ACTION Wrestling “Wanna Play A Game?”
10/20/2023 - Tyrone, GA
Dylan Hales and Mose are at commentary. Scott Hensley is your announcer. Matt Griffin is stalking the periphery to keep this show in order. It's Action's third show in 4 weeks and this is looking to be a good one...and look at this opener!
Match 1: Rachel Armstrong vs Billie Starkz
Billie Starkz is a big deal but Armstrong WON the Action Futures Tournament a few months ago, a thing that Space Jesus failed to do when she had her shot at the medal. But Starkz did beat Armstrong in the Wrestling Revolver Wiomen’s Grand Prix…so this could be a heck of an opener. Billie already picking the leg but Armstrong quickly squirming free. Dylan and Mose really comparing these two and pointing out that Armstrong is kind of where Billie was about a year ago and this could be her chance to really solidify her ascent. It is a rare day when Big Bill actually IS the big person in the ring. Armstrong grabs a headlock but Billiwe carries her over to the rope to break it. It’s all still smiles though…..and then Billie tosses her into the front row and into the apron. Is Bully Starkz coming out? Armstrong leverages Billy into a shot on the post. Suicide dive into Starkz! Billie throwing head kicks….she tries for the Swanton but Armstrong intercepts. Superplex!!! Billie muscles Armstrong up from the apron and hits a brain buster! Both on their knees trading forearms. Armstrong staggers Starkz but Billie super kicks her to the gut and blasts her out to the apron. Crowd is clearly split here. Armstrong catches her with a ddt right into the corner of the apron! Armstrong hits a code red into the corner!!! Razor thin two! Billy blocks a sliced bread…superkick….swanton bom….Armstrong gets the knees up! Armstrong hits sliced bread! Billie survives again! Armstrong to the top and hits a 450 for the clean three. That was fantastic.
Winner: Rachel Armstrong
Match 2: 1 Called Manders vs Kasey Owens
Manders seems to be taking on a rogue’s gallery of TWE folks this month. Kasey Owens made his ACTION debut a few weeks back against Bobby Flaco and this is a definite reward for Owens after showing out in that contest. THAT SAID< Owens seems to think that lighting up Manders with chops is a good idea…it’s not. Manders chases the kid down and tortures his chest. He goes for a post chop and hits it himself. This is Owen’s chance. He sticks Manders hand in the turnbuckle and just crushes it with a boot. Flying headbutt drops the cowboy but that hand is the target. No hand, no chop. No arm, no lariat. Manders throws a chop and instantly regrets it. The big tough cowboy is still gonna throw those. Dropkick to the knees! Corner clotheslines! Owens biting the hand after blocking a gut wrench. Manders hits a stampede for two! Kasey still fighting but Manders blasts his head off with that big cowboy lariat and the lights go out for the three.
WInner: Manders
Who is this? Alexander Lev. Who is Alexander Lev? Even Dylan and Mose seem confused. He says he’s very faithful. He wasn’t supposed to be here but he’s taking a spot here tonight and challenges anyone from the back to a match. Scott Hensley is confused but calls the contest as a real match. His opponent is body positive….Cody Fluffman?!?
Match 3: Alexander Lev vs Cody Fluffman
I know neither of these guys. The crowd already loves Fluffman. I think I do too. He’s got a steamroller move that reminds me a lot of Johnny C***strong. Leve looked like Barton Corbin’s surfer cousin. Fluffman is just big man power running the faithful guy over. Leve gets a few shots in but Fluffman smashes him with a sitout powerbomb for the win. This wa quick but this was a pretty delightful surprise contest.

