We begin with a look back at Crown Jewel.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and Wade and Cole run through the card for tonight.
Seth welcomes everyone to Raw. Seth tells us who he is. He says he is still your World Champion. Seth says he has two other people to thank. He wants to thank Drew McIntyre for the match they had. He might not be at 100 percent but he is better than he was on Saturday. Drew said he was not in bed with THE Judgment Day and THE Judgment Day did not get involved with his match. After the match, Damian Priest tried to cash in the briefcase, but he wants to thank the other person. He asks Sami Zayn to come out to join the party.
Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring.
Seth tells Sami he half expected him to come out with Damian's briefcase. Seth asks Sami if Adam Pearce had him return the briefcase to Priest.
Sami says that is what happened.
Seth says he was in a bad way after his match with Drew, but he wasn't sure if he could handle Priest on his own. Seth thanks Sami. He says since Saturday, he has been thinking about how he can repay Sami.
Sami says he is glad that he could help out Seth and he appreciates that Seth appreciates it. Sami says he has been dealing with THE Judgment Day for months and how they run Raw and that they hold every title except one. If Priest cashes in and becomes champion, we are not dealing with THE Judgment Day, we would be dealing with Bloodline 2.0. As long as there is breath in his body, he will fight THE Judgment Day so they don't run this show.
Seth says that is what he loves about Sami. He stands up for what is right. It does not matter the odds, he stands up for what he wants. Seth says sometimes, people like you don't get what they deserve. THE Judgment Day don't run Raw, Seth says he runs Raw. As long as he is the champion, the contract is not the only way to get an opportunity at his title. Seth says he knows Pearce got the briefcase back, Seth says he went into Pearce's office and he wanted Sami to come out. Seth tells Sami he has a World Title Match and all he has to do is say when.
Sami says he has been caught off guard. He says he learned the hard way about getting title matches. If he wins . . . when he wins . . . Sami says he will win that championship. When he does, he wants to beat a champion who is not compromised. Sami says he knows Seth isn't 100 percent.
Seth asks Sami if he is 100 percent. They have been doing this for decades. We are never 100 percent, but that doesn't stop them from being 100 percent. Seth wants to know when Sami wants his title match.
Sami tells Seth he can't think of another place or another time like right here tonight.
Sami offers his hand to Seth and Seth shakes it.
We go to THE Judgment Clubhouse.
Dom says he could watch Logan Paul beat his deadbeat dad over and over.
Damian Priest shows up and he complains about how the man who stole his briefcase got a match.
Priest sees JD in a Damian Priest shirt and he asks if he bought it. Priest says they will make things right tonight.
Match Number One: Damian Priest and Finn Balor versus Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in a Non Title Match
Balor and Kofi start things off and Finn with a shoulder tackle. Kofi with a back elbow. Finn with a monkey flip and Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi with a drop kick. Woods tags in and Kofi with a kick followed by a sliding clothesline from Woods, a springboard leg drop from Kofi and an elbow drop from Woods. Priest tags in and Kofi and Woods clothesline him over the top rope to the floor. Kofi and Woods with stereo flip dives. Woods with forearms to Priest and a forearm off the apron . Woods with a thrust kick off the apron and they return to the ring. Woods with a forearm in the corner. Woods with a chop and forearm in the corner. Priest with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Woods with an Honor Roll for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Woods pushes Finn off the turnbuckles and hits a missile drop kick. Priest tags in and so does Kofi. Kofi with chops to Priest and a drop kick. Priest catches Kofi but Kofi escapes and Priest runs into a pendulum kick. Kofi with a cross body to Priest for a near fall. Kofi knocks Finn off the apron and connects with a running kick and a Boom Drop. Kofi misses Trouble in Paradise and Priest with punches. The straps come down and he sets for a Razor's Edge and Finn tags in but Kofi escapes and crotches Finn. Priest runs into Balor. Kofi tags in Woods and he sends Priest to the floor. Kofi with a superplex and Woods with an elbow drop but Priest breaks up the cover. Priest goes to the floor and he catches Kofi and hits a flatliner on the announce table. Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Woods with an O'Connor Roll for a near fall but Priest punches Woods. Finn with sling blade. Priest tags in Finn and hits South of Heaven followed by Coup de Grace for the three count.
Winners: Finn Balor and Damian Priest
We take a look at Drew arriving at the building and Jackie Redmond asks him what is next.
Drew gets back into his vehicle and drives away.
Match Number Two: Shinsuke Nakamura versus Akira Tozawa (with Otis and Chad Gable)
Nakamura with a suplex and a reverse exploder but Tozawa lands on his feet and he tells Nakamura to come on. Tozawa with a German suplex for a near fall and Nakamura goes to the floor. Tozawa with a suicide dive and then he goes up top. Nakamura with a kick and a running knee to the midsection. Tozawa with an enzuigiri to Nakamura on the turnbuckles. Tozawa with a chop. Nakamura blocks a Frankensteiner but Tozawa finally hits it and he gets a near fall. Tozawa goes up top for the back senton but Nakamura gets his feet up. Nakamura goes for Kinshasa but Tozawa with a victory roll for a near fall. Tozawa with another near fall. Nakamura with a kick and Kinshasa for the three count.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
After the match, Otis gets in the ring and the shirt comes off. Nakamura doesn't want to deal with Otis and he leaves the ring.
We are told that Sami and Seth for the title is official.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a video package for Natalya.
We go to Adam Pearce.
He mentions that Gunther has made the IC Title one of the most sought after titles. He says finding his next opponent is of the highest importantce. He has found four opponents to see who could be next for Gunther. First is the Miz. Next is Bronson Reed. Next is Ivar. The final man in the match is Ricochet. Pearce says it will be a battle of styles, but we will know who will be next for Gunther.
