FIGHT LIFE: ANSWER TO THE KING in Milldale, CT REPORT 11/8/23

Tornado Tag Team Match
YDNB (Charlie Tiger & Ellis Taylor) vs. The Haven (Shawn Knyte & Jay Onyx)

The match begins with an all out brawl between everybody in the match, The Haven use drop kicks to knock their opponents out of the ring. The Haven then hit both of their opponents with suicide dives, the brawl between both teams spills into the crowd. Taylor and Knyte take their battle towards the bar, Onyx then sends Tiger face first into the wall before crushing him with a steel chair. Knyte gets Taylor into the ring so he can double team him alongside Onyx, Onyx then propels Knyte into the air so he can land a tornado splash on Taylor for a near fall. Taylor fights back and he sends Knyte out of the ring, Tiger returns and he power bombs Knyte on the hardest part of the ring. Taylor then hits Onyx with a knee strike for a near fall, YDNB clear the ring and the brawl resumes on the arena floor. Onyx grabs Taylor and he sends him right into the ring post, Tiger grabs Onyx and he sends him into the wall a few times. Tiger grabs Knyte and he power slams him onto Onyx.

Tiger gets Onyx back to the ringside area so Taylor can nail him with a suicide dive, Tiger hits Onyx with a splash in the middle of the ring for a near fall. Taylor then hits Onyx with a top rope axe handle smash before Tiger lands a stroke for a near fall, Knyte returns and he attacks both opponents with clotheslines. Tiger hits Knyte with a head butt before Taylor lands a sit out power bomb on him for a near fall, YDNB look for a T-Gimmick on Knyte before Onyx breaks it up. Onyx then sends Taylor to the arena floor before hitting Tiger with a back stabber, Onyx looks for a dive and Taylor nails him with a steel chair. YDNB double team Onyx for another near fall, Knyte tries fighting back and he gets hit with the T-Gimmick for a near fall. Tiger grabs a pair of handcuffs from his fanny pack and he cuffs Knyte to the ring post, Tiger gets a kendo stick and he attacks Knyte with it. Taylor grabs the kendo stick and he assaults Knyte with it, Onyx returns and he attacks both opponents before hitting Tiger with a DDT on the arena floor.

Onyx gets the key to the cuffs and he frees Knyte from the ring post, The Haven then hit Tiger with a double suplex on the arena floor. The Haven then pick up Taylor and they slam him onto a downed Tiger for a near fall, Onyx looks to piledrive Taylor on a table and Tiger makes the save. Taylor then hits Onyx with a piledriver on the table for a near fall, Knyte returns and he attacks both opponents with a kendo stick. Taylor then hits Knyte with a chair shot to the head before Tiger lands a spear on the ring apron, Tiger then puts Knyte through a table for a three count.

Winners: YDNB (Charlie Tiger & Ellis Taylor)

Lucas Chase vs. Richard Holliday

The match begins with Holliday going after the arm of Chase until Chase cracks him with some strikes, Chase then drops Holliday with a back elbow strike. Holliday gets up and Chase nails him with some more strikes, Chase follows up by dropping Holliday with a slam. Holliday fights back and he nails Chase with a corner clothesline, Holliday sits Chase on the top rope while popping him with chops. Holliday knocks Chase to the arena floor and he follows him out there while landing more chops, Holliday gets Chase back in the ring and Chase eventually nails him with a spine buster. Chase stands Holliday up before dropping him with a right, Chase follows up by choking Holliday along the middle rope. Chase also kicks Holliday in the face before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, Holliday fights back and Chase drops him with a full nelson slam for a near fall. Chase keeps Holliday down while raking his eyes, Chase then traps Holliday in the corner before landing clothesline smashes and a suplex. Chase goes to the middle rope and he misses a senton attempt, Holliday gets up to drop Chase multiple times.

Holliday then hits Chase with a series of corner clotheslines, Chase fights back and Holliday nails him with a cutter followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Holliday sets up for the 2008 and Chase defends while landing strikes and stomps, Holliday and Chase have a striking exchange that ends while Chase lands a discus lariat for a near fall. Chase looks for his finisher and Holliday defends before another striking exchange breaks out, Holliday then hits Chase with a power slam and 2008 for a three count.

