WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WE ARE AT DEFCON 2 FOR WAR GAMES, A CHANGE IN AN ANNOUNCED MATCH, A TAG TEAM ENDS?, TAG TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

Your announcers are Michael Cole, Kevn Patrick, and Corey Graves.

We start off with a look at what happened last week when the Women's War Games match was finalized.

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, and Bianca Belair make their way to the ring.

We are told that the team who earns the advantage through the online poll will be revealed on the Kickoff Show.

Becky starts off and says that she is back on Smackdown.  She says a lot of people have wondered why she agreed to team with who she is teaming with, but the chance to slap the head off Damage CTRL, the answer is always a yes.  What better place to do it than in Chicago at War Games.

Bianca says now that they have four members and a solid team, it is time to get back to where they need to be.  She says Damage CTRL has been in control for a while, but at War Games, with two rings, one cage, no DQ, and weapons, they will go as low as Damage CTRL will go.

Shotzi cackles and says that she cannot wait to get her hands on them.  They held her down and cut her hair.  They thought they broke her, but she is now uncontrollable and she cannot wait to unleash her frenzy on them.

Charlotte agrees with what Shotzi says and then she woooos.  Charlotte says War Games is a new beginning for them, but the end of Damage CTRL.

You mention them enough and Damage CTRL's music plays and Bayley comes out.

She says she never thought she was see the day when Becky and Charlotte were standing side by side.  Bayley says she has known them for more than ten years.  Bayley says Charlotte always had to say something about Becky and she never told Becky.  Bayley says Becky said stuff about Charlotte, but Bayley never told Charlotte.  She tells Bianca to be careful of her partners.  Bayley mentions two egos fighting to be on top.

Bayley says being a mom has made Becky soft.  You are okay with being picked last. You were a last resort.  You are used to being picked last in school.   War Games is the most dangerous match and you need a team with a cohesive unit.

Charlotte asks where is Bayley's team.  Are they with Asuka?

Becky says she didn't come to Chicago to talk.  She came looking for a fight.  Becky suggests any two of your dopey team take on the two of them in the main event.

Bayley says that is exactly what she wanted.  She calls Becky a big idiot.  She says she thought they would have to wait until tomorrow for their team to implode, but it will happen tonight.

We take a look at how Randy Orton joined War Games.

We are back and Bayley shows up with the rest of KaiEnFive to see who wants to face Charlotte and Becky tonight.

Dakota says they appreciate what she is doing.  She says Iyo says that Bayley should be in the match, with Asuka.

Asuka says no one is ready for them.

Match Number One:  Finn Balor and Damian Priest (with Rhea Ripley) versus Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford for the WWE Men's Tag Team Championship

Dawkins and Priest start things off and Priest with a kick and forearm.  Priest with a leaping back elbow and he bows in front of Ford.  Finn tags in and he punches Dawkins in the midsection.  Dawkins with a punch and Ford tags in.  Ford with a drop kick and Ford bows to Priest.  Dawkins tags in and they hit a double flap jack for a near fall.  Ford runs into a boot from Balor and Priest tags in. 

We see Bobby Lashley with BEVERAGE in BACK watching MONITOR and B-Fab joins him.

Ford with a kick and he clotheslines Priest over the top rope to the floor.  Finn has a kick blocked and he is sent to the floor.  Ford with a pescado onto Finn.  Priest with a POUNCE that sends Ford over the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ford punches Priest and Priest with a rolling elbow.  Priest with a jumping kick and Ford falls to the mat and goes into the corner.  Priest misses a leaping elbow into the corner and hits the ring post.  Finn tags in and hits an elbow to the back of the head.  Ford lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and Dawkins tags in and connects with a clothesline to Finn and he punches Priest off the apron.  Dawkins with a forearm and a flying back elbow.  Dawkins with a twisting splash into the corner.  Dawkins with a twisting butterfly neck breaker.  Ford goes up top and hits a blockbuster while Dawkins hits the Electric Chair drop.  Ford gets a near fall.  Ford kicks Balor from the apron and he goes up top and leaps over Finn and rolls through.  Finn with sling blade and a back breaker.  Priest with a leg drop and Priest gets a near fall.  Dawkins sends Finn to the floor.

