10/14 AEW COLLISION REPORT

It is Saturday and AEW Collision Is live at the Huntington Center in Toledo, OH.  Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone, Kevin Kelly, and Nigel McGuinness. 

No promos to start the show, instead Adam Copeland comes to the ring. He says it is raining, nasty and cold, so it’s gonna be hot in the arena. He says he will be addressing what Christian Cage has to say, but we get Christian Cage, NIck Wayne, Luchasaurus, and security. He also has a man in a light brown suit. They stand between Adam and Cage. Cage says Adam has a lot of nerve and proved his point. 

Cage says the security is for Adam’s protection, not his. Cage tells him to hit the bricks because he has a main event to prepare for. He tells Adam to leave AEW, that he had the Blackpool Combat Club escorted from the building and he is the best wrestler in the world. 

Bryan Danielson comes to the ring and says Luchassaurus and Nick Wayne are banned from ringside. 

Then we get Ricky Starks and Big Bill. He says he is tired of those people taking up his time. Starks and Adam have words and he challenges him and Bryan.  

This brings out FTR. 

Cash Wheeler says 7 days ago they had the option to not defend their titles last week due to medical concerns. He says they may have the titles, but they aren’t the best tag team in the world, because that is FTR. Dax Harwood says they were better than FTR one night only, and he says Saturday Night’s alright for a fight. 

Bryan asks for Cage to fight him right now.

Security attacks FTR, Adam and Bryan as Cage, Starks and Bill leave. Bryan puts a security guard in the crossface as he stares at Cage.

We then get a video package of MJF at a Stand Up To Jewish Hate event with NFL players.

Samoa Joe (Ring of Honor TV Champion) vs Willie Mack

They lock up and quickly move to wrist locks and break. They lock up again and Mack grabs a side headlock. Joe shoots him off and they collide with no one moving. Mack tries again and Joe doesn’t budge. Joe comes off the ropes into a big boot, and then Joe comes off the ropes again and steamrolls Mack down. Joe beats Mack down in the corner. Mack is able to get an arm drag followed by a drop kick, and Joe bails to the outside. Maerk leaps onto  Joe and the floor and we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Mack is laying in chops in the corner, but Joe grabs him by the head to stop him and shove him back. Joe then fights his way out of the corner and Mack gets a pair of charges into Joe in the corner. Mack hits a cannonball in the corner. Mack drags Joe out of the corner for two. Joe and Mack throw hands in the corner. Joe gets a Manhattan drop, a big boot, and a Senton for two. Joe gets a power slam for two. Joe hits a series of blows and Mack grabs a stunner for two. Mack goes to the top, but Joe catches him and hits the muscle buster for the pin and the win.

Lexi Nair is with CJ Perry and asks what she would say to her future clients. She says if you have gotten angry when you don’t have the spot you think you should, she's here to help you and she feels the same way. Action Andretti shows and says he could use her services.

We get a Danhausen promo that is taken from Halloween 3. 

Juice Robinson w/Bullet Club Gold vs Christopher Daniels

They lock up and Juice forces them back into the corner. Daniels chases Juice across the ring when they break and Juice bails to the outside. When Juice returns to the ring, he tosses his shirt and Daniels, and Daniels gets a series of arm drags. Daniels holds Juice down with a side headlock. They work to their feet, Juice rockets Daniels into the ropes. Juice tosses Daniels out of the ring and Bullet Club Gold attacks him while the ref is distracted by Juice. 

Daniels is rolled back into the ring and Juice hits a back elbow and we go picture in picture. When we return to full screen, Juice hits a series of jabs, the Left Hand of God, and a Senton for two. Juice tries for a suplex and Daniels reverses it for two. Daniels then hits a STO. Dainels gets a clothesline, runs the ropes and hits another STO. 

Daniels hits a high angle slam for two. Daniels calls for Angel's Wings, and Juice is able to nail Daniels with a left hand, then a cannonball, and the Juice is Loose for the pin and the win.