Winner: Richard Holliday

Flip Gordon vs. Jordan Oliver

The match begins with Oliver backing Gordon into the corner before letting him go free, Gordon backs Oliver into the corner before letting him go free as well. Oliver and Gordon then do some chain wrestling before Oliver traps Gordon in a headlock, Gordon gets free and Oliver drops him with a shoulder tackle. Oliver gets Gordon in another headlock and Gordon gets free before landing a shoulder tackle of his own, Gordon does a handstand and Oliver drops him with a basement drop kick. Oliver traps Gordon in the corner while landing a bunch of chops, Oliver then hits Gordon with a head scissors takedown followed by a double handed chop. Gordon tries fighting back and Oliver drops him with a power slam, Oliver goes for a moonsault and Gordon gets out of the way. Gordon then drops Oliver multiple times before landing a spear, Gordon sits Oliver on the top rope before using a springboard kick to knock him to the arena floor. Gordon follows up by hitting Oliver with a suicide dive, Gordon gets Oliver back in the ring and Oliver avoids his 450 splash.

Oliver then hits Gordon with multiple super kicks and a Cleopatra Cutter, Oliver stands Gordon up while landing more strikes. Oliver then hits Gordon with a power slam followed by a moonsault for a near fall, Oliver sets up for the Acid Bomb and Gordon fights back. Gordon stays on the top rope and Oliver meets him up there, Oliver looks for a superplex and Gordon defends before attempting a sunset bomb. Oliver defends and Gordon super kicks him in the knee, Gordon then hits Oliver with a Samoan Pop followed by a middle rope elbow drop. Gordon applies the STF to Oliver and Oliver somehow gets to the ropes, Oliver and Gordon then have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Gordon ends the exchange by dropping Oliver with a pele kick, Oliver recovers and he drops a leaping Gordon with a side slam. Oliver misses a charge in the corner before eating a springboard sling blade from Gordon, Gordon goes to the top rope and Oliver hits him with an Acid Kick. Oliver then hits Gordon with the Acid Bomb for a near fall, Gordon surprises Oliver with a roll up for a near fall.

Gordon then hits Oliver with a back body drop, Gordon goes for a springboard move and Oliver counters with an Acid Kick. Oliver then hits Gordon with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Gordon recovers and he sends Oliver into the ropes before landing a 619. Gordon follows up by hitting Oliver with a knee strike followed by a TKO for another near fall, Gordon places Oliver on the top rope and Oliver catches him in mid air with a cutter for a near fall. Oliver then hits Gordon with multiple Acid Kicks for a three count.

Winner: Jordan Oliver

After the match, Flip Gordon says tonight was his last independent wrestling match in Connecticut and he is excited for the next chapter in his career.

Speed Demon Scramble
Alec Price vs. Dustin Waller vs. Sammy Diaz vs. Shannon Levangie vs. Juni Underwood

The match begins with Underwood nailing a bunch of opponents with super kicks, Waller knocks Price into the ropes before landing a 619. Price recovers and he drops Waller with a springboard cross body block, Diaz clears the ring before landing a leg lariat on Underwood. Levangie returns and she drops Diaz with a head scissors takedown, Levangie then hits Diaz with a top rope meteora. Levangie clears the ring and she goes to the top rope before Underwood hangs her upside down, Underwood then hits Levangie with a basement drop kick for a near fall. Underwood attacks Levangie with a hair pull before nailing Waller with a super kick, Underwood sets up for a Boston crab before sending Price out of the ring. Underwood then hits Levangie with a northern lights suplex for a near fall, Undewrwood then gets Levangie in a Boston crab until Levangie counters with a roll up for a near fall. Levangie knocks Underwood into the corner before landing a big boot followed by a super kick, Levangie follows up with a sliced bread on Underwood before Waller rolls her up for a near fall.

Wood then drops Levangie before landing a standing shooting star press for a near fall, Price returns and he knocks Waller into the corner landing multiple running knee strikes. Price follows up with a top rope guillotine leg drop on Waller, Diaz returns and he nails Price with a power slam followed by a moonsault. Waller also nails Price with a splash before Levangie nails both with one of her own, Underwood sets up for a dive and Diaz boots him in the face. Diaz then takes out a bunch of wrestlers with a suicide dive, Waller and Price follow up with suicide dives of their own. Levangie dives off of the top rope onto everybody to send them crashing to the arena floor, Levangie gets Diaz in the ring before landing a tornado DDT. Price returns and he eats a head kick from Levangie before blocking a sliced bread, Price then sends Levangie out of the ring after landing a rebound lariat. Waller gets Price out of the ring before Underwood takes him out, Diaz returns and he nails Underwood with a poison rana followed by a basement drop kick. Diaz then hits Underwood with a cradle shock for a three count

Winner: Sammy Diaz

After the match, Sammy Diaz is interviewed and he declares himself the king of the Speed Demon Scramble. Jimmy Lloyd interrupts and he makes his way to the ring, Lloyd says he is the king of scramble matches and he challenges Diaz to a match right now.

