Season 2, Episode 9: A Night of Handcuffs

We get a video of David McClane n his office, setting up a match between La Bandidas and Miami Sweet Heat, and to keep their managers from interfering, both Sophia Lopez and Lana Star will be handcuffed to the Mother Truckers tag team.

The Tonga Twins (Kaoz and Kona) WOW Tag Team Champions vs GJ Jane and The Classmaster w/Samantha Smart

The Classmaster is a new character, and is played by Lois Grain, who has wrestled on the indies in California.

Jane and Kona lock up and neither can get an advantage. Kona then hits a shoulder tackle and tags in Kaoz, and they hit a flapjack on Jane, with Kaoz covering for two. Kaoz hits a charge in the corner and tags in Kona, who hits a splash in the corner and covers for two. Jane pushes Kaoz into her corner, where Kaoz hits headbutts on Classmaster and Jane before going back and tagging in Kona.

Classmaster tags in and they lock up with Classmaster forcing them into the corner. Kona whips Classmaster into the corner, where she goes up and over, and then snaps Kona's neck on the top rope. As Classmaster hits Kona with a big boot and a leg drop, Smart pulls Kaoz off the apron. Classmaster covers for two. Classmaster gets a Boston Crag and Jane comes in and slaps on a chin lock. Jane and the Classmaster work over Kona with quick tags.

Kaoz is able to get a back suplex on Jane and gets a tag as does Jane, so Kaoz runs wild. When the Classmaster gets a knee into Kaoz in the ropes, Kona gets a blind tag. The Tonga Twins hit a 3D that they call the double vision, for the pin and the win.

Winners and still Tag Team Champions: The Tonga Twins

Wrecking Ball and Reina Del Ray come out to mock them, and the Tongs Twins offer them a match.

Katrina Jinx vs Coach Campanelli 

Katrina is also a new character, who is a Catwoman style character, and is played by actress Ariel de Ment.

They lock up collar and elbow and Coach grabs a side headlock and they move to arm bars and Jinx trips Coach. Coach gets a side headlock takeover. Jinx is able to make it into a leg scissor and Coach is able to escape. Coach hits a shoulder tackle, and they go back to running the ropes. Coach grabs a leg and gets a dragon screw. Coach this a clothesline in the corner and a snap mare. 

Coach hits a dropkick on Jinx and covers for two. Coach is whipped to the corner and goes up and over Jinx, who follows her in. Jinx hits a back kick and follows with a roundhouse kick. She keeps Coach down with stomps. Jinx whips Coach in the corner and works her over there. Jinx covers for two. 

Jinx chokes Coach in the ropes and breaks with a kick to the face. Coach gets a rollup for two. Jinx hits a sling blade for two. Jinx locks Coach’s legs and pulls back on a chinlock. Coach trips Jinx and they run the ropes, with Coach getting a flying polish hammer and then an insigiri. Coach gets a swinging neckbreaker for two. Jinx gets a wrist lock and climbs the ropes, She walks the ropes, but Coach yanks her down and hits the buzzer beater for the pin and the win.

Winner: Coach Campanelli

Backstage Fury, formerly of the Heavy Metal Sisters, says she is starting her solo career.

Fury vs Holidead

Fury hits a Thesz press and Holidead rolls her over and they throw hands. They break and get to their feet and then throw hands in the middle of the ring. Holidead slams Fury into the bottom rope. Fury gets on the apron and Holidead suplexes her back in the ring and then nails a series of leg drops. Holidead drags Fury to the apron and then nails her with blows from the floor. Holidead tries for a leg drop on the apron, and Fury rolls out of the way.

Fury hits a senton for two. Fury whips Holidead into the corner and then follows with a splash. Holidead dodges a boot in the corner and lays in her own attacks on Fury. Holidead puts Fury on the middle turnbuckle and kicks that middle turnbuckle repeatedly. Holidead goes across the ring and is able to charge at Fury, who is still on the middle turnbuckle in the ropes, and the Referee stops her saying it is not a legal attack. 

Um…ok.

Instead, Holidead hits a DDT for two. Holidead hoists Fury up, hits two back breakers, and then drops her neck first on the top rope. Fury is able to avoid Holidead’s big boot and instead hits a drop toe hold. She hits Holidead with blows and then hits a flat liner for two. In the entryway, Chainsaw and Angelica Dante are watching the match.

In the ring, Holidead ducks clothesline and hits a spinebuster. Chainsaw comes toward the ring and Holidead motions for her to come on in. Fury uses this to get a surprise roll up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Fury

Holidead tries to attack Chainsaw, but referees hold them apart.

In the back, Coach Campanelli is looking for Ariel Sky, who has a ton of women trying out to be in their team. Coach then puts them through tryouts. 

It’s a decent little comedy bit. 

We then see that when Lana Starr shows up, the mother Truckers are mocking her by showing the handcuffs they will be using on her.

Miami Sweet Heat (Lindsey and Laurie) w/Lana Starr, Penelope Pink, and Vickie Lynn McCoy vs La Bandidas (Sylvia Sanchez and Vivian Rivera) w/Sophia Lopez

Heat attack the Bandidas as the bell rings, and Rivera is in the ring as Heat double team her. Laurie gets a two count. Rivera takes over with a snap mare on Laurie, but Laurie gets a slam on Rivera. Rivera hits a drop toe hold into Laurie and gets a pin, but the ref is trying to keep Lindsey from getting in the ring. Lindsey is tagged in and then slam Rivera. Lindsey stomps down Rivera and then whips her into her corner and Laurie tags in and they double-team Rivera. Lindsey covers Rivera, despite not tagging in, and Sanchez breaks it up. 

The referee has lost all control of this match!

Laurie is tagged in and Rivera whips her into the corner and hits a splash in the corner. Sanchez gets a boot to Laurie’s back and Rivera follows up with a tag. As they double-team Laurie, Lindsey comes into the ring to break it up, and the ref shoves her back into her corner. Rivera works over Laurie in the corner and then Sanchez tags in and keeps up the attack. 

Rivera tags back in and drops an elbow for two. Sanchez runs across the ring and pops Lindsey, and as the ref deals with them, Rivera puts Laurie in a poorly applied tarantula (she forgets to grab the arms for most of the hold) in the ropes. Lindsey slams Sanchez in the middle of the ring and then breaks Laurie out of the tarantula. 

Lindsey attacks Rivera on the apron and slams her to the floor. Laurie pulls Rivera to the corner and tags in Lindsey. Heat puts on a double Boston Crab, and Sanchez breaks it up with a dropkick to both members of Heat. Rivera takes out Lindsey with double knees to the face. Laurie hits Rivera with a DDT. Sanchez hits Laurie with a DDT. Sanchez is tossed out of the ring. 

Heat hits a Fab Jab on Rivera for the pin and the win.

Winners: Miami Sweet Heat

Lots of chaos in this match, and the managers being handcuffed to the Other Truckers was a decent bit of comedy. Lana Starr’s Fabulous Four attack the ref and go after the Mother Truckers. Big Rig Betty is handcuffed to the bottom rope and the Fabulous Four attack Holly Swag in the ring.
