting vs. Ric Flair bout was held in March 1988 as the main event of the first ever NWA Clash of Champions broadcast on TBS.
The promotion had been looking to hold the bout in the Mid-Atlantic area and they found the perfect venue historically.
