Kevin Von Erich and Bill Mercer, the legendary host of World Class Championship Wrestling, were both in attendance the world premiere of The Iron Claw film based on the Von Erich family. Von Erich had dinner with actor Zac Efron, who portrays him in the film on Tuesday night 11/7.
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was also in attendance.
Marshall and Ross Von Erich were there as well.
The film's stars Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson and Stanley Simons as well as Writer and Director Sean Durkin were all in attendance.
Luke Hawx, Chavo Guerrero, Thrillbilly Silas Mason, Danny Flamingo and Brady Pierce were also at the screening. All worked on the film.
The premiere was held at the Texas Theater in Dallas, the location Lee Harvey Oswald hid after shooting President John F. Kennedy in 1963 and was arrested. As we noted in a story yesterday, Mercer was actually the reporter who informed Oswald he was being charged with the murder.
The film will be released theatrically in the United States starting 12/20 with a full rollout on 12/22.
