MLW announced that Veda Scott has joined the company's broadcast team and will debut at Fightland on 11/18. Scott has been excellent for a long time and this is a good addition. She responded to joining the company by tweeting:
FUN FACT: my pro wrestling career *started* as a backstage correspondent and I’ve been itching to pick up my investigative microphone again. No better place than in Philly! I’ll be there to get some scoopz at #MLW FIGHTLAND ???? https://t.co/tIshgP8BzI

As of this evening, no MLW response regarding Alexander Hammerstone.
However, several departures to report.
Sam Leterna, a NYC-based broadcaster and interviewer who's very good and has appeared of late for Impact Wrestling and the NWA, announced that she departed MLW:
For those asking: MLW and I amicably parted ways a few weeks ago. Grateful for the doors the company opened for me, & I am indebted to the all of wonderful creative collaborators that allowed me to flourish there!

Stay tuned, I live for pro wrestling, & I’m just warming up ????
Luchador Arez took to social media today once again asking for his MLW release, only for MLW to announce that he was released back in MAY (shortly after he and Aramis began making noise online that they wanted out), tweeting:
Comunicado sobre mi Estatus: @MLW @courtbauer

The English translation, thanks to Billy Krotchsen, reads:
To The Public Opinion,
I feel obligated to publicly comment on the following situation, in hopes that it can finally be resolved. I join the various fellow wrestlers that have recently, like myself, requested their release from MLW and its owner and president, Court Bauer.
Firstly, I'd like to sincerely thank MLW and Mr. Bauer for their interest in my wrestling career more than 2 years ago when they invited me to be part of their company. In the Spring of 2021, wrestling company AAA presented a job offer to work for MLW as a member of their roster. Even though I was unable to understand the contract, since no Spanish translation was ever given to me as required by law, and even though I had no work visa at the moment I signed that would legally allow me to accept this job offer in the US, I told AAA that I was interested and I signed said contract that was offered to me for 3 years.
The pay that was offered to me was well below my independent guarantee, but I accepted MLW's offer with the hope to see my career grow and establish myself outside of Mexico.
The reality is that MLW has not offered me any wrestling matches in 18 months, and I don't see any interest in them offering me a job in the future. With this situations and knowing what it has cost me to survive as an independent wrestling in the US, I asked more than 6 months ago in the nicest possible way for my contract to be canceled, so that I could explore the opportunity to wrestle for more promotions so that my wrestling career can grow, which is what I have dedicated my life to.
The company has denied my request to cancel my contract, which frankly I do not believe is valid since it was not translated for me and because I did not have legal status to work at the moment it was signed. If I had the resources to protest its legality I'm sure it would be invalidated, but since I do not have those resources I feel obligated to speak publicly. I am embarrassed to do this in public, but my career and my family's well-being are at stake. Since I've read about others asking for their release and receiving it, I feel obligated to do the same and make my situation public, which I feel is unjust to both parties.
I hope that my fans and wrestling fans understand and support me and anyone else that finds themselves in the same unfortunate situation of being signed to a company that has zero interest in working with them.
By means of this post, I am publicly asking once again for complete liberation of my contract with MLW to Mr. Court Bauer.
SIncerely,
Arez.
MLW responded via Twitter:
MLW notified AAA in May that both Arez and Aramis were released from the MLW contracts as AAA is a co-signee on both contracts.

AAA confirmed they would relay this to talent at that time. Evidently they did not.
We wish Aramis and Arez the best with the future.
If that is the case, the idea that it is 5-6 months later and those talents thought they were prevented from working where they wanted to work is pretty pathetic, no matter who was responsible for "relaying the message." Everyone involved come off bad here in my opinion and it would really serve MLW well to publicly apologize to Arez and Aramis. Even if AAA was 100% at fault there, MLW's side should still accept the resppnsibility and be the "bigger" side and offer a public mea culpa in my opinion.
