LOS ANGELES' GLOBE THEATER, HOME TO PWG & MANY OTHER WRESTLING PROMOTIONS, CLOSED

Prestige Wrestling announced this evening that The Globe Theater, which was easily the top independent venue currently available to promotions in Los Angeles, has closed immediately without warning:

The venue regularly hosted events from Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, becoming PWG's home after their legendary home in Reseda, CA was shut down and also hosted New Japan, Prestige, Wrestlecon's 2023 Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow, the first-ever Impact x NJPW Multiverse United event and many more.

This is a massive loss locally. The official website for the venue, which originally opened back in 1913, is already down.  Tickets for a rave event at the venue scheduled for this Friday 11/17 remain on sale.