Jimmy Lloyd vs. Sammy Diaz

The match begins with Lloyd and Diaz having a striking exchange, Lloyd drops a charging Diaz with a super kick for a near fall. Diaz recovers to hit Lloyd with a power slam followed by a middle rope moonsault for a near fall, Lloyd recovers and he trades super kicks with Diaz. Lloyd blocks a super kick before hitting Diaz with a falcon arrow for a near fall, Lloyd follows up with a piledriver on Diaz for a three count.

Winner: Jimmy Lloyd

Marcus Mathers vs. JT Dunn

The match begins with Mathers backing Dunn into the corner before the ref separates them, Dunn gets Mathers in a headlock and Mathers gets free before eating a shoulder tackle. Mathers and Dunn exchange some roll ups for a few near falls, Dunn looks for a cutter and Mathers also looks for one of his own. Mathers knocks Dunn into the corner after landing a drop kick, Mathers keeps Dunn corners before landing a super man punch followed by a head kick. Mathers then hits Dunn with a thrust kick followed by a northern lights suplex for a near fall, Dunn leaves the ring and Mathers nails him with a suicide dive. Mathers follows up by dropping Dunn with another suicide dive, Mathers gets Dunn back in the ring and Dunn sends him into the ring post. Mathers falls to the arena floor and Dunn nails him with a top rope double stomp afterwards, Dunn stays on the arena floor while nailing Mathers with some strikes. Dunn gets Mathers back in the ring and he kicks him right in the back, Dunn bends the arm of a downed Mathers before stomping away on it.

Dunn keeps Mathers grounded while working over his injured arm, Mathers fights back and Dunn cracks him with an enziguri. Mathers tries fighting back again and Dunn hits him with a double stomp for a near fall, Dunn holds Mathers down while applying a modified full nelson to him. Mathers gets free and he manages to hit Dunn with a spinning suplex, Mathers cracks Dunn with a few strikes before landing a springboard stunner. Mathers follows up by hitting Dunn with a release German suplex, Mathers then cracks Dunn with a cutter for a near fall. Mathers misses a pump kick and Dunn nails him with a Samoan driver for a near fall, Mathers fights back and he has a striking exchange with Dunn. Mathers ends the exchange by hitting Dunn with a dragon suplex, Mathers follows up by crushing Dunn with a springboard destroyer. Mathers then hits Dunn with a pump kick followed by a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Mathers goes to the top rope and Dunn avoids his leap before landing a cutter for a near fall.

Dunn looks for a tombstone pile driver and Mathers counters with a roll up for a near fall, Dunn recovers and he hits Mathers with Death By Elbow for a near fall. Dunn again goes for Death By Elbow and Mathers blocks it, Mathers then hits Dunn with a bunch of strikes followed by a half nelson suplex and a super kick. Mathers nails Dunn with a few boots to the face before Dunn drops him with one of his own, Dunn then hits Mathers with a running elbow strike for a three count.

Winner: JT Dunn

After the match, Shannon Levangie hits the ring and she checks on both Marcus Mathers and JT Dunn before the two competitors shake hands.

No Rules, Anything Goes Match
Ichiban vs. Mortar

The match begins with Ichiban attacking Mortar during his entrance, Ichiban drops Mortar before landing a ton of strikes. Ichiban then uses a clothesline to knock Mortar out of the ring, Ichiban follows up by hitting Mortar with a suicide dive. Ichiban follows Mortar around the ringside area while landing a ton of strikes, Ichiban sits Mortar on a chair while landing more strikes. Ichiban then sends Mortar into the ring post, Ichiban goes backstage and he returns with a trashcan full of weapons. Ichiban hits Mortar in the head with a foam finger before nailing him with multiple chair shots, Ichiban lets the chair go before nailing Mortar with some more strikes. Mortar recovers and he nails Ichiban with some chair shots to the back, Mortar stands Ichiban up before landing strikes and getting him back in the ring. Mortar tries getting back in the ring and Ichiban knocks him to the arena floor, Ichiban goes for a dive and Mortar nails him with the trashcan. Mortar goes back in the ring and he nails Ichiban with multiple trashcan lid shots, Mortar gets rid of the weapon before hitting Ichiban with a back elbow strike for a near fall.

