PWInsider.com reported several weeks ago that sources at InDemand had confirmed AEW had locked in a Saturday 12/30 PPV date.
Tonight on Dynamite, AEW announced that event will titled AEW Worlds End and it will take place in Uniondale, Long Island at the Nassau Coliseum.
This would be the AEW debut at that venue, which has hosted major WWE PPVs over the years as well as Jim Crockett Promotions PPV events in the 1980s. Traditionally, AEW have run the UBS Arena in Long Island. UBS is booked up that weekend with a New York Islanders game, a St. Johns vs. Hofstra University college basketball game and a Billy Joel New Year's Eve concert.
Since the PPV on Saturday, that would likely mean AEW Collision would be shifted that week to Friday 12/29. No word yet on where that taping would emanate from.
