Former WCW star Marcus "Buff" Bagwell was arrested on 11/16 and charged with Speeding (Misdemeanor) and Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (Misdemeanor) in Cobb County, Georgia, according to The Georgia Gazette.
According to the Cobb Country Sherriff's Office, Bagwell was arrested on 11/16 at 1:30 PM. He was released on 11:17 at 1:51 PM.
Bagwell is listed as having been sentenced to "time served."
There is no word yet whether this may have been a case of Bagwell serving a sentence stemming from an earlier criminal case or a new circumstance as of this writing.
Update: Bagwell tweeted the following, giving context to what he was incarcerated for and why it was listed as a DUI:
Still sober despite the reports - unfortunately whenever I get a violation in the DUI Court Program it lists my original offense from 3 years ago ???? I did serve 24 hours for losing my temper Thurs-Fri and I’m working keeping my cool every day. https://t.co/IqZBopcjI2
