MLW FUSION REPORT: BOMAYE VERSUS WTF, AND MORE

Your announcers are Joe Dombrowski and Matt Striker.

We begin with a look back at highlights from Fightland.

Alex Hammerstone says for two years, he was the gold standard in MLW. Everyone wants to know why did he air his dirty laundry about the contract. He says he has no regrets but Court stopped taking his calls. Mister Saint Laurent got involved and now everyone is waiting to see what he does next. Wait and see.

Match Number One: TJ Crawford versus Nolo Kitano

TJ attacks Nolo before the bell rings. TJ kicks Nolo and poses on the turnbuckles. TJ with another kick. TJ chokes Nolo in the ropes. TJ with a punch and Iirhs whip. Nolo floats over and is sent to the apron. Nolo with a punch and kick from the apron. Nolo goes for a springboard move but TJ catches Nolo. Nolo counters into a head scissors take down. The referee checks on TJ’s eye and a masked man comes to ringside and Nolo punches him. The masked man is escorted to the back.

TJ with a running knee to the head and follows with forearms to the back and a kick to the back. TJ kicks Nolo. Nolo with punches and strikes. Nolo with a forearm and Nolo is sent to the apron. Nolo blocks a kick but TJ with a rolling elbow and running facebuster. TJ kicks Nolo in the head. TJ chokes Nolo and the referee warns him. TJ blocks a knee and TJ with punches. TJ with an Irish whip and Nolo floats over and drop kicks TJ into the turnbuckles. Nolo with an Irish whip and running knees into the corner. Nolo with a back breaker and spinning heel kick to the shoulder. TJ holds on to the ropes to stop NOlo’s offense.

The referee deals with TJ hugging the ropes instead of wrestling while Griffin McCoy comes to the ring and hits a half and half suplex on Nolo. TJ with a spinning back heel kick for the three count.

Winner: TJ Crawford

After the match, a hooded man joins TJ and Griffin at ringside to celebrate the victory.

We go to comments from Mascara Dorada.

He tells Rocky that he beat him again but he did it in the US and in MLW. He sys that Rocky has denied him his title shot in CMLL. He says he wants a shot at the CMLL and MLW titles. He challenges Rocky to a match at One Shot.

We go to Mister Saint Laurent.

MSL wishes a Happy Thanksgiving to the MLW fans who are transitioning into the WTF Universe. He says in two weeks, Matt Cardona will win the MLW title and bring sports entertainment into the future. He says the path towards greatness continues tonight as WTF faces BOMAYE tonight. MSL wants people to join the movement and wear tuxedos at ringside, like the glory days.

We go to thje back where Ichiban is being attacked by Jesus Rodriguez, Rocky Romero, and Janai Kai.

They hold Ichiban and Salina de la Renta shows up and says that she told him not to interrupt him. She slaps him.

We go to commercial.

We are back with The Calling.

Rickey Shane Page says we all make mistakes when we are young and we pay for them when we are old.

Match Number Two: Notorious Mimi versus Tiara James

They lock up and Mimi with a knee and side head lock. Mimi with a shoulder tackle and James with a hip toss. Mimi with an Irish whip but Tiara with a kick and missile drop kick for a near fall. Mimi with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Mimi drops James’ arm on the top rope . Mimi with an arm bart and kick to the arm. Mimi with a knee drop to the arm and ribs. Mimi with an Irish whip and chop in the corner.

Mimi with another chop. Mimi misses a chop but Mimi sends James into the turnbuckles. Mimi with a Yakuza kick and she goes up top and misses a cross body. James with clotheslines and an Irish whip. James with a shoulder into the corner and a gutbuster over the shoulder for a near fall. Mimi with a jaw breaker and James with elbows and an X Factor for the three count.

Winner: Tiara James

After the match, Sam Leterna interviews Tiara and she asks her about her quick rise up the rankings.

Tiara says she feels amazing and this has been a breakout year. She says she is looking for a title shot.

We take a look at Love Doug and B3CCA’s ‘relationship’.

We go to MSL being ambushed as he comes out of his vehicle. He is asked about tampering with a Hammerstone’s contract. MSL says that is slanderous and libelous to make those accusations since he is a legitimate promoter. He says Hammerstone was a free agent. They are expanding and he is in acquisition mode. Hammerstone is the first of many acquisitions.

We go to commercial.

