IMPACT WRESTLING TURNING POINT 2023

- Grado gets the microphone before the opening match to reveal that he has picked Rhino to be his tag team partner for tonight.

Grado & Rhino vs. Mike D & Ryan Richards

The match begins with Grado taking Richards down while getting him in a headlock, Richards gets free and he works over the arm of Grado. Grado recovers and he gets Richards in another headlock, Richards gets free and Grado drops him with a shoulder tackle. Richards looks for a takedown on Grado and Grado defends, Grado then trips up Richards for a near fall. Grado then cracks Richards with a series of jabs before getting kicked in the midsection, Grado recovers and he hits Richards with a bionic elbow. Richards rakes the eyes of Grado to prevent a tag to Rhino, D tags in and he works over a cornered Grado with a bunch of strikes. D drops Grado before landing a basement drop kick on him, D follows up by hitting Grado with a suplex for a near fall. Richards tags back in and he keeps Grado down while applying a chin lock to him, Grado fights back and he manages to tag Rhino in. Rhino quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Rhino then hits Richards with a Gore for a three count.

Winners: Grado & Rhino

- A video package airs highlighting the rivalry between Trinity and Deonna Purrazzo.

North Wrestling World Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Mark Haskins w/Vicky Haskins

The match begins with Haskins jumping Slater before the ref could ring the bell, the ref rings the bell and Haskins lands more shots on Slater. Haskins then propels Slater out of the ring before landing a suicide dive, Haskins traps the arm of Slater on the ring apron before landing stomps and kicks on it. Haskins gets Slater back in the ring before attacking his arm with more kicks, Haskins traps Slater in the corner while landing more strikes. Vicki interferes and that allows Haskins to land a leaping head kick on Slater, Haskins follows up by landing a drop kick on Slater. Haskins then sends Slater shoulder first into the mat below before curb stomping his injured arm, Haskins keeps Slater down while working over his injured arm. Slater fights back and Haskins drops him with a knee to the midsection for a near fall, Haskins holds Slater down while working over his hurt arm. Slater gets free and Haskins drops him again before applying a cross face to him, Slater gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt.

Slater fights back and Haskins drops him with a double boot to the face, Slater recovers and he drops Haskins with a rebound kick. Haskins immediately attacks the injured arm of Slater again, Slater fights back again and he hits Haskins with a handspring elbow strike. Slater gets Haskins in the corner before nailing him with a drop kick, Slater gets Haskins in the corner again before missing a charge. Slater avoids a charging Haskins before landing a boot to his head for a near fall, Slater keeps Haskins down while stomping away on him. Haskins recovers and he nails Slater with a  rebound discus lariat, Haskins follows up by hitting Slater with a ushigoroshi before landing a sit out driver for a near fall. Slater flips Haskins off and Haskins bites his finger, Haskins nails a downed Slater with some kicks to his injured arm. Slater gets up and he briefly gets into a striking exchange with Haskins before dropping Haskins with a head kick, Haskins recovers and he drops Slater with a drop kick to his knee.

Haskins drops Slater again after landing kicks to his injured arm and head, Haskins then pops Slater with a pump kick to the head. Slater gets up and he nails Haskins with a cutter from out of nowhere, Vicki interferes again and she drags Haskins out of the ring. Slater still manages to nail Haskins with a suicide dive, Slater gets Haskins back in the ring before landing a 450 splash for a three count.

Winner: Leon Slater, still your North Wrestling Champion

Josh Alexander & Eric Young vs. Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster)

The match begins with Alexander backing Webster into the corner before Webster escapes, Alexander then scores a slam takedown on Webster. Webster recovers and he goes to work on the arm of Alexander, Alexander gets Webster down again before working over his arm. Webster gets free and he drops Alexander with an arm drag followed by a standing moonsault, Alexander recovers and he nails Webster with a shoulder tackle. Young and Andrews are tagged in by their respective partners, Young quickly gets Andrews in a headlock. Andrews gets free and he nails Young with multiple hip tosses and  a head scissors takedown, Young fights back and he sends Andrews into the corner. Young follows up by hitting a charging Andrews with a drop kick, Alexander tags back in and he works with Young to hit Andrews with a double shoulder tackle. Alexander then cracks Andrews with multiple elbow smashes to the back of the head, Andrews traps Alexander in the corner before Webster tags in and they both attack the knee of Alexander. Andrews tags back in and he double teams Alexander alongside Webster before landing a standing moonsault for a near fall, Webster tags back in and Alexander drops him with a back elbow strike.

