ABOUT THE AUTHOR 

Dr. Jeremy Housewright was born in the St. Louis area and grew up in Columbia,  Illinois. At 17, he started covering high school football as a freelance sports writer  for a small newspaper in Illinois. Housewright attended SIUE, where he was a Lifestyle Editor at The Alestle. He graduated in 2005 with a Journalism degree and  went on to cover sports and entertainment for several years. He returned to school in 2012, earning a Master’s and a Doctorate (2019) from Missouri Baptist  University in Education Leadership. He continues to be involved in the local and  national media, as an editor for ReviewSTL.com and also covers sports as a  freelance writer for local outlets.