We are back with MSL on the phone and he talks about building the social media numbers and to use the bots in Malaysia since they are cheaper.
Manders shows up and MSL has a hot dog and a handshake for him.

Manders says he isn’t a hot dog and handshake guy.

MSL says he will give Manders what he wants because he is a champion. He says he can make Manders a star. He says he can get him women in Japan.

Manders gives MSL his beer and he says he ain’t a hot dog and handshake guy.

It is time to take a look at One Shot.

Matt Cardona faces Alex Kane for the MLW title. Tom Lawlor faces Satoshi Kojima. Janai Kai defends the Women’s title against Maki Itoh. Miyu Yamashita defends the Princess of Princess title against Delmi Exo.

Salina de la Renta is with Rocky Romero and she says that Dorada has to be an idiot. What kind of man wants to voluntarily face Rocky and he already has a title.

Rocky says he will put both titles up against Dorada and he will suffer the same fate that Ichiban did.

The match is now official for One Shot.

Sam Leterna is with Alex Kane.

Alex says he has been waiting a month to get his hands on the hos. You put boots to Thomas and that will not go unchecked. Alex says you are about to see revenge. He says it is suplex season. Alex ends with a series of BOMAYEs.

We go to Love Doug as he prepares for his date with B3CCA.

He enters the room and she is not there. Instead, it is B3CCA’s boyfriend Brett Ryan Gosselin.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the end of the Loser Leaves MLW match from Fightland.

We go to Mance Warner with Manders.

Manders says this is bulls***. Mance says this is his last beer in MLW. You saw what happened. They helped build this company with blood, sweat, and tears. We did whatever we did. Mance says they don’t need him now. Mance says they got the gold and he was looking forward to Freebird Rules, but that isn’t happening. Cardona will get what he has coming.

Mance says he knows a guy. He mentions Masked Good Brother #3. The guy got fired and he loves to drink so he figures Manders will get along with him.

Mance says he isn’t going to cry. He says he signed up for it and he has to deal with it.

MSL makes his way to the ring and he says the WTF is taking over MLW. He calls Philadelphia a third rate s*** hole. He tells the people to show respect to Tom Lawlor and Matt Cardona.

Match Number Three: Tom Lawlor and Matt Cardona (with Mister Saint Laurent) versus Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas

Matt and Kane start things off. Matt tags Tom in before anything happens. They lock up and Alex pushes Tom into the ropes. They lock up and Tom with kicks to the leg and a side head lock. Tom holds on when Alex tries to Irish whip him. Tom with a chop and forearms. Alex with forearms. Tom with a European uppercut and cravate followed by knees to the head. Tom runs into a rolling elbow and an exploder. Tom rolls to the apron. Matt distracts Alex and he runs Alex into the turnbuckles. Tom distracs the referee and Matt hits Kane in the back. Tom with kicks and he tags in Matt.

Kane with a double leg take down and punches. Alex with a German suplex and he holds on for a second one. He gives one to Tom and then Alex with an X Plex to Matt. The referee checks on Kane. Thomas checks on Kane and the referee calls for assistance to take him to the back.

Matt hits Thomas from behind and he regrets what he did. Thomas with forearms and chops. Matt with a kick but Thomas with a clothesline. We see Kane needing help to get to the back. Matt clips Thomas as we go to commercial.

We are back and Tom kicks Thomas in the corner and he hits a running kick into the corner. Tom spins around and the outer shorts fall off. Tom with a cocky cover and pose. Tom with kicks while Thomas connects with forearms. Tom puts Thomas’ leg in the ropes and Tom with a drop kick to the injured leg. Matt tags in and he connects with forearms. Matt with an arm bar and Tom tags in and he punches Thomas. Matt with a forearm to the back. Tom with a forearm to Thomas. Tom with a Jericho cover for a near fall.

Matt tags in and he connects with a forearm but Thomas fires back. Matt with a kick for a near fall. Matt and Tom set for a double suplex but Thomas blocks it and he hits a double suplex.

Kane makes his way back to the ring despite the referee’s asking him to stay in the back. Kane with splashes to Tom and Matt. Kane with an exploder to Tom and then to Matt. Kane’s back gives out again and he rolls to the floor. Tom hits Kane in the back with a chair. Matt hits Radio Silence for the three count.

Winners: Matt Cardona and Tom Lawlor
