COMPLETE AEW COLLISION REPORT

It is Saturday and AEW Collision was recorded Friday night at the Peterson Event Center in PIttsburgh, PA.  Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone, and Nigel McGuinness. 

We have the opening interviews back with everyone in major matches laying out the reasons for their matches.

Daniel Garcia vs Claudio Castagnoli - Continental Classic Match

They start by running the ropes and Claudio grabs Garcia out of the air when he tries to leap over, hits a tilt a while back breaker and covers for two. Claudio slams Garicia and whips him to the corner. Garcia is able to get the boot up in the corner and gets a guillotine choke on Claudio, but Claudio just suplexes him to escape. Every time Garcia is down, Claudio gives him mocking kicks. Claudio works over Garica in the corner. 

Gari starts throwing elbows and Claudio drops him with an uppercut. They fight with Claudiuo on the apron and Garcia gets a rear chinlock and then knocks Claudio to the floor. Garcia dances and then goes after Claudio on the floor and beats Claudio down. He charges Claudio, who catches him and hits the giant swing into the barricade twice as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Garcia is throwing hands on Claudio and then runs the ropes. He leaps onto Claudio and gets another guillotine choke. He is able to switch to a rear naked choke and Claudio goes down to one knee. Claudio escapes by backing into the corner. Garcia gets a rollup for two and then gets an ankle lock. Claudio reverses to his back and kicks his way free. Garcia comes off the ropes into a lariat.

Claudio works over Garcia in the corner again and then clotheslines him down for two. Claudio is able to get the hammer and anvil elbows and follows with an attempt at a Ricola bomb, but Garcia escapes out the back and rolls up Garia for two. Claudio grabs a sharp shooter. Garcia is able to roll through for a two count. Garcia comes off the ropes and Claduio gets a pop up uppercut. Garcia doesn’t go down until Claudio hits a second uppercut and follows with the Ricola Bomb for the pin and the win.

Winner and getting 3 points: Claudio Castagnoli

Yuta comes to the ring to celebrate with Claudio.

Next is a promo from Eddie Kingston, who says he’s only doing the promo so he doesn’t get fined. He explains that this tournament is so important he has put his two titles on the line. He asks if the promo is good enough for the producers. 

Killswitch (who used to be Luchasaurus and has added a belt with his new name but no other gear changes) vs the already in the ring The Boys (Brent and Brandon Tate)

So that lasted about 90 seconds with Killswitch getting a quick pin.

Winner: Killswitch

Killswitch puts a pair of chairs in the ring and after the chair is set up, one Boy si choke slammed on the chair and then Killswitch grabs them both….

And Adam Copeland’s music hits, and he enters with a chair and beats down Killswitch with a chair. Adam then takes a piece of metal from one of the chairs and chokes Killswithc with it. He then nails Killswitch with a con-chairto,

Killlswitch starts to claw his way up after Adam celebrates with his music, and Adam nails him with a curb stomp on the chair. He then hits a second con-chairto. 

In the back, Lexi Nair is with Adam and he tells her to go. He then says all of what he’s been doing is all on Cage and it’s because of his insecurities. He says he doesn’t care about that and he said their friendship was more important than the business, but Cage has ruined it. When Cage threatened his children, that ended it, and now he has two heads on his wall. He says he is going to change Cage’s soul. He challenges him at Dynamite on 12/6 for the TNT title and he will take it because it is what Cage cares about.

The lights go out in the arena

Malakai Black and Buddy Murphy vs Komander and Gravity

Komander and Gravity start the match, and Buddy uses an armbar to put Gravity down, but he kips up twice. Gravity comes off the ropes into a shoulder tackle by Buddy. They run the ropes and Buddy stops Gravity with a knee stroke. Buddy tries for a suplex, but Gravity escapes out the back and then goes around the world on Buddy, into a German suplex. Buddy gets a big boot and tags in Black, and Gravity hits an insigiri on Buddy and Black comes in. Black is able to slam Gravity and then gets a series of strikes.