Priest with a forearm and he sets for South of Heaven on Ford but Ford escapes.  Ford and Dawkins hit Revelation but Finn breaks it up.  Dawkins misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post.  Ford with a super kick and he goes up top.  Rhea gets on the apron and distracts the referee long enough to allow Balor to kick Ford.   Priest hits a tombstone slam and Finn with Coup de Grace for the three count.

Winners:  Damian Priest and Finn Balor (retain championship)

After the match, Rhea taunts Ford.

We see Becky, Shotzi, and Bianca.  Charlotte shows up and says that she talked to Pearce and Nick about the tag match.  

Becky and Charlotte argue over who is in charge of the group.  

Charlotte says Bayley had a plan and she wanted a plan of her own.  She says she thought they were doing a favor.

Becky says if Charlotte doesn't trust her, why did she call.

Bianca says that she told Charlotte to make the call.

Becky says she came here to fight, not socialize, so she is getting ready for a fight.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Dragon Lee video package.  He says as long as he can remember lucha libre has been a part of his family.  He says he started training at 12.  He says there is an expectation with lineage that good enough is not good enough.  You need to be strong inside to be a success.  He says failure was not an option and he never stayed down.  He says he stands in front of you as the blood runs through his veins and he honors his family.  He says he is the future of lucha libre.  He says that he is Dragon Lee.

It is time for the Grayson Waller Effect with Grayson Waller, starring Grayson Waller.

Waller welcomes everyone to this week's show.  He says his guest has not been getting along with him recently but he thinks this could be the start of a beautiful relationship.  He brings out Kevin Owens and his music plays. 

It is Austin Theory in a Kevin Owens shirt and shorts.  

Waller and Theory laugh and Waller says that Kevin is looking a little ghastly.

Kevin's music plays again and the real Kevin Owens plays.  Corey points out Kevin's suspension and Cole says he was.

Kevin asks what is going on while Waller asks why is he here.

Kevin says he was invited to be on the show and that is why he is here.

Waller brings up the suspension and Kevin says his suspension ended tonight.  

Kevin says that he figured they could air things out and share some food in catering.

Waller says he was here to make fun of Kevin.

Kevin asks if Theory went through his bag to get those shorts.  Kevin says he should punch Theory and Waller.

Waller points out there are two of them and there is one of you.  Waller says without Kevin's interference he would have beaten Knight ten times out times.

Kevin says that you know what happens when you say someone's name too many times.

Waller is confused and Theory mentions LA Knight and . . . 

LA Knight's music plays.

Knight says he wants to talk to ya.  Knight says you stepped in it.  He says Kevin tried to warn you but you couldn't help yourself and thought you could talk trash about Kevin.  Knight says he figured he would let Kevin punch both of you, but then you started talking about him and didn't stop.  Knight says if you are going to talk about him, then you got caught again.  You talk about every excuse why you couldn't beat him.  It didn't make a difference if Kevin was there or your buddy was there.  Every single minute of every single day you losing to Knight is a fact of life.

Waller and Kevin argue.

Waller says they should punch Knight and Owens.

Kevin asks Knight if they want to punch them and they do it.

The props are thrown all over the place.

We go to commercial.

We take a look back at Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and Paul Heyman on last week's Smackdown with LA Knight.

Match Number Two:  Kevin Owens and LA Knight versus Grayson Waller and Austin Theory

The match is joined in progress and Waller tags in.  Waller wants Knight to tag in.  Owens chops Waller and hits a shoulder tackle.  Knight tags in and punches Waller.  Knight with shoulders int he corner.  Knight with a hard Irish whip and a suplex.  Knight with an arm bar and Waller with a reversal and punch.  Theory pulls down the ropes and Knight eventually goes to the floor.  Waller slides to the floor and misses a clothesline.  Knight clotheslines Waller and then sends Theory's head into the announce table.  Knight does double duty on Waller and Theory.  Knight with an elbow to Waller.  Knight punches Theory and that allows Waller to slide to the floor and clothesline Knight.

We go to commercial.
