WOW Season 2, Episode 10: Unsanctioned

Our commentary team is David McLane and Steven Dickey

The Beast is on her way to the ring and she says that when Lana Starr and her Fabulous Four messed with her, they messed with the wrong person. She doesn’t care what kind of match it is, and they will have to answer to her. And tonight’s main event is The Beast vs Vickie Lynn McCoy in an unsanctioned match.

Princess Aussie (WOW Champion) vs Gloria Glitter

They lock up collar and elbow and they move to wrist locks and headlocks. Aussie gets a shoulder tackle and Glitter says Aussie pulled the hair. She then kicks Aussie and hits a snap mare. They trade quick roll ups and Aussie gets a back slide for two. Glitter charges at Aussie in the corner, and Aussie dodges. Aussie gets a series of arm drags and holds Glitter on the mat. Glitter gets to their feet and they go to the corner.

Glitter gets a suplex and then stomps Aussie down in the corner. Glitter gets a two count and then uses Aussie as an aerobic step device. Aussie grabs a quick rollup for two, but Glitter is able to escape and gets a back breaker for two. Glitter locks on a camel clutch. Aussie able to reverse it for a two count. Aussie gets a drop toe hold and then grabs the Indian deathlock and Glitter escapes by biting Aussie’s hand.

Aussie gets a super kick, a German suplex and covers for two. Aussie works over Glitter in the corner and when she charges at Glitter, Glitter dodges and then puts Aussie into a back breaker stretch. Aussie is able to power out and hits a cutter. Aussie goes to the top for a frog splash for the pin and the win.

Winner and still WOW Champion: Princess Aussie

After the match, Aussie grabs a mic and says she is proud to be champion. She says she wants to stop being interrupted by the Fabulous Four. She says she has problems with the people who want her title, and she says she wants a championship challenge match. She wants to give opportunities to new competitors.

The match with Glitter was a solid match, and both women did a good job with it.

Ariana Gambino vs Tiki Chamorro

They lock up and then break clean. They lock up again and go to the ropes and then the corner. Tiki gets a pair of arm drags and a drop toe hold. Gambino is able to kick Tiki off and then beats her down in the corner. Gambino gets a two count and then as Gamino is shouting down Tiki, Tiki hits a series of blows. Gamino hoists Tiki up, but she escapes out the back. Tiki picks the legs and they both struggle for control and Gambino drops her and then hits the leg drop. 

Gambino grabs a rear chinlock  and Tiki fights free with elbows. Tiki hits clothesline and then hits a headbutt. Tiki gets a tiger feint kick. Tiki tries for a splash and Gambino gets the knees up, hits the Chef’s Kiss for the pin and the win.

Winner: Adriana Gambino

Gambino says she has four wins in a row and wants a title shot. 

In the back Lana Starr and Vickie Lynn McCoy are in the back about McCoy’s match with the Beast. Starr says she won’t go to the ring with McCoy, and McCoy says that Starr is scared, and she should be, and she should be scared of what McCoy will do to the Beast.

Ice Cold w/Genesis and Exodus vs Jessie Jones w/Americana

Ice Cold and the rest of her team aren’t getting along as well as they did last season. 

Jessie Jones also hasn’t been getting along with Americana that Jessie is falling back into cheating.

Jones gets a kick and an arm drag over the top. She keeps the arm and her and Cold go back and forth. Jones whips Cold into the corner and runs into her. Cold reverses it and whips Jones to the corner and as the ref is talking to Cold, Genesis, and Exodus grab Jones’s foot. Cold tracks from behind and then hits a swinging neckbreaker for two. 

Cold then works over Jones in the corner. Any time the ref isn’t looking, Genesis and Exodus work over Jones from the outside. Cold gets a two count and then grabs a rear chinlock using Jones’s own arm. Jones is able to break free and grabs an abdominal stretch. Cold is able to escape and hits a reverse DDT for two. Jones grabs a hip toss and a face buster. 

Jones hits a kick on Genesis and Exodus through the ropes after knocking them off the apron, and when she turns her attention back to Cold, she gives her a poke in the eye. Jones then grabs her arm bar and Cold has to tap out.

Winner: Jessie Jones

Jones grabs a mic and says that if anyone has been offered a title shot, why do people who have had multiple title shots but she hasn’t. She says she should get a title shot with The Beast against Princess Aussie.

We then see Ice Cold, Genesis, and Exodus argue about the match and they blame Exodus for always complaining. They all blame each other as the segment ends.

In the back, Americana says that Jessie Jones doesn’t need to cheat to win her matches. Jessie tells her, you do you and I’ll do me.

In the back Renia Del Rey and Wrecking Ball call out the Tonga Twins for their tag team title.

The Main Event: The Beast vs Vickie Lynn McCoy in an Unsanctioned Match

McCoy comes out with a bat. 

Beast charges to the ring and attacks McCoy.  Beast hits a German Suplex. Beast charges into the corner and McCoy dodges and allows Beast to run into the ring post from the inside. Beast charges at McCoy and McCoy sends her to the floor with a low bridge. McCoy goes to the floor and attacks Beast with the bat and then starts working on her with a chair. Beast stops the chair and they battle back and forth.

They return to the ring and McCoy goes after Beast’s leg with the chair. McCoy then wraps the chair around Beast’s leg, but when McCoy climbs to the top, Beast grabs the chair and uses it to knock McCoy to the floor from the top. Beast is slow to follow up because of her leg and tries for a spear, but McCoy dodges and Beast goes into the barricade. McCoy hits a cross body for one.

Beast recovers enough to throw hands and she and McCoy fight at ringside. Beast slams McCoy’s head into the ring post. Beast grabs the bat and nails McCoy in the midsection and then hits a suplex on McCoy. Beast hits a spear. Beast tries another charge, and McCoy dodges, and Beast goes into the ring post. McCoy follows with a German suplex on the floor. 

Both women are down. McCoy is up first and starts in with kicks and stomps. McCoy goes under the ring for a table. Beast is put on the table and McCoy goes to the apron. Beast is able to grab McCoy and power bombs her through the table for the pin and the win.

Winner: Beast

A well done PG brawl to build up The Beast and tie off the story of her being attacked last season.
