It is Wednesday and this week Dynamite is at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL. The commentary team is Tony Schiavone, Taz, and Excalibur.
We start with the rules around the Continental Classic tournament.
Swerve Strickland vs Jay Lethal
They start with hand fighting and then move to running the ropes where Lethal gets a shoulder tackle on Swerve. They lock up collar and eblow and go to the corner where Swerve is able to pop out of the corner for a tejaris while on his back, tossing Lethal to the outside. They fight on the apron and Lethal gets an arm drag over the top rope and then Lethal leaps onto Swerve on the floor.
Swerve is rolled into the ring and they struggle for control and Lethal gets a short arm clothesline. They run the ropes and Swerve gets a drop kick into Lethal’s leg. Swerve gets a strike on Lethal leg in the corner. Swerve traps the knee with his legs and then moves to a side headlock. They run the ropes and Lethal jerks the injured arm of Swerve.
Lethal gets elbows to Swerve’s injured shoulder, and Swerve keeps working on Lethal’s leg he went after early. Swerve gets a German suplex and then Lethal gets a shoulder breaker as we move to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Swerve and Lethal fight on the top turnbuckle and Swerve gets the super plex from the top. Swerve powers up and goes after Lethal with kicks, strikes, a snap mare and a flatliner. He moves to a brain buster for two. Swerve starts for a figure four, but Lethal gets a small package for two. Lethal gets a reverse suplex and drops Swerve on his face. Lethal then gets a flying elbow for two.
Lethal gets a hip toss into a drop kick, but Swerve avoids the drop kick and grabs a leg bar. Lethal gets to the ropes to break it and then Lethal rolls him up for two. Lethal gets a read chinlock, and Serve rolls over for a one count, and Lethal gets a pump kick. Lethal tries for the lethal injection, Swerve gets a drop kick to counter it, then hits the House Call and follows with a Swerve Stomp from the top for the pin and the win.

Really good to see Lethal in a match that isn’t full of shenanigans.
Renee Paquette is with Orange Cassidy, Hook and Shibata, and before he can say anything, Wheeler Yuta, and he tells Shibata to watch his pure rules match on Ring of Honor and he will be taking his Pure Rules championship back. Cassidy says he had an announcement and Renee says they are out of time.
MJF is on his way to the ring with Adam Cole.
MJF has a cane and Cole is on crutches, and when they get to the ring, Cole has to sit in a steel chair.
That’s right, a steel chair is used for sitting in a wrestling ring.
He says he beat Jay White with one leg, and he says that White is one of the best wrestlers in the world, but no one is on the level of the Devil. He puts himself over. Cole then says it’s story time. Cole says his ankle is nowhere near ready for him to come back, but he will work every day to do so.
He then says he wants to be next to MJF every day, because so many people are out for him. MJF says he will find the Devil and send him to hell.
The lights go out and we get to see the Devil Laughing.
Then, Samoa Joe’s music starts. Joe says it is a big celebration week for his double victories. He then reminds MJF he gets a rematch, and he is here to make sure MJF honors his deal. MJF says he has a response to the deal, but we don’t hear what MJF says because it’s bleeped, but Joe is not happy about it and grabs him. Cole says the OLD MJF would have done that, but he tells MJF that the people love him because when MJF says something will happen, it happens.
MJF then says Joe wouldn’t be the first Ring of Honor he’s beaten twice, so they should do it right here, right now. Joe says no, and it’s because MJF will say he wasn’t 100 %. He wants the fully healed MJF and by World’s End he should be fully healed to defend the title.
MJF asks if Joe wants to face him in the most magical place in the world, Long Island. Joe says yes and MJF says yes. Joe says that the World title is his property, and he will have MJF’s back until he beats MJF for the title at World’s End.
Orange Cassidy, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata vs The Already In The Ring Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, and Jake Hager
Cassidy has a Thanksgiving surprise.
It’s Danhausen Time!
