RODDY PIPER'S 'THEY LIVE' SCREENING IN LONG ISLAND, NY THIS WEEKEND, RSVLTS RELEASES FOUR 'THEY LIVE' SHIRT DESIGNS

The Cinema Arts Center in Long Island will be screening the late Roddy Piper's film They Live on Saturday 11/11 at 9:30 PM.  The film stars Piper as John Nada, a homeless construction worker who stumbles upon the truth that aliens have taken over and enslaved mankind.  Directed by John Carpenter and co-starring Keith David and Meg Foster, They Live opened at the top of the box office when it was released in November 1988, garnering $13,008,928 domestically over its four week run.  That would be the equivalent of $33,551,487.85 in 2023.  The fight scene between Piper and Keith David is often celebrated as one of the best movie fight sequences of all time.  If haven't seen the film, it's worth seeing.
