It is Saturday and this week, AEW Rampage is live in the Peterson Event Center in PIttsburgh, PA. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone, Kevin Kelly, and Nigel McGuinness.
Hook vs Rocky Romero
They lock up collar and elbow and move to waistlocks and to the mat where they break clean. Rocky gets an arm drag and they break again. They lock up again and Hook gets a hip toss and they move to trading arm bars. Rocky and Hook trade chops in the ropes. They run the ropes and Hook is able to get a gut wrench suplex.
They run the ropes and both drop from a simultaneous clothesline. Hook is up first and gets a German suplex. They move to fighting on the apron, Rocky gets a rising knee strike and a suplex on the apron. Rocky then hits a leaping double stomp from the apron to the floor as we go to picture in picture.
When they return to full screen, Ricky gets the forever clotheslines in the corner, and Hook stops him with an exploder suplex into the corner. Hook tosses Rocky with a judo throw and then lays in body blows in the corner. Hook hits a Northern Light suplex with a bridge for two. Rocky is able to get a double stomp off the top onto Hook, who was draped on the second rope, for two.
Rocky gets his Big Strike, an over the top DDT for two. Hook gets a leg trip and both men struggle to get to their feet. They trade kicks and Rocky tries for another Big Strike, but Hook blocks it with the Redrum, and Rocky has to tap out.
Winner: Hook
We get a video about the rivalry between Wheeler Yuta and Katsuyori Shibata for the Ring of Honor Pure title as the main event of Rampage.
Kris Statlander vs Diamante
They lock up and move to arm bars quickly and Kris ends it with an arm drag. They lock up and greco roman knuckle lock and Diamante takes Kris to the man and gets a series of one counts. Kris gets a side headlock takeover, and Diamante grabs a head scissors. Kris escapes and drop kicks Diamante. They run the ropes and Kris gets an easy shoulder tackle.
Diamante is able to get a tijeras. Diamante tries to charge into the corner, but Kris grabs her and gets a power slam. Mercedes Martinez comes onto the stage and Kris charges into Diamante in the corner and we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Martinex has made it to ringside. Kris is able to escape a straightjacket hold and charges at Diamante, and Diamante is able to get a big back body drop and a two count from it. Diamante keeps up the attack, but when she tries for a DDT, Kris turns it into a slam for two. They trade rolls ups for two counts and Kris gets a power slam for two.
Diamante gets a big DDT and follows with a reverse DDT for two. Diamante gets in a slap and a running charge into Kris, Diamante runs into a discus lariat from Kris and Kris gets the pin and the win.
Winner: Krsi Statlander
Martinez attacks as soon as the bell rings, and as she and Diamonte attack, Willow Nightingale comes to the ring for the save.
We then get a video about the match in the Continental Classic between Daniel Garcia and Claudio Castagnoli. Daniel says he is concerned that he is coming into the tournament off a losing record and he wants to prove he’s not a loser.
The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) vs the already in the ring Duke Davis and Danny Jones
Mike Bennett says they are there to celebrate no neck November. He says Roderick Strong isn’t here because last week, Action Andretti tried to kill him. He says he wants everyone to know to let his best friend know…and the crowd cuts him off.
Matt Taven says they will neck the halls next month, and next year will be Neck Strong. He then says MJF is the devil and they deserve the tag team championships he holds.
The bell then rings and they take out their opponents who get no offense. Taven wins with a frog splash and a pin.
Winners: The Kingdom

Katsuyori Shibata (Ring of Honor Pure Champion) vs Wheeler Yuta
This is a pure rules match.
The judges, if needed, are Jimmy Jacobs, Jerry Lynn and Christopher Daniels.
They lock up with a greco roman knuckle lock and then move to mat wrestling and neither gets an advantage. Yuta gets a wristlock and then traps the arm with his legs. Shibata escapes and grabs an arm bar. He moves to a side headlock and Yuta cannot whip him off into the ropes the first time, but he does the second. Shibata grabs the ropes to put on the brakes and then ties up Yuta’s legs. He puts Yuta in a bow and arrow and then switches it to a leg bar.
Shibata moves it to a bow and arrow again. Yuta escapes and covers for one. Shibata is able to get knee strikes and then a knee bar and Yuta has to use his first rope break.
Yuta goes to the eyes and then hits Shibata with a closed fist to the face and we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Shibata is ignoring chops from Yuta. He fires back and knocks Yuta into the corner where he lays in chops until Yuta is on the mat. Shibata then hits a drop kick in the corner. Shibata gets a snap suplex for two. They trade waist locks and Sh8ibata gets an ankle lock. Shibata stops him from getting to the rope and puts on an STF. Yuta gets to the rope for his second rope break.
Shibata grabs a sleeper hold and they go into the ropes. Shibata is on the floor and Yuta dives onto him. They battle on the outside as the ref counts. Shibata rolls Yuta into the ring. Shibata misses a kick and grabs a surprise rollup for two. We have a ref bump and Yuta hits a low blow and then drops Shibata on his head, picking up a seat belt pin and holds on for three.