Mortar grabs Ichiban and he propels him out of the ring and to the arena floor, Mortar grabs the trashcan lid and he hits Ichiban with it again. Ichiban avoids a weapon shot and he nails Mortar with the trashcan lid, Ichiban gets Mortar back in the ring and he drops Mortar with a few clotheslines. Ichiban then hits Mortar with a handspring elbow strike followed by a super kick, Ichiban clears the ring and he nails Mortar with a suicide dive. Ichiban gets Mortar back in the ring and he nails a top rope high cross body for a near fall, Mortar avoids a charging Ichiban before eating a stunner. Mortar avoids a chair shot and he gets it before smashing Ichiban throat first into it, Mortar then nails Ichiban with a lariat for a near fall. Mortar grabs the steel chair and he attacks Ichiban with it again, Ichiban recovers and he nails Mortar with a drop toe hold onto the chair. Ichiban then hits a seated Mortar with a springboard drop kick followed by a destroyer for a near fall, Ichiban grabs the trashcan and Mortar steals it from him before hitting him in the head with it.

Mortar places the trashcan over Ichiban before knocking him into the corner, Mortar goes to the top rope and he nails Ichiban with a coast to coast for a near fall. Mortar leaves the ring and he grabs some chairs from the crowd, Mortar also finds a door to bring in the ring and he sets it up on the chairs. Mortar places Ichiban on the door before going to the top rope, Ichiban gets free and he climbs the ropes to hit Mortar with a superplex through the door for a near fall. Ichiban and Mortar have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ichiban ends the exchange by landing a head kick followed by a springboard elbow strike. Ichiban grabs a piece of the broken down as Mortar begs for mercy, Mortar kicks Ichiban in the balls and Ichiban reveals he was wearing a cup. Ichiban hits Mortar with the cup before kicking him in the balls, Ichiban then hits Mortar with a leaping flat liner for a three count.

Winner: Ichiban

Ken Powers vs. Steven Lust

The match begins with Lust missing a charge in the corner, Powers keeps Lust in the corner while landing a plethora of strikes. Lust recovers and he pokes Powers right in the eyes, Powers recovers to hit Lust with an elbow strike in the corner before tossing him across the ring for a near fall. Powers looks for a power slam and Lust escapes before landing a chop block, Lust traps the injured leg of Powers before landing strikes to the injured knee. Lust keeps Powers down while landing stomps and other strikes, Powers fights back and Lust nails him with a drop kick to the injured knee. Lust sets up for an ankle lock and Powers gets free before landing a monkey flip, Powers then drops Lust multiple times with some clotheslines and a Samoan drop for a near fall. Powers looks for his finisher and his leg gives out, Lust then hits Powers with a high kick followed by a senton for a near fall. Lust picks Powers up and Powers gets free before landing a full nelson slam for a three count.

Winner: Ken Powers

Kevin Blackwood vs. Kylon King

The match begins with King going after the arm of Blackwood, Blackwood gets free and King goes back to work on his arm a short time later. King scores a takedown on Blackwood and Blackwood gets right back up before landing an elbow strike, King and Blackwood exchange arm drags before both counter out of further holds. Blackwood gains control by kicking King in the midsection before landing some chops, King fights back and he nails Blackwood with an overhead belly to belly suplex. King follows up by hitting Blackwood with a short arm clothesline followed by a power slam for a near fall, King traps Blackwood in the corner while landing some strikes. Blackwood tries fighting back and King nails him with more strikes and a slam, King goes to the top rope and Blackwood avoids his leap before landing a ton of strikes. Blackwood trips up King before nailing him with a double stomp, Blackwood follows up by hitting King with a suplex for a near fall. Blackwood keeps King down while applying a chin lock to him, King gets free and Blackwood drops him with a back elbow strike. King tries fighting back again and Blackwood cracks him with a multitude of strikes, Blackwood then drops King with a boot to the face.