Young tags back in and he keeps Webster grounded while applying a chin lock to him, Webster gets free and Young drops him with a back elbow strike for a near fall. Alexander tags back in and he quickly drops Webster with an European uppercut, Alexander keeps Webster down while working over his arm. Webster fights back and Alexander drops him with a back suplex, Young tags in and he works with Alexander to hit Webster with a wishbone. Young traps Webster in the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Alexander tags back in and he nails Webster with a knee drop before tagging Young back in. Webster fights back and Alexander makes the tag into the match, Webster sends Alexander out of the ring before tagging Andrews in. Andrews quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Young hits the ring and Andrews nails him with a tornado DDT. Andrews then hits Alexander with a code red for a near fall, Webster tags back in and he nails Alexander with a falcon arrow for a near fall. Andrews tags back in and Alexander hits both opponents with German suplexes, Andrews recovers to roll up Alexander and hit Young with a forearm strike. Alexander then hits Andrews with a Finlay roll before Young hits a top rope elbow drop for a near fall, Webster saves Andrews from a double team hold before a wild brawl breaks out between both teams.

Alexander and Young drop their opponents before applying sharp shooters to them both, Young tags in and Andrews shoves him into Alexander. Andrews then hits both opponents with Stundog Millionaires, Webster tags in and he works with Andrews to hit Young with Shadows Over Malice for a near fall. Young rolls up Webster before hitting him with a piledriver for a near fall, Alexander tags in and Webster propels Young into him as he went to the top rope. Webster then drops Alexander with a super rana, Webster then hits Andrews with an accidental knee strike. Alexander then hits Webster with a power bomb into a back breaker, Alexander then hits Andrews with a C4 for a three count.

Winners: Josh Alexander & Eric Young

- A video package airs highlighting TNA’s newest signing in Leon Slater. Slater talks about watching TNA with his mother and how he is now officially a part of the roster.

Gisele Shaw vs. Alex Windsor

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Shaw and Windsor, Shaw manages to get Windsor into a headlock. Windsor gets free and she gets Shaw into a headlock of her own, Shaw gets free and she trades arm drags with Windsor. Shaw backs Windsor into the corner before landing some chops, Windsor fights back and she drops Shaw with an arm drag before landing a basement drop kick to her arm. Windsor then hits Shaw with a running forearm strike for a near fall, Windsor goes to the top rope and Shaw knocks her down to the arena floor. Shaw gets Windsor into the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Shaw traps Windsor in the corner with landing multiple back elbow strikes and a leaping European uppercut for a near fall. Shaw keeps Windsor down while applying a chin lock to her, Windsor gets free and Shaw cracks her with strikes. Shaw then traps Windsor in the ropes before landing a draping DDT for a near fall, Windsor avoids a charging Shaw before eating a super kick. Windsor fights back and she drops Shaw with a clothesline, Windsor gets Shaw in the corner before landing a corner clothesline.

Windsor follows up by dropping Shaw with a flying clothesline, Shaw leaves the ring and Windsor goes to the top rope. Shaw gets back in the ring and Windsor lands a missile drop kick for a near fall, Windsor looks for an arm trap suplex and Shaw escapes to land a springboard cutter for a near fall. Shaw traps the head of Windsor while landing some kicks to her face, Windsor recovers to hit Shaw with a blue thunder bomb for a near fall. Windsor looks for a suplex and Shaw gets free before eating a boot to the head for a near fall, Windsor again looks for the suplex and Shaw gets free to land a spinning back fist. Shaw then hits Windsor with a twisting neck breaker followed by a pair of knee strikes for a three count.

Winner: Gisele Shaw

- Simon Miller is backstage and he talks about Joe Hendry being offended by something Miller said about him recently, Miller says he doesn’t believe in Hendry.

Rich Swann vs. Trey Miguel

The match begins with Swann attempting to work over the arm of Miguel, Miguel then takes Swann down with a headlock. Swann gets free and he also takes Miguel down with a headlock of his own, Miguel blocks a headlock takedown from Swann and Swann still manages to land it a few moments later. Miguel gets free and he trades some arm drags with Swann, Miguel and Swann have some exchanges until Swann knocks Miguel out of the ring with a drop kick. Swann sets up for a dive and Miguel counters with a rope assisted stunner, Miguel drags Swann out of the ring before sending him into the barricade and then dropping him on the hardest part of the ring. Swann gets back in the ring and Miguel sends him right back out of it, Swann gets to the ring apron and Miguel uses a handspring head kick to knock him back to the arena floor. Miguel follows up by hitting Swann with a baseball slide drop kick,. Miguel sends Swann onto the stage and Swann starts fighting back. Swann leaps off the stage and Miguel nails him with a super kick before returning to the ring, Swann gets back in the ring and he nails Miguel with a single leg drop kick a short time later.

