11/20/23 Results from New Japan's World Tag League 2023 From Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Japan:
World Tag League begins today. 16 teams and a bunch of new faces in this tag tournament.
It was announced by New Japan on their website that Kevin Kelly will not be calling Wrestle Kingdom 18 due to family commitments. Chris Charlton will be the English voice on commentary.
Also, Charlton announced Tetsuya Naito underwent another eye surgery and that Naito should recover in time Wrestle Kingdom.
DOUKI and TAKA Michinoku vs Soberano Jr. and Atlantis Jr.
Atlantis taps out TAKA to Atlantida (a reverse Torture Rack)
Yuji Nagata, Minoru Suzuki, Alex Zayne and Lance Archer vs. Gedo, Taiji Ishimori, Bad Luck Fale and Jack Fonza
Nagata forces Gedo to tap out to the Nagata Lock II.
SANADA, Tachi, and Yuya Uemura vs. Yota Tsuji, Zandokan Jr. and BUSHI
Uemura pins BUSHI with a double underhook suplex with a bridge (Deadbolt Suplex)
Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, and YOH vs. Hikuleo, El Phantasmo and Jado
ELP pins YOH after hitting CR2
World Tag League Matches:
Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls vs. Bishop Kaun and Toa Linoa
The Gates of Agony come to the ring with their Ring of Honor 6-man Titles.
Haste pins Kaun after hitting a Tank Buster.

EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi vs. Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano
Kanemaru, SHO and Togo get involved. Same House of Torture shenanigans.
EVIL pins Yano after hitting Everything is Evil.

Alex Coughlin and Gabe Kidd vs. Kaito Kiyomiya and Royhei Oiwa
Kidd and Kiyomiya came out for a fight. They immediately went after each other. War Dogs made the mistake of taking the match to the outside and trying to use weapons. Kidd did not pay attention to the referee's count. Kiyomiya makes it back into the ring as the referee counts to 20.
War Dogs are counted out. Kiyomiya and Oiwa win.
Kiyomiya and Oiwa earn 2 points.
War Dogs have 0 points.
Kidd and Kiyomiya attack each other after the match. Huge brawl. Young Lions and officials try to break them up. Chairs are flying around. Kidd and Kiyomiya want to kill each other. This was good heat.
Shota Umino and Ren Narita vs. Great O-Khan and HENARE
Good back and forth match.
Umino hits a Blaze Blade on O-Khan and follows with a Death Rider. Umino pins O-Khan.
Umino and Narita earn 2 points.
United Empire has 0 points.
O-Khan was awesome. He led the match, took the pin and got all the other men over. Umino and Narita get the victory. He also helped HENARE look like a monster with their double team power moves.
Umino and Narita hug each other after the match.
Umino gave a passionate speech. Korakuen was not sold out and he promised to do his best to sell out every show for New Japan.