Blackwood goes to the top rope and King meets him up there to land a superplex, King cracks Blackwood with a few strikes before landing a clothesline followed by an exploder suplex. Blackwood leaves the ring and King drops him with a moonsault to the arena floor, King gets Blackwood back in the ring before landing a running European uppercut in the corner. Blackwood and King take turns assaulting the other in the corners, King then hits Blackwood with a spine buster followed by a pop up German suplex for a near fall. King sets up for a move and Blackwood defends by landing a bunch of elbow strikes, King escapes a power bomb attempt from Blackwood before landing a knee strike. Blackwood recovers and he nails King with a knee strike followed by a bridging suplex for a near fall, Blackwood and King have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Blackwood ends the exchange by catching King in a sleeper hold, King blocks a penalty kick from Blackwood before landing a few strikes. Blackwood then cracks King with a knee strike followed by a brain buster, Blackwood then hits King with a penalty kick for a near fall.

Blackwood makes his way to the top rope and he nails King with a double stomp for another near fall, Blackwood goes for a tombstone piledriver and King counters with a roll up. Blackwood and King then exchange some snap German suplexes, King ends the exchange by hitting Blackwood with a tornado DDT followed by a modified Styles Clash for a three count.

Winner: Kylon King

Fight Life World Championship
Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Mike Bailey

The match begins with Bailey kicking Slamovich right in the face before the bell sounds, Bailey gets Slamovich out of the ring before sending her into the wall a few times. Bailey follows up by sending Slamovich face first into a steel chair, Bailey then nails Slamovich with a running high kick to the face. Bailey gets Slamovich into the ring as the ref rings the bell, Slamovich recovers to send bailey into the ropes before landing a head kick followed by a clothesline. Bailey leaves the ring and Slamovich nails him with a suicide dive, Slamovich then hits Bailey with multiple snap mares on the arena floor followed by a bunch of kicks. Slamovich gets Bailey back into the ring and Bailey kicks her right in the face, Slamovich falls to the arena floor and Bailey hits her with a triangle moonsault. Bailey keeps Slamovich down while applying a Boston crab to her on the arena floor, Bailey then propels Slamovich right into the ring post. Bailey gets Slamovich back in the ring and he stomps away on her, Slamovich fights back and she nails Bailey with a bunch of strikes.

Bailey manages to trip up Slamovich before getting her back into the Boston crab, Bailey releases the hold before sending Slamovich into the bottom rope. Slamovich tries fighting back again and Bailey kicks her right in the face before landing a slam, Bailey goes for a double knee drop and Slamovich gets out of the way. Slamovich then cracks Bailey with a mule kick followed by a big boot and spin kick to the head for a near fall, Slamovich sets up for a White Knight Driver and Bailey backs her into the corner. Slamovich avoids a super kick from Bailey before eating a drop kick, Bailey then hits Slamovich with an axe kick followed by a thrust kick and a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Bailey gets Slamovich on the top rope while setting up for the Flamingo Driver, Slamovich gets free and Bailey meets her on the ropes. Slamovich gets Bailey down by hitting him with a super German suplex, Slamovich then sends a charging Bailey into the corner before landing a missile drop kick. Slamovich almost charges into the ref and bailey actually does to knock her out, Slamovich catches Bailey in a German suplex and the ref is still down.

Bailey finds a steel chair while Slamovich is checking on the referee, Bailey tosses the chair at Slamovich before kicking it into her face. Bailey sets the chair up in the corner before kicking Slamovich face first into it, Bailey goes for a Flamingo Driver and Slamovich escapes before slamming him onto the chair for a near fall. Bailey recovers and he nails Slamovich with a back body drop followed by a super kick for a near fall, Slamovich and Bailey have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Slamovich ends the exchange by hitting Bailey with a release German suplex and they exchange some more afterwards, Slamovich and Bailey have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Slamovich and Bailey shove the ref multiple times during the exchange and the ref calls for the bell.

Match Result: No Contest

After the match, the locker room clears as they separate Mike Bailey and Masha Slamovich. The ring announcer gets on the microphone to announce that the original ref is restarting the match and there must be a winner.

Fight Life World Championship
Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Mike Bailey

The match restarts with Bailey and Slamovich attacking everybody who came to the ring to split them up, Bailey and Slamovich climb to the top rope while exchanging strikes. Slamovich takes Bailey down with a superplex onto everybody on the arena floor, Slamovich gets Bailey back into the ring before landing a snow plow for a near fall. Slamovich goes for the White Knight Driver and bailey defends before eating some head kicks, Bailey then rolls Slamovich up before landing multiple head kicks. Bailey then hits Slamovich with a Flamingo Driver for a near fall, Bailey misses the Ultimate Weapon and Slamovich nails him with a knee strike for a near fall. Slamovich then hits Bailey with a head kick followed by a White Knight Driver for a three count.

Winner: Masha Slamovich, still your Fight Life World Champion