Swann then hits Miguel with a few kicks followed by a clothesline and a mule kick for a near fall, Swann goes to the middle rope and Miguel avoids the 450 splash. Miguel nails a downed Swann with a double stomp for a near fall, Miguel taunts Swann while kicking him in the face a few times. Swann fights back and he gets into a striking exchange with Miguel, Swann ends the exchange by hitting Miguel with multiple super kicks. Miguel recovers to hit Swann with a poison rana followed by a thrust kick to the head, Miguel gets Swann to his knees before landing a multitude of kicks. Swann blocks a kick from Miguel and Miguel still lands a Blinding Spiral for a near fall, Miguel stands Swann up before landing more strikes. Miguel goes to the middle rope and Swann takes him down while landing a cutter, Swann then hits Miguel with a 450 splash from the middle rope for a three count.

Winner: Rich Swann

- Dani Luna and Subculture are backstage, Luna talks about being compared to Jordynne Grace and she will conquer Grace tonight.

Jordynne Grace vs. Dani Luna

The match begins with Grace backing Luna into the corner before both of them stumble out of the ring, both competitors get back in the ring and Grace gets Luna in a headlock for a short time. Luna and Grace exchange shoulder tackles and neither go down, Grace eventually does drop Luna with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Luna recovers to hit Grace with a back body drop followed by a sliding lariat for a near fall, Luna backs Grace into the corner before landing a shoulder thrust to the midsection. Luna goes for a suplex and Grace counters with a small package, Luna recovers and she drop kicks the knee of Grace before landing a suplex of her own for a near fall. Grace fights back and Luna corners her while landing some more strikes, Grace fights back and she hits Luna with a spinning back fist. Grace and Luna exchange multiple strikes until they both go down, Grace and Luna both get back up before another striking exchange takes place.

Grace goes to the ring apron and Luna sends her into the top turnbuckle, Grace fights back and Luna drags her through the ropes before landing a German suplex followed by a clothesline for a near fall. Luna tries picking Grace up and Grace defends while landing a few strikes, Grace then hits Luna with a Cop Killer for a near fall. Grace looks for the Juggernaut Driver and Luna defends before eating some clotheslines, Luna recovers to hit Grace with a spinning elbow strike. Luna looks for the Luna Landing and Grace defends before landing the Juggernaut Driver for a three count.

Winner: Jordynne Grace

- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Joe Hendry and Simon Miller.

- Simon Miller gets the microphone before the next match to apologize to Joe Hendry for being more popular than the Impact Wrestling roster.

Joe Hendry vs. Simon Miller

The match begins with Miller attacking Hendry from behind before the bell sounds, Miller grabs the microphone to say it is time for a live Ups & Downs. Hendry quickly drops Miller when he gets back into the ring, Miller leaves the ring again to avoid a kick from Hendry. Hendry also leaves the ring and he chases Miller back into it, the bell sounds and Hendry nails Miller with a spinning slam followed by an elbow drop. Hendry stands Miller up before attacking him with some more chops, Hendry follows up by hitting Miller with a delayed vertical suplex for a near fall. Miller recovers and he nails Hendry with a knee strike followed by a slam, Miller goes for an elbow drop and Hendry gets out of the way. Miller uses a referee distraction to rake the eyes of Hendry, Miller then hits Hendry with an avalanche followed by a side slam for a near fall. Miller keeps Hendry down while applying a chin lock to him, Hendry tries fighting back and Miller drops him with a clothesline. Miller goes for a sleeper hold on Hendry and Hendry counters by nailing Miller with a suplex, Hendry drops Miller a few times before landing a fall away slam a short time later.

Miller recovers to drop Hendry on the top rope and land a spear, Miller goes for another spear and Hendry counters with a cutter. Miller gets to his knees while landing a bunch of kicks, Miller fights back and he manages to hit Hendry with some shoulder tackles followed by a back suplex. Hendry quickly recovers and he nails Miller with a Standing Ovation for a three count.

