10/12/23 - Worcester, MA

Spotlight Match: Paris Van Dale vs Nat Castle

Paris immediately bullying Castle at the bell. Latina Spice kicks her legs out and hits a senton. Tilt a whirl armbar and dropkick kick doesn’t put Paris away. She misses a double knee..Impaler ddt! Nat kicks out but PVD is all over her. She pulls her up on her hair owwww. Nat fires up with clotheslines, double knees into the second! Paris with a questionable hit blinds Nat and she spikes her with a sitout slam to end the newcomer’s night.

Winner: Paris Van Dale

Rich Palladino is on the announcer’s mic. Paul Crockett and Brother Greatness are at commentary. It’s Thursday. It’s Worcester. It might be an Insomnia Cookies night later? Let’s do this!

Match 1: Fresh Air (Junior Benito & Macrae Martin) vs Percy Ryan & Dante Drago

The jawline tandem has a rough night ahead of them against the next challengers for the IWTV tag titles. Fresh Air is just running over Percy until Dante cheats and drops Martin to the apron.  Dante can’t quite grok that this ISNT a title match? Percy with the tag and runs Junior off the apron. Martin with a rebound spin kick! Dante tags in just in time for Benito to springboard in with all the murder. Blue thunder bomb could end it but Percy is right there. Dante takes a swing, Martin with the Matrix dodge and back, Dante with the dodge but that leaves Percy to get clocked in his glass jaw. Dante eats a sitout facebuster cutter combo for the win. Percy is FURIOUS that his jaw was touched in such a way and yells at Drago all the way to the back.

Winners: Fresh Air

Pedro Dones is out here. He has words for Ray Jaz. Putting him through a door wasn’t enough to settle their feud. He promises to beat him alllllll over Worcester. But for tonight? He’s calling his shot on his opponent’s wrist.

Match 2: Pedro Dones vs DJ Powers

I’m not sure if DJ Powers actually has DJ powers but if he does have DJ powers then he certainly won’t after Pedro rips his wrist off. He gets a few shots off but this is mostly Dones taking this kid apart and sending him flying over and over. Powers with a knee to the gut and start laying into the midsection….Powers pulls Pedro’s top down and he exposes some taped up ribs on Dones. This is becoming a battle of attrition as Powers keeps landing on the abs. Pedro firing back, a headbutt spear, a short ddt and a double wrist lock forces DJ to tap right out. 

Winner: Pedro Dones

Match 3: Patrick Saint vs Landon Hale

Hale is giving up a LOT of size to Saint. Saint trying to toss Hale but Landon is being very quick on his feet. You can only dodge so many trains and Saint crashes him into the corner. This is MY hood now! Yells Saint. Hale getting chopped and slammed and back broken. These are bad back shots for the good doctor to be taking. He bends Landon back over his knee and tries for the submission. Landon with a dropkick to the knee! To the head! Slingshot cutter into the ring for two! Hale tries a German but eats a DOMINATOR! Landon out and shoots Saint into the corner. Running forearm to the back of the head. A springboard forearm to the back of the head. A huge German and a bridge ends the night for Patrick Saint! Landon Hale picks up his first win on the Open main card! What an adjustment in fortune for the good doctor! 

Winner: Landon Hale

It’s Ranch time and Steven Stetson is our hero with his new cow poke, Hammer Tunis. He has a little gift for “The Last Outlaw”…it’s a bull whip! ANNNNNNND…a match vs BRG next week! 

Match 4: Hammer Tunis vs CPA

Stetson is yelling at Tunis to drop the hammer. He attacks CPA while he’s taking his first shirt off! CPA comes back and almost hits Form 1099 but Tunis magically catches it out of nowhere. Right. Anyways. We REALLY hate the ranch. CPA tries to crunch some numbers but Tunis blasts a running forearm. He tries to toss CPA by the tie but it’s a clip on! Form 1099!!! Kick out! How????? Rip off another shirt! Tunis dodges the missile dropkick and hits a straight jacket ddt for the win! Boooooo Hissssss! 

Winner: Hammer Tunis 

The ranch f***s off and leaves CPA with the microphone. He apologizes that he came out and laid down yet again. He says he went away to figure some things out but tonight just proved that break time is over and maybe he should be doing something else? Boooooooo!

 Match 5: Big Business (Brick City & Brad Hollister w/ TJ Crawford) vs Dezmond Cole, Fancy Ryan Clancy & Ichiban

Our NEW Eliminator Cup champions are looking to ride their victory into another W over their rivals…but Chase is getting triple teamed and just embarrassed early. Business takes over on Boofa but we get into a six man suplex fight! Bis Business goes for the ride!!!! Bacon left laying but it’s a trap as they his Cole with a triple powerbomb! Boofa just getting beat to s*** as Big Business is just confidently pummeling him. Finally a tag to Ichiban! Springboard kick to the bricks! Bacon tosses Ichiban but misses the tag to Fancy. Clancy just unloading! Boofa with the swanton to the floor! Bacon with a superplex to Ichiban! Clancy trying to end things but TJ slips in a kick from the apron and Bacon hits the jackhammer for the win!