Match 4: Squatting Dragons (Erron Wade & Kody Manhorn) vs Out of this World (BK Westbrook & Arik Royal)
I’m smiling. Arik Royal is more than happy to do Manhorn’s squats…..while he’s putting a beating on poor Kody. Wade with a kick to the head of the Acegawd….BK flapjack onto his own partner! Royal with a double suplex! BK whipping and slamming the heck out of Wade. BK is such an overconfident scumbag when he wants to be….he’s mocking Manhorn as Wade tries to fight to the tag. Westbrook ducks the tornado kick. Tag to Royal…let’s tag in and around and snap mare over and over. Wade with a quick rollup and almost steals it! BK setting Wade up for a Cosmic Kobe but he escapes and gets to Kody! Manhorn with a short spear through the ropes at OotW! He thinks he’s gonna deadlift Arik? No. Acegawd with the powerbomb! Wade makes the save! Tornado kick! Kody germans Westbrook!Royal goes for another bomb but Manhorn picks the leg and rolls up the Acegawd! He gets the three!!!!
Winners: Squatting Dragons
I love snapping them arm drags!#ACTIONGame pic.twitter.com/iijiDxT5nk
— Sensei (@erronwade) October 21, 2023
Out of this World attacks the Dragons after the bell. Ring it over and over. They pick up Cody for the Cosmic Kobe. Wade smashed too and the Dragons are left laying. CEO Matt Griffin hates s*** like this. This is actually the second time the Dragon have beaten OotW so maybe they are next in line for the Action Tag Titles? SPEAKING OF WHICH…
Match 5: The Good Hand (Suge D & Kevin Ryan w/ the Wall) vs Culture Inc (Eli Knight & Malik Bosede w/ Nick J Holilday)
Suge D enters the Action arena with gold for the first time, having won the Pan African World Diaspora Wrestling Championship last week and dethroning inaugural champion Trish Adora after a several year reign. Will he walk out with MORE gold tonight? Suge has the mic…he wants to make sure that everyone knows he is a PWI recognized world champion. He kept his promise to win that belt….and now he’s about to keep his promise to win this one. And then he promises Alex Kane will take the ACTION World Championship from Adam Priest. He says the champs might be for the culture….but Suge D IS the culture. This is the Good Hand’s second shot at these belts in a month, after their last attempt ended in a DQ loss. Good Hand trying to make this a handicap match early but the champs aren’t going down that easy. Malik ends up face to face with the Wall….who has yet to make his presence felt but….I’m sure he will. Knight with a great cross body into Ryan for a two count. FLoatover suplex for two. Malik make the poor decision to dive at Wall. Ryan keeps the ref distracted as Wall catches Bosede and slams him on the apron. Ryan with a splash for a close two. The tone of this match has changed and the crowd is getting worried they might see a title change. Suge D taunting Eli with a Nana-esque dance as he continues the beatdown on Bosede. “We hate Kevin” chants the crowd. Suge with a Y2J poe cover. This is getting into Eli’s head clearly. Saddle senton into a camel clutch variation. Knight has to run in to break up the pin. He’s clearly worried. Malik finally escape, enziguri to Ryan and gets the tag. Huge dropkick flurry to Suge! Flying clothesline! Top rope shotgun dropkick for two! Knight adjusts a moonsault to land on his feet but landed in the grasp of the Good Hand….Malik with the save….Double stomp, Dvd neck break to Suge. Is that it??? Suge kicks out!!! They go for it again….Kevin makes the save. Knight crotched on the top. Malik sent to the floor. Double Spanish fly to Knight??! Nuts! Eli kicks out!!! Malik trying to come back but Ryan cuts him off. Suge wraps his belt around his fist. Nick J tries to make the save….he comes the Wall….Swinging Uranage to Culture Inc’s Hypeman. The ref throws the Wall out of here! Nick deposited to the floor. Wall is protesting…Matt Griffin is keeping him coming back. Eli comes in swinging but Suge uppercuts him right in the crotch! We got a chair! Matt Sells is out here and blasts Suge with a chair across the back! He gets Culture Inc back into the ring….Suge eats a DVD….high angle moooonsault! Kevin Ryan makes the save!!!!! This was so close! Matt Sells is furious! Everyone tackling everyone. Ryan landing a pile of unprotected shots to the back of Knight’s head. Suge with a stealth chair shot on Eli in the ropes. Ryan is so good at distracting the ref. Eli to his knees and Ryan blasts a knee to the back of the head. The Good Hand gets the three!!!!
Winners: The Good Hand (new champs)

Suge gets the mic. It’s “I told ya so” time. There’s only one title left and Alex Kane is ready to take that too. People are mad? They don’t care. Good Hand up. Haters can bow down. I’m pretty stoked for this. But I’m biased AF. Sorry Matt. Intermission time.

Scott Hensley looks surprised to see Ashton Starr make his return to the ACTION arena as we come back from intermission! Starr says he is back, after having been on a spiritual journey and starting a fashion line. STARRWEAR. He introduces his personal assistant, Zamir. He says he is sponsoring one of tonight’s matches…specifically Rico Gonzalez vs Brogan Finlay. Starrwear is here!

