Welcome to my ongoing Survivor Series blog.  I love that the announcers were outside in the cold.  It gives it a “real sports” feel.  I also love WAR GAMES.  I am, happy that Cody gets to honor his father.  I am happy that Triple H gets to honor a mentor and someone he grew up loving.  Am I psyched?  As the tweet above shows, I could have taken tonight off if I wanted to.  I didn’t want to.

It’s time, so let’s bring it on!

One more thing, for years Vince tried to fix the conundrum that he caused himself with The Survivor Series.  It took HHH a few months to fix that.  What is more “ultimate survivor” than making it through War Games?  That was rhetorical.

The crowd is HOT.  Michael Cole and Corey Graves are your announcers.  Congrats on your son Corey but selfishly, I am glad you’re back.

The sirens are on and down comes the cage.  Cole is going over the rules.  Any fan worth his salt already know that so if you didn’t keep it to yourself.

We are opening with the Women’s War Game match.  The captain Bianca Belair is out first and her team has the advantage.  Becky came out last for her team.  She fist bumped Bianca and Shotzi.  She and Charlotte gave each other a nod of respect.

Cole is doing Cole things by reminding us that Kairi was gone due to what Bayley did to her.  Get it, there is strife on both sides.  Bayley is starting off against Becky.

Bayley dominated most of the way in the first five minutes, which makes sense since the faces have the advantage.  When Becky came back, Dakota nailed Becky with a cane through the cage.  They are furthering the story that Kai may be working a coup.  

Shotzi came out first for her team and this will shock you, after blasting Bayley she there a tone of plunder in the ring.

Shotzi was in control of Bayley but when she crashed and burned, Becky came back just before she got help.  Graves said that Bayley is under-appreciated.  He’s right.

With Bayley in trouble, Iyo is out next and she came in with chains.  It’s getting ugly early!  Heels in control.

I am so happy that Stephanie Levesque is there.  She did so much for women’s wrestling.  Also glad that Vince isn’t there.  Wherever his pasture is, I am glad that he isn’it.

With her partners in trouble, here comes the captain.  She is beating the heels with her braids. The fans are chanting EST!

Bianca is an athletic freak, totally.  

The faces got control when the timer got to 15 seconds.  The fans are loving it.  Here comes the Pirate.  Kairi has some plumber on her mind too.  Trashcan lid.  Fans booed, they wanted a table.  She is a way different character than the Pirate, which is a good thing.  The story so far is that the heels are doing a good job of fighting off the advantage and gaining control when the sides are even because they are an actual team, or at least more than the other side.

Here comes Charlotte, who ran to the ring to show she is there for her teammates.  She came in and kicked ass, well until Bayley and Kairi attacked her.  The fans in Chicago want tables.  They don’t seem to understand the match rules.

The women had the advantage when Charlotte and Becky made the mistake of facing off.  Heels attacked…and Asuka is looming.

Iyo just had Dakota put a trash came from the floor and she stood on top of the cage with a trashcan on her body and wiped out everyone.  Out came Asuka and now it’s time for WAR GAMES!  Heels are in control. The fans are loving this and I am too.

Charlotte just hit a moonsault off of the top of the cage but it only got a two count.  

Becky and Charlotte are working together to do damage now.  They faced off and hugged each other.  The war is over!

This is sooo good!  Bianca just nailed Asuka with mist from the fire extinguisher.  So much is going on,.  Thanks Rich for doing the PBP.  Charlotte went to spear Kairi but Bayley took it for her.  Then Bianca hit the KOD on her.  Becky then did a manhandle from the second rope through a table (you got your table fans) and the faces won.

Pretty Deadly faces off with Otis over chips.  R Truth was there.  He got a huge pop. He wants us all to come together and watch Tozawa do the Ruffle Shuffle.  Pepsi paid good money for that.

The Rumble is January 27.

Sami was in the back.  Jey came up.  Randy is still not here.  Jey is like WTF.  The fans are chanting CM Punk.  Could it be?  Sami reminded Jey we went to war last year we will do it again this year.  Jey’s gonna holler at Cody.

Gunter defends the IC Title vs. Miz is next.