Winner: Joe Hendry

Frankie Kazarian & Chris Sabin vs. The Most Professional Wrestling Gods (Brian Myers & Moose)

The match begins with Myers backing Kazarian into the corner before eating a few arm drags, Kazarian holds Myers down while working over his arm. Myers gets free and Kazarian rolls him up for a near fall, Kazarian keeps Myers down while again working over his arm. Sabin tags in and he works with Kazarian to double team Myers for a near fall, Moose tags in and Sabin drops him with an arm drag after a brief exchange. Sabin gets Moose in a headlock and Moose quickly gets free before eating a few strikes, Moose recovers and he levels Sabin with a drop kick. Sabin fights back and he drops Moose with a rana, Kazarian hits the ring and he works with Sabin to hit Moose with a double suplex, Kazarian then hits a downed Moose with a springboard leg drop so Sabin can get a near fall on him. Moose fights back and he nails Sabin with an atomic drop, Myers tags in and Sabin traps him in the corner before Moose interferes. Kazarian interferes and he stomps on a downed Myers before Moose hits the ring, Sabin and Kazarian then send Moose balls first into the head of Myers.

Moose gets angry and a four way brawl breaks out in the ring, Sabin then drops Myers with a boot to the face for a near fall. Moose makes a blind tag and he nails Sabin with a boot to the face, Moose mounts a downed Sabin before landing a bunch of strikes. Myers tags back in and he chokes Sabin with his shirt, Myers keeps Sabin down while applying a chin lock to him. Sabin gets free after nailing Myers with a jaw breaker, Myers recovers to quickly drop Sabin and then tagging Moose in. Moose drops Sabin after raking his eyes, Sabin fights back and he nails Moose with an enziguri. Sabin looks for a tag and Myers attacks Kazarian to prevent it from happening, Moose drops Sabin with a hard Irish whip into the corner. Sabin fights back again and he nails Moose with a tornado DDT, Kazarian tags in alongside Myers and Kazarian quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Kazarian then hits Myers with a slingshot cutter for a near fall, Moose tries getting back into the ring and Kazarian nails him with a leg drop. Kazarian then nails Myers with a slingshot DDT for a near fall, Sabin tags back in and he double teams Myers alongside Kazarian.

Sabin then nails Myers with a springboard head kick for a near fall, Moose tags in and Sabin nails him with a few strikes. Moose drops Sabin after landing a springboard cross body, Moose looks for a spear and Sabin counters with a few roll ups for a few near falls. Everybody from both teams hit the ring and they all take each other out, Kazarian eventually drops a leaping Moose with a cutter. Kazarian knocks Moose out of the ring after landing a back stabber, Moose then catches a leaping Kazarian and he power bombs him onto the ring post. Myers then hits Sabin with a spear on the ring apron, Myers gets Kazarian back in the ring and Moose eventually nails Kazarian with a spear from out of nowhere for a three count.

Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Championship: Deonna Purrazzo Can No Longer Challenge Trinity If She Loses Tonight
Special Guest Ref: Gail Kim - Trinity (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo

The match begins with neither competitor gaining an edge on the initial lock ups, Purrazzo goes after the arm of Trinity and Trinity counters by going after her arm. Purrazzo trips up Trinity while going after her leg, Trinity gets free and she kicks Purrazzo away from her. Purrazzo gets Trinity back in a headlock and Trinity gets free before exchanging arm drags with Purrazzo, Purrazzo gets Trinity back down while also getting her in a head scissors for a short time, Trinity sets up for Starstruck and Purrazzo gets out of the ring. Purrazzo returns to the ring to back Trinity into the corner and land some strikes, Trinity drops Purrazzo before landing a sliding lariat followed by a slap. Trinity then hits Purrazzo with a split leg drop for a near fall, Trinity keeps Purrazzo down while working over her arm. Purrazzo gets free and Trinity goes to the ring apron, Purrazzo uses a drop kick to knock Trinity to the arena floor. Trinity gets back in the ring and Purrazzo stomps away on her, Purrazzo then snaps the arm of Trinity for a near fall. Purrazzo traps the arm of Trinity in the ropes while working it over further, Purrazzo follows up by sending Trinity shoulder first into the mat below.