Komander gets a blick tag and Gravity tries for an attack and Black drops him with a blow. Komander follows with a hurricanrana, followed with a springboard from the second rope into a kick. Buddy distract Komander and Black gets a series of strikes and a German suplex for two ads we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, and Komander is abel to get a jawbreaker, but turns to the wrong corner, so Buddy is able to stop him from tagging out. Komander is able to escape out the back of a double suplex from Buddy and Black and gets the hot tag to Gravity, who runs wild. 

His flurry ends when Buddy catches him and rams him into a knee from Black. Komander tags in and gets his own flurry of offense ending with a two count after a gut buster. Komander goes to the top and he stops when he sees Buddy start toward him, allowing Black to recover and get a big kick. Buddy and Black go to suplex him, but Gravity pulls Black down and hits a jawbreaker on Black. Buddy is knocked to the outside and gravity dives into Black and Buddy’s hands. Gravity gets on the apron and kicks his way free, and Komander runs the ropes from one turnbuckle to the other and dives onto Buddy and Black.

They are rolled into the ring and Gravity and Komander come off the top into raised knees. Black and Buddy hit them with double knee lifts. Gravity takes a knee strike and Black sits down and waits for Kamonder to get up. Buddy gets a stomp to the back of Komander’s head and covers for the pin and the win.

Winners: Malaki Black and Buddy Matthews

Dairus Martin and Action Andretti start to cut a promo and are cut off by an NBA promo. They come back and we see that Dante has returned, and they are cut off by a Ferrero Roche ads. 

I am super glad Dante Martin is back and healed up.  Kind of bummed his return was marred by technical issues.

Julia Hart (TBS Champion) vs Lady Frost

House Rules is what they call it when someone gets to choose a title stipulation against a member of the House fo Black and Frost has chosen no countout.

They lock up collar and elbow and break clean. Frost slams Hart into the corner and Hart then grabs her as she comes out of the corner, grabs a hip toss and kicks Frost in the back. Frost pops up and shows it didn’t hurt. Frost gets a series of kicks  and blows and knocks Hart into the corner. Frost is whipped across the ring and flips over Hart. Hart drops to the floor and trips Frost on the apron. 

The fight moves to the floor and they brawl at ringside. Remember, no count outs. Hart sets up a chair and they fight around the chair. Frost is set in the chair and Hart kicks her out of it. They fight on the ramp and Hart gets a charging clothesline down the ramp. Hart rolls Frost into the ring for two. Frost gets strikes and kicks to knock Hart down. Hart is up and gets clotheslined down, and Hart pops right back up and drops her with a lariat. Hart grabs Hartless and Frost has to tap. 

Winner and still TBS Champion: Julia Hart

In the back, Don Callis and Powerhouse Hobbs are with Lexi and Don says he has a 17 IQ but he can’t figure out how Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega got a title shot. He says anyone can get got, and Hobbs will take them out. Hobbs says he’s be+ig, eb black, he’s jacked and anyone can get it. 

FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) 

Cash and Vincent start off and Vincent goes after Cash in the corner, beating him down. Cash is able to fight back and slams Vincent into the corner and Dax tags in. They double team Vincent and Dax covers for two. Dax whips him into the ropes and sets too soon, so Vincent gets a kick and a back elbow, and followed up by tagging in Dutch. Dutch gets a slam on Dax and Dtuch gets in an attack, but Dax tries to fight back. Dutch grabs a bear hu, and Dax bites him to get free. Dax clotheslines Dutch out of the ring and Vincent charges at him, and Dax gets a back body drop on him, where Dutch catches him on the floor as we go to picture in picture. 

When we return to full screen, Vincent has a rear chinlock on Dax. The ref checks Dax, and his arm drops twice and then revives and fights his way free. Vincent misses a pair of elbow drops and Dax is able to get a sunset flip. Vincent tags in Dutch and he drops onto Dax as Vincent holds his leg. Dutch hits a power bomb on Dax and then goes to the second turnbuckle and misses a senton. 

Cash is able to get the hot tag and runs wild. Vincent gets a blind tag as Dax is rolling him up and Dutch hits a sidewalk slam for two when he comes in. Vincent is tagged in and goes for the assisted sliced break, but Cash runs Vincent into Dutch and then drop kicks Dutch to the floor. Dax is tagged in and they hit the shatter machine on Vincent for the pin and the win.

