Hollywood screenwriter and Producer Edward Ricourt, who wrote Raising Dion and both films in the Now You See Me franchise, took to his Instagram to praise the WWE Superfan - The Story of Vladimir documentary:
"Back in the early days of WWE. The days of Hulkamania, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Sargent Slaughter, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, I went to wrestling matches every month at Madison Square Garden. I’d sit out all night for front row tickets. That’s where I met Vladimir. We became friends. As I moved on from wrestling, Vladimir kept going. Always in the front row. He became a legend. A Superfan. Now his story is on Peacock. It breaks my heart to see what happened to an old friend, but happy he is finally getting his flowers for his singular devotion to wrestling. Check it out if you can. #superfan"