Match 6: Devlyn Macabre vs Shazza McKenzie
I love this matchup. Also, I love that we have an Action show with more than one women’s match on it. That’s not a burn so much as being glad to see a women’s roster being built down there. The crowd loves Shazza. Devlyn confidently goes for a test of strength but Shazza quickly flips her down. Devlyn swinging for the fences but Shazza is ducking and tossing her opponent around. Springboard arm drag into a low dropkick for two. Shazza caught into the ropes and Devlyn just spike her dome into the mat for two. That was a sick spot. Corner hip attack and a running knee flattens the Heartbreakcore. Double knees into the ropes for two. Shazza with a quick slide out, trips up the lesser experienced Macabre and delivers a wicked kick. Shazza dodges a second double knee and Macabre crashes and burns. Devlin’s trapped for the ten chest kicks. High cross body for two! Devlyn with a quick reversal to a cutter for a near fall. Devlyn is starting to get mad at the ref for not counting the three. Shazza with a split legged stunner! Devlyn twitches but was that a two or a three?!? Shazza grabs the neck and cranks back and Devlyn has to tap. Shazza leaves victorious and Devlyn has a screaming fir in the center of the ring. This is not her night but she has nothing to be upset about in that performance.
Winner: Devlyn Macabre
Match 7: Rico Gonzalez vs Brogan Finlay (sponsored by STARRWEAR)
Bobby Flaco takes the commentary chair with Mose for this one. Rico and Brogan are 1-1 in their series and this is the tie breaker. These two aren’t feeling this one out. They are going RIGHT for it. Rico coming at Rico and the fight spills to the floor. Brogan slams Rico in the metal bleachers. I’ve sat on those bleachers. F*** THAT. Brogan is happy to try fr the count out. Rico definitely needs a little rest after that bump. Brogan’s aggression is turned to 11 as he drags Rico back out and tries to suplex him into the chairs. Rico with a tornado suplex into the front row. The chair moved and Brogan just eats concrete floor. Owwwwwwww. Brogan still alive and back in the ring. Rico hits a double stomp! Kick out! This is a way stiffer fight than I think anyone expected. They battle to the top and duck it out….and then knock each other right to the floor. They make it back in the nick of time. Back to the brawl! Brogan with a back elbow…Rico dodges a suplex and cracks Finlay in the head! Top Rock stomp to the apron? Brogan dodges and hits a DVD to the apron! Top rope elbow! Rico kicks out! Rico hits the top rope stomp to the apron! Brogan gets rolls in for the pin and the three! What a f***ing match! Watch this back. Rico and Brogan hug it out after.
Winner: Rico Gonzalez

Brogan’s got the mic. He talks about how he debuted in Action a little over two years ago. He talks about how he has got to wrestle his friends, like Bobby Flaco (who is still at commentary). He says though that this is his last match at ACTION. He thanks everyone who has been supporting him. But now it’s time to turn the page and go to the next chapter of his career. This was a cool moment. Where is Brogan headed? Flaco is off commentary and hugs it out with one of his best friends. The crowd gives Brogan all their love as he says goodbye to Tyrone. What a match to exit on. As for what’s next….we’ll see.
@Brogan_finlay announced that he just wrestled his last match @WrestleACTION1 & that it’s time to begin the next chapter

Main Event: Alex Kane (w/ Suge D, Kevin Ryan & The Wall) vs Adam Priest(c) (for the ACTION World Championship
This match isn’t for Kane’s MLW Championship. Will Kane complete the Good Hand’s clean sweet of ACTION’s gold? This is a pick ‘em. I’ve said before that I shouldn’t bet against ol’ Any Style but….does a 4 on 1 handicap match count as a “style”? Kane sends Priest right to the buckles but Priest shows that he is more than willing to lock up with the Suplex Assassin. Priest wants nothing to do with those suplexes and even draws first blood when he hits a German on Kane!!! Alex Kane is FURIOUS at this. The ACTION champ staying on his challenger, dodging the shot shots and landing shots where he can. Kevin Ryan dives into the ring when the ref isn’t looking….Priest gut punches him and tosses him into Suge. Priest dives out to the new ACTION tag champs! This proves enough of a distraction for Kane to recover and hits a belly to back suplex from the second rope! Kane with a X Plex and sends Priest flying into a terrible hard landing. Exploder suplex doubles up on those bad landings but Priest kicks out at two. Priest ranks out of a powerbomb….Kane kicks out of the cradle. Priest comes running and Kane snatches a sleeper hold on. Kane drags him to the mat and clenches down. Priest scrambling free but falls to a German. The choke is back. Kane is trying to win this clean. Priest is starting to fight back….he dodges and spear and Kane collides with the ref! Priest hits the DDT but the ref is down and out. Wall with a big boot lays out the champ! The Good Hand swarms the ring and hits a triple powerbomb on Priest. Kane stacks him up as Ryan throws in a new ref! Priest kicks out at two!!!! The fight to the apron…..Priest hits the ddt on the apron! The Jam off the top rope! This should be it but Suge D stomps out the ref! The bell is ringing but there’s no ref! Ryan holds Priest up for Suge to blast him with the belt………KRULE IS HERE!!! The Monster stalks out from the back with his “real world’s” IWTV Independent Wrestling Championship to face off with the Good Hand. He clotheslines the Wall out of the ring! Priest hits the ddt! Suge is left alone with Krule…..SCORCHED EARTH! Kane wants a piece but Krule KO’s him with a straight right hand. The crowd chanting for Krule! Priest thinks he’s safe but Krule chokeslams the champ!!! Krule regards the ACTION title….there’s a lot of gold in this ring…Krule is the last “man” standing as he holds the ACTION Championship up high. Priest may still be the champ but….he has a monster coming his way. Fade to black.
Winner: NO CONTEST

Another strong showing from ACTION. Lots of good story moments. Lots of good action. Like, every match did what it needed to and this was a blast to watch. Also, its’s worth noting that this felt like the tightest/best produced livestream that Action has had in several months. I know they swapped up their production setup in recent times so it’s good to see that improvement show over show as time goes on. But now we look to the krule krule future. This is going to be fun.
Despite the fact The Good Hand got beat down by @AtrocityKrule to end #ACTIONGame, this tyrant chased me down to make me honor his newly won title.