Winners: FTR

The House of Black come to the ring and say no one is coming to save them, including no CM Punk. Malakai black says this place is not the brotherhood they think it is and the lights go out. They come back on and House of Black is gone.

We are then shown the return to Dante Martin without interruption.

We then see the attack on Chris Jericho after the PPV last weekend by Ricky Starks and Big Bill.

Ricky Starks and Big Bill come to the ring to talk to Tony Schiavone. Starks says he thought Jericho would put up more of a fight. Bill says that while Omega and Jericho call themselves the Golden Jets, but they are more like the Golden Girls. Bill talks about how despite hitting bottom, he knew he’d make it back to the top. He says they won’t just beat the Golden Jet’s they will embarrass them. He then says that Jericho and Omega aren't a legendary team and goes over great Basketball duos and say’s they aren’t as good as them. They are the guy who gives Michael Jordan his bubble gum.

We then get a video catching us up on the Continental Classic Matches on Dynamite Wednesday night. 

Keith Lee vs Lee Moriarty

Moriarty kicks Lee and Lee just looks confused. They trade kicks and Lee misses a leaping roundhouse kick.  Lee hits a pounce on Moriarty and we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Moriarty gets in a series of kicks and Lee shoves him down. Moriarty gets an arm bar on the standing Lee, and Lee powers him up with a curl. Moriarty has to give up the hold and Lee drops him with a clothesline. Moriarty tries to slam Lee’s head into a turnbuckle, and Lee resists. Lee shoves him down and Mariarty comes back with a big kick and then covers for two. 

Mariarty waits for Lee to get up and Lee blocks his kick. Lee shoves Moriarty to the apron and Moriarty hits a flying leap from the ropes. Lee shrugs it off and hits a power body slam for the pin and the win.

Winner: Keith Lee

In the back, Lexi asks what is next for Keith Lee. He says that while Lee Moriarty is good, but he’s no Keith Lee. He says he is tired of not being taken seriously, and he is here to take on Him, and he needs to know he is coming for him. So, who is “he”?

Our Main Event

Eddie Kingston vs Brody King in a Continental Classic match

The thing about the title Eddie has are in abeyance, and it’s not that he loses the titles with a loss, it’s that the winner of the tournament gets both titles. 

They start with chops and strikes in the middle of the ring. King then just beats Eddie down. King charges into Eddie in the corner and then hits a cannonball in the corner on Eddie. Eddie rolls out of the ring to the floor and takes until the count of 6 to get on the apron and King knocks him back onto the floor. King then goes out of the ring and attacks Eddie on the floor, just dominating him with chops and stomps. King charges at Eddie, and Eddie gets a drop toe hold into the steel steps on King.

The fight resumes after Eddie breaks the count and King hits a cross body into Eddie against the barricade. King rolls Eddie into the ring and then works him over in the ropes. King hits a scoop slam and follows with a senton as we go to picture in picture. 

When they return to full screen, King hits a super plex on Eddie. King then chops Eddie into the corner and when King tries to whip him across the ring, Ededie just collapses before getting to the corner. Eddie goes to the corner and gets his feet up as King charges. He hits a series of clotheslines on King and finally takes him down. They struggle to their feet and Eddie gets a clothesline on King in the corner. Eddie gets machinegun chops, but can’t get the exploder suplex on King. King hits a belly to back suplex and when King comes in to follow up, Eddie gets the backfist for two.

They both get up on the 8 count, and trade chops. King moves to elbows and Eddie gets an insigiri and a DDT for two. They both take time to get up and Eddie sets for a suplex but can’t get King up. He then tries for a power bomb, and King reverses for a back body drop. King calls for the end of the match. King charges in and Eddie is finally able to get an exploder, a half and half and then a side suplex for two. 

King gets a spike piledriver for two and Eddie gets a foot on the ropes. King hits a series of elbows and Eddie won’t fall down. Eddie ducks an elbow, and King gets Dante’s Inferno for the pin and the win.
