At tonight's Ring of Honor TV tapings in Chicago,Chris Daniels & Matt Sydal defeated Griff Garrison & Cole Karter via referee's stoppable when Sydal nailed a twisting splash on Karter and landed on his face, smashing the back of his head into the canvas, apparently suffering a concussion.
Daniels and the referee, Paul Turner, realized something was wrong and called for the ringside doc. Doc Sampson, the same doctor who saved Jerry Lawler's life years ago while with WWE, hit the ring and looked over Karter. They called for the bell to end the match.
Karter took a long time to get out of the ring but finally walked out. Daniels took the mic and put over Karter. He said it was a dangerous sport and while they wanted to win, they didn't want to win that way.