Winners: Big Business

 

Ichiban is left in a four on one fight with Big Business but IWTV champ Alec Price hits the ring to rally the troops and even the odds to send Bacon and crew packing. Price figures that since he’s out here….why not do the title match NOW?

Match 6: Alec Price(c) vs Marcus Mathers (for the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship)

After an intense staredown from the corners, this goes right into overdrive. Something like 15 pin attempts in the first minute. Marcus WANTS this and Price is a little surprised at how early he has to go to the well on this kid. Mathers working the back with kicks and repeated knee strikes. IF Price makes it out of here still champ, what shape will he be in for Brian Milonas tomorrow? Price with a jaw jacker gives him some breathing room to get to his feet and trade hands. One more time cause he’s trash? Marcus had that scouted…Price with a springboard tornado ddt! Cutter into the top rope! Marcus with a spinning head kick and rebound stunner! Kip up cutter for two!!!! Mathers is frustrated and starts yelling that this is His Time! Price and Mathers landing hard back and forth! Price with the knees! One more time! Blockbustah! A Spanish fly driver?!? I don’t quite know how to call that. Price misses the SuPrize kick! Marcus tries to put the champ to sleep! Sleeper suplex! Gotch style piledriver! Price kicks out! Mathers trying to pull Price up for the kill but the champ can barely stand. Mathers expends a lot of energy trying to get Price back up. Price firing up but Mathers catches him with a powerbomb! Alec with a rana off the top! Marcus dodges the SuPrize kick but runs right into a rebound lariat! Both guys are down hard as Brian Milonas hits the ring, picks up Price and starts laying shots to the mid section as the ref calls for the bell!

Winner: No Contest

Brian lays Marcus out with a uranage and chokeslams Price into him. Kingpin with the microphone….tomorrow night, he says he will fulfill his destiny. 

Match 7: Rex Lawless (w/ RJ Rude) vs Tyree Taylor (w/ Brother Greatness) 

Lawless attacks right away. RJ chases Greatness right out the Fire door! This might be a fair fight! Rex with a spear turns Tyree inside out for two! Big boot! Kick out! Tyree with a uranage! This is a meat match! Hard kick to the ribs! RJ cheering his big friend on but Taylor is still swinging hard. RJ Rude still has Tyree’s big chain around his neck. Taylor is just leaving Rex limp after everyone kick and can’t help talking smack to Rude. Rex runs him to the buckles! Decks with rights! Big boot! Cannonball! Kick out! Rex misses a dropkick and turns into a spinning lariat! Tyree trying for a powerbomb…Rex turns it into a Code Red! Holy shiiiiiii—a Code Rex??? Brother Greatness is back just in time to distract the ref, allowing for Tyree to take the end and hit the Brooklyn Zoo bomb for the win! This is the kind of match that had the crowd chanting “MEAT!”

Winner: Tyree Taylor

RJ drops the chain and dives right out to the floor on Taylor and BG. RJ swears that he will be Tyree’s nightmare until he realizes just how tough and crazy he is. 

Main Event: Miracle Generation (Kylon King & Dustin Waller)(c) vs Swipe Right (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor)

Man, this is gonna be a derisive match in Worcester. There are some people here who LOVE Smokes and especially Baylor. Ricky goes right for the eyes of Waller and takes a shot at Kylon while he’s at it. Dustin with that great pose as Kylon flies it to wipe out Baylor. Kylon with a suicide dive through Dustin’s legs to the front row! Mizline to Smokes and Kylon takes over. Huge body toss sends Smokes to the tag. Baylor tries to showboat with a chop but King has a LOT of those in the chamber. Miracle Generation with a huge combo of slams And sentons on Baylor. Smokes in but Dustin sending him for the ride. Baylor with the distract, Smokes sends Waller to the floor and Brad posts him in a chaotic quick distraction on the ref. Very slick. Dustin getting beat down through multiple pin attempts. Brad and Smokes really showing that they COULD take these titles tonight. Doomsday dropkick powerbomb! Dustin with a boot to Brad! Rana and ddt to Smokes! Kylon begging for the tag! King running wild! Slams and dropkicks for everyone! Rolling German for two on Baylor! Smokes breaks it up! Waller with a double crossbody back into the ring! Smokes with a double dodge on dives. Swipe right unloading rights on Waller! Smokes hits a stampede style cutter for two!!! Waller with a kick to Baylor and drops Smokes with a ddt! King calls for the brain buster but Baylor hits a twisting slam! Spear from Smokes! Did they just pull this off??? Dustin breaks it up!!! Handspring cutter! Baylor with a snap powerslam! Tornado ddt into a brain bustah! Smokes comes crashing in and everyone’s down! Smokes and Waller trading hands. It’s really broken down into a brawl! Down to Kylon and Smokes trying for quick pins! Kylon with a roll through and catches Smokes for the three! Fantastic match!

Winners: Miracle Generation

Swipe Right doesn’t like losing and just ambushes MG right after the bell. Fresh Air hits the ring to run off Baylor and Smokes and save their opponents for tomorrow night…so they at least make it to the match! Fresh Air holds the belts for a moment as MG gets to their feet. It’s a tense moment but Martin says if they are taking these titles…it will be TOMORROW. Both teams shake hands but you can tell there’s tension in this competition.
