There's been a lot of praise lately internally for Damian Priest. The word we heard is that over the last several months, he's really impressed management by how hard and physical he's worked and for gutting through quite a few times where he's been banged up but kept going. We reported a few months back that he's been seen as a top level, upper echelon talent and since then, he's won Money in the Bank and continues to get great raves internally.
Last night's Raw taping in Wilkes-Barre was 99% sold out with very few tickets available at the door.
At the taping, they sold Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Bloodline, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, LA Knight and Seth Rollins t-shirts as well as lots of children's toys and accessories.
There were noticeable CM Punk chants live during the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Akira Tozawa bout.
WWE taped the following last night for Thursday's edition of WWE Main Event on Hulu:
*Indus Sher vs. WWE NXT's Noam Dar & Oro Mensah.
*Imperium's Ludvig Kaiser vs. Apollo Crews.
At one point, Giovanni Vinci was slated for that bout but they changed plans.