Purrazzo keeps Trinity down while continuing to attack her injured arm, Trinity fights back and she manages to hit Purrazzo with a stunner for a near fall. Trinity stands Purrazzo back up and Purrazzo drops her with a back elbow strike, Purrazzo keeps Trinity down while continuing to work over her injured arm. Purrazzo drops Trinity before landing multiple knee drops to her back, Purrazzo keeps Trinity down while working over her arm again. Trinity gets free and she sends a charging Purrazzo into the ring post, Purrazzo gets up and Trinity hits her with a drop kick followed by a bulldog. Trinity then hits Purrazzo with a multitude of short arm clotheslines, Trinity also hits Purrazzo with a Rear View for a near fall. Purrazzo avoids another bulldog from Trinity and Trinity decides to go to the top rope, Purrazzo avoids a leap from Trinity before kicking her in the head for a near fall. Trinity recovers and she hits Purrazzo with a Samoan drop for a near fall, Trinity looks for a rope assisted piledriver and Purrazzo defends before applying a Fujiwara arm bar to her. Trinity manages to get to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Purrazzo looks for the Queen’s Gambit and Trinity defends before a striking exchange breaks out.

Trinity ends the exchange by hitting Purrazzo with a reverse DDT for a near fall, Trinity sets up for a head scissors and Purrazzo kicks at her injured arm. Purrazzo then hits Trinity with a Queen’s Gambit for a near fall, Purrazzo gets up and she argues with Gail Kim. Trinity recovers and she nails Purrazzo with a head kick, Trinity locks Purrazzo in the Starstruck and Purrazzo counters with a roll up for a near fall. Trinity manages to reapply Starstruck to Purrazzo and Purrazzo taps out.

Winner: Trinity, still your Impact Wrestling Knockouts World Champion

After the match, Deonna Purrazzo attacks Trinity and Gail Kim makes the save.

Will Ospreay vs. Eddie Edwards

The match begins with Edwards backing Ospreay into the ropes before landing a chop, Ospreay backs Edwards into the ropes before letting him go free. Edwards then hits Ospreay with a shoulder tackle followed by more chops, Ospreay recovers and he drops Edwards with a rana. Ospreay traps Edwards in the corner while landing more strikes, Ospreay then hits Edwards with a slam followed by a knee drop for a near fall. Edwards fights back and he nails Ospreay with some more chops, Edwards then hits Ospreay with an atomic drop followed by an overhead belly to belly suplex. Edwards traps Ospreay in the corner before attacking him with some more strikes, Ospreay fights back and Edwards drops him with a knee to the midsection. Edwards follows up by hitting Ospreay with a suplex for multiple near falls afterwards, Edwards keeps Ospreay down while applying a chin lock to him. Ospreay tries fighting back and Edwards nails him with a headbutt, Ospreay fights back and he drops Edwards with a handspring head kick. Ospreay follows up by nailing Edwards with a springboard forearm strike for a near fall, Ospreay then drops Edwards on the top rope before booting him right in the face.

Edwards leaves the ring and Ospreay takes him out with a dive, Ospreay gets Edwards back in the ring before landing a top rope forearm strike to the back of his head. Ospreay sets up for the Hidden Blade and Edwards leaves the ring, Ospreay goes after Edwards and Edwards backs him into the edge of the ring. Edwards gets Ospreay back into the ring and he lands an enziguri afterwards, Edwards then hits Ospreay with a backpack stunner for a near fall. Ospreay tries getting back up while Edwards nails him with more chops, Ospreay fights back and he nails Edwards with strikes of his own. Ospreay follows up by nailing Edwards with an enziguri, Ospreay follows up by hitting Edwards with stun dog millionaire. Ospreay traps Edwards in the corner before landing a head kick followed by the Cheeky Nandos, Ospreay goes to the top rope and Edwards crotches him before following him up there. Ospreay knocks Edwards off the ropes before missing his leap off, Ospreay still manages to hit Edwards with a standing Spanish fly. Ospreay then hits Edwards with multiple head kicks and the Os Cutter for another near fall, Ospreay looks for the Storm Breaker and Edwards defends before eating a hook kick.

Edwards fights back and he hits Ospreay with a blue thunder bomb, Ospreay gets up to land a Hidden Blade before Edwards lands a Boston Knee Party. Ospreay and Edwards have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ospreay ends the exchange by hitting Edwards with a hook kick. Edwards recovers to hit Ospreay with a clothesline followed by a tiger driver for a near fall, Edwards goes for another Boston Knee Party and Ospreay counters with a Hidden Blade for a near fall. Ospreay then hits Edwards with a Styles Clash for another near fall, Ospreay follows up with a Hidden Blade followed by Storm Breaker for a three count.