As Danhausen comes out, Menard attacks Hook. Hook is able to get hip tosses on Menard and Parker, but Hager is able to pull Shibata and Cassidy off the apron. Hager’s team then works over Hook with quick tags as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Hook gets an exploder suplex. Menard is able to tag in Parker who tries to cut Hook hook, but Hook gets a T Bone suplex on Parker and tags in Cassidy, who cleans house. Hager cuts off Cassidy with a Hager with a massive clam. Cassidy gets Stundog millionaire and Shibata tags in. Hager and Shibata throw hands, Shibata survives two big boots and gets one of his own. He dodges a splash from Hager in the corner then beats him down. Shibata gets a running drop kick on Hager in the corner.
Parker and Menard cut Shibata off and they try to triple team him. Danhausen gets on the apron with Hagen’s old purple hat. Hager chases him, and Danhausen curses Hager. Cassidy dives onto Hager. Cassidy then rolls across the ring with Menard and Parker following him. Hook and Shibata get sleepers on Menard and Parker. Cassidy gets an Orange Punch on Hager to stop him from interfering and Menard and Parker both tap out.
Winners: Orange Cassidy, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata
In the back, Renee is with Adam Cole. Cole says he is ready to get back to physical therapy. Roderick Strong and the Kingdom show, and he asked Cole why he wasn’t there when Andretti dropped him on his head. Cole blows up at him and asks him to back off and leave him alone.
Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne come to the ring. He says the match at Full Gear didn’t go their way, and he says he did not lose that match. He says Nick Wayne did not lose that match. Luchasaurus, however, lost that match.
He says it is unacceptable, and he needs to get rid of the stench of losing. He then says because they are both his children, he needs to recreate them in his image. He tells Luchasaurus to take a knee. Luchasaurus refuses to until Cage calls him a moron and orders him to take a knee. He says Luchasaurus ‘s name is associated with being a loser, so his name is now Killswitch.
He says Nick Wayne's name, and Nick takes a knee. Cage tells him to get up and never get on his knees for another person. Nick’s new name is The Prodigy Nick Wayne.
A shame he didn’t name him Hick Cage.
Nick’s mom shows and pleads with him in the ring. Cage says she is a terrible mother, and she couldn’t provide for him. He says he can give Nick the world and she can’t give him anything. And it’s good Nick’s dad is dead, because he could never been the wrestler or man that he is. She tells her to get out fo the ring and start her shift at Denny’s.
Killswitch steps between Cage and Nick’s mom and Cage tells him to get back on his knees, and Killswitch ignores him. Cage slaps him and the crowd chants Luchasaurus. Cage yells at him to back down. Cage shoves Killswitch into Nick’s mom.
Nick goes under the ring and grabs a steel chair.
He slides it into the ring. He then grabs another chair and slides it into the ring. Cage sets up for the Con-Chairto and then gives the chair to Killswitch and tells him to do it now. He struggles and when he raises the chair, Adam Copeland’s music hits. Adam spears Nick, kicks Killswitch and goes face to face with Cage.
Killswitch pulls Cge out of the ring but Adam still is able to spear Nick and follows with an impaler. Adam then sets up for the con-chairto on Nick and nails him.
In the back, Renee is with Anna Jay, Menard, Parker and Hager, and Menard is losing his mind. Hager is upset that Danhuasen has his hat. Anna stop them and says she is sick of the infighting and losing, so tonight she will help herself and hurt someone.
Rush vs Jay White - Continental Classic Match.
The Gunns come to the ring and are upset that they have to leave, but leave they do.
They lock up and Rush forces them into the corner and White goes to the floor. White returns to the ring and white tries a shoulder tackle twice and Rush doesn’t budge. Rush is able to drop kick White and then stomps a mudhole in him. Rush then whips White into corners with splash follow up. White nails from the ring again and Rush follows him and chops him down on the floor.
Rush then runs White into the barricades on all four sides of the ring. Rush pulls out a rope from under the ring and the ref threatens to disqualify him. They return to the ring and fight in the corner and Rush’s chops do more damage. White fights back with kicks and chops and Rush reverses and chops White down and then stomps on him and follows with a kick to the face. Rush gets the tranquilo pose and we go to picture in picture.
When they return to full screen, White is able to suplex Rush into the corner and then covers for two. White lays in chops and they run the ropes and Rush dives into White. Rush then hits the three amigos, but Rush is able to escape out the back. Rush then pops him in the face and hits a brain buster for two.
