10/26 NJPW SUPER TAG LEAGUE RESULTS FROM SAITAMA, JAPAN

10/26/23 Results from New Japan's Super Jr. Tag League 2023 From Saitama, Japan:

1 - Tomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe vs. Oskar Leube and Yuto Nakashima. 

Makabe pins Nakashima after a King Kong Knee Drop.

2 - Ren Narita and Shota Umino vs. Callum Newman and Great O-Khan. 

Umino forces Newman to tap out to an STF.

Callum Newman is a good wrestler.  I hope he gets a chance to showcase his skills in a tournament like the New Japan Cup or G1 Climax.

3 - Toru Yano, YOSHI-HASHI and Tomohiro Ishii vs. Dick Togo, Yujiro Takahashi and EVIL.

 YOSHI-HASHI forces Togo to submit to the Butterfly Lock.

Super Jr. Tag League 2023 Matches:

4 - Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA vs. The DKC and Ryusuke Taguchi

KUSHIDA forces DKC to tap to the Hoverboard Lock.

Jetsetters earn 2 points, with 6 points total.

Taguchi and DKC remain at 4 points.

5 - TAKA Michinoku and DOUKI vs. Francesco Akira and TJP

TJP has his neck and shoulder blades taped up.  He is selling the injured neck with every move.  

Akira hits Speedfire on TAKA, who kicks out at 2.   Catch 22 hitsTAKA with 2X2.

Akira pins TAKA.

Catch 22 earns 2 points, with 4 points total.

Just 5 Guys remain at 0 points.

6 - MUSASHI and YOH vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru and SHO

Match with crazy shenanigans.  EVIL, Togo and Yujiro get involved.   YOH takes Kanemaru's whiskey bottle and takes a swig.   YOH kisses SHO and spits the whiskey into his mouth.   SHO falls out of the ring looking sick.   SHO and MUSASHI go for a double team move off the top rope.   Kanemuru pushes YOH into MUSASHI who bumps off the top rope.   

Kanemaru pins YOH with a school boy roll up with the handful of tights.

House of Torture earn 2 points, with 6 points total.

MUSASHI and YOH remain at 4 points.

  7 - Titan and BUSHI vs. Drilla Moloney and Clark Conners

Tetsuya Naito comes to the ring with Titan and BUSHI.  

War Dogs hits Full Clip on BUSHI.   

Conners pins BUSHI.

War Dogs earn  2 points, with 6 points total.

BUSHI and Titan have 2 points.

8 - Master Wato and El Desperado vs. Kosei Fujita and Robbie Eagles

This was a good match.  Wato and Desperado seemed to be working in sync.  

Desperado pins Fujita after a big Pinche Loco.

Wato and Desperado earn 2 points, with 6 points total.

Team TMDK remains at 2 points.

After the match, Desperado addresses Eagles and Fujita.  He shoves Wato in the face and left the ring.   Wato takes the mic and thanks the fans.