Rush goes to the top and tries for a senton, but White dodges. White hits a brain buster for two. White then mocks Rush’s Bull;’s Horns and stomps down Rush in the corner. Rush grabs his throat and they trade chops, then forearms and White gauges the eyes. Ru8sh hits a rising knee strike, but White gets a uri nage for two.
White sets for Blade Runner and Rush escapes and they trade blows. Rush hits a release German suplex and White follows with a dragon screw. White lays in chops. Rush is able to get an over and under throw into the turnbuckles. Rush gets a running elbow strike and then calls for the Bull’s Horns. White is able to get up and tries for a Blade Runner, and Rush pushes him off into the red. White gets a mule kick low blow when the ref is untangling them. White gets a Blade Runner for the pin and the win.

We are shown tape that Big Bill and Ricky Starks attacked Chris Jericho after the media scrum on Saturday night.
RJ City and Renee Paqueet are on the stage to present the Women’s World Championship, and they do so like it is an award ceremony, complete with opening an envelope.
Timeless Toni Storm is on her way to the stage from the crowd with Luther the Butler. Mariah May presents her with the title belt. Toni says she didn’t have anything prepared and then pulls out a script. After her first few thank yous, the band starts to play her off, but she stops them. She then says “Cue the Standing Ovation, and the big screen flashes it for the crowd.
We then go back to being in color and Skye Blue walks right past Toni on her way to the ring.
Skye Blue vs Anna Jay w/Matt Menard and Angleo Parker vs Ruby Soho w/Saraya
All three women are fighting with each other, and every time she sees Parker, Soho stops and they make eyes at each other. We get a long sequence where Blue is dominating Jay, and then Ruby breaks that up and dominates Blue. Parker grabs Blue’s foot and that allows Jay to kick her off the apron. Jay is in charge as we go to picture in picture.
When we come back to full screen, Jay gets a superplan power bomb on Soho and Blue. Jay gets a two count on Soho, and then a two count on Blue. Blue fights her way free and sets Soho in a DDT from Jay and then Blue clotheslines Jay down which causes a DDT on Soho. I liked that move.
We get more googly eyes between Parker and Soho, and Jay is able to nail Soho with a kick on the floor. They return to the ring and Blue gets a cross body on both opponents. The fight goes on in the ring and Menard and Saraya are yelling at each other. Soho is knocked into Parker's arms on the floor. Saraya pulls them apart. Saraya and Soho are yelling at each other while Blue gets a cutter on Jay for the pin and the win.
Winner: Skye Blue
In the back, Renee interrupts Wardlow working out, and he says he will go after MJF when he feels like it. AR Fox says he was doing the same thing, and Wardlow drops him, saying he doesn’t need advice from anyone.
Mark Briscoe vs Jon Moxley - Continental Classic match
They lock up collar and elbow and run the ropes. It quickly becomes a slug fest. They just beat on each other all around the ring. Mark finally gets a drop kick through the ropes onto Mox on the floor, and then hits a neck breaker from the apron onto Mox. Mark tosses Mox back in the ring and goes to the top. Mox dodges a leap and they go back to throwing hands.
Mox is able to get a big boot knocking Mark to the floor as we go to picture in picture and we pass the top of the hour.
When we return to full screen, Mark is busted open and Mox gets a two count. Mark breaks out of an attempted suplex and gets an insigiri. He then gets a running elbow strike. Mark then gets a suplex for two. Mark tries for a neck breaker and Mox escapes and goes for an arm bar. Mark gets to the rope for the break and Mox breaks on four. The go to the top, fighting all the way.
Mox is knocked to the mat, and when Mark leaps, Mox catches him into a paradigm shift. Mark is able to bounce back with a drop kick into Mox’s head. Both men are down. Mark gets a Death Valley driver and then hits the froggie bo for two. Mark runs into a boot from Mox, but Mark tries for the Jay driller. Mox escapes and gets a lariat and a death rider for two.
Mox grabs a rear chinlock and they get to their feet. Mox goes for a choke, but Mark kicks off the ropes to turn it into a two count. Mox gets a half and half suplex. They go back to throwing hands in the middle of the ring. Mox gets a knee strike and a curb stomp. Mox gets a death rider for the pin and the win.