Winner: Juice Robinson

Jay White shows he has a version of a Dynamite Diamond, he gives it to Juice and Juice hits the Left Hand Of God on Daniels with the ring. 

Juice says he’s been knocking people like MJF out for years. He says the ring is a $25 ring from TJ Maxx, and it’s trash. And when he wins the Dynamite Diamond, they will go to the pawn shop and pawn it off for a vacay. 

Jay White says he brought this on himself by attacking him with a goon squad. 

We get a video from Dustin Rhodes and how he is coming for the Dynamite Diamond and then the AEW Heavyweight title.

Lexi is with Nick Wayne and asks about the sit down interview he will have with Jim Ross and his mom on Dynamite. He says he doesn’t think he needs to explain himself again, but he will. 

Kyle Fletcher vs the Already In The Ring Boulder

Guess Boulder being rebranded as part of the Iron Savages hasn’t done much. 

Builder tries to slam Fletcher, but Fletcher escapes out the back and then gets a series of forearms. He charges on Boulder who gorilla presses and slams him. Fletcher dodges a charge from Boulder and gives him a kick to knock him out of the ring. Fletcher then dives into Boulder. They return to the ring and Fletcher charges into him in the corner. Fletcher goes to slam Boulder, but Bounder reverses it and calls for the moonsault. Fletcher meets him in the corner and pulls him out of the corner for a slam. Fletcher hits a kick to Boulder’s back and locks in the dragon sleeper and Boulder goes out.

Winner: Kyle Fletcher

In the back Renee Paquette is with the Acclaimed and congratulates them for defending the titles three times in a week. Max Caster hopes MJF sees how good they are doing., and Billy Gunn stops him. Anthony Bowens says he and Gunn will teach him how to make friends. Max then asks Renee about her Oral Sessions, and she calls him an idiot and leaves.

Matt Menard, Angelo Parker and Danial Garcia challenge them for the titles in Memphis. 

Kris Statlander (TBS Champion) vs Skye Blue 

The announcers put over the Skye Blue’s attitude has darkened since having the black mist sprayed in her face by Juila Hart

They lock up and Blue is able to force them into the corner. They break clean and lock up again, and Statlander gets a side headlock takedown. They work to their feet, Statlander gets another side headlock takeover, Blue escapes with a head scissors and the break. Bleu tries for a wheelbarrow takedown, and Statlnder is able to block it and gets another side headlock takeover followed by a shoulder block and a scoop slam. 

Blue gets a flying head scissors takedown and follows with an attempt at a side headlock takeover and Statlonder blocks it and is able to charge into Bleu in the corner. Blue escapes the second charge and gets a neckbreaker in the ropes as we go picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Statlnders gets a slam but Blue gets in a spinning kick. Statlander gets a leg sweep and then gets a charge in the corner followed by a blue thunder bomb for two. Statlander tries for Saturday Night Fever, but Blue escapes. Statlander blocks a kick and Blue hits a spinning DDT for two. Blue goes to the top but Statlnader meets her there, Blue is able to escape out the bottom for a power bomb. 

Bleu goes back to the top and tries for a crossbody, Statlander catches her for a power bomb. They throw forearms on their knees and then to their feet and Statlnder runs into the thrust kick, a high knee and when she tries for a insigiri Statlander grabs her. Blue escapes and hits another high knee and follows with a drop kick. Blue tries for a head scissors takedown and Statlander turns it into Saturday Night Fever for the pin and the win.

Winner and still TBS Champion: Kris Statlnder

Statlnder goes to help Blue up and Blue wants no part of it. Willow Nightingale comes down and helps Blue instead.

Kyle Fletcher has asked for time and he wants a match with Kenny Omega to prove he is one of the best.

We get a video from Rush where he explains what you need to be ingobernable, and he and his team are coming back.

Keith Lee vs the Already In The Ring Turbo Floyd

Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty are watching in the back. 

Lee conducts the crowd and Bloyd gives him a pair of kicks to stop. Floyd sets up for a DDT and Lee reverses it, hits the pounce and a power bomb for the pin and the win.

Winner: Keith Lee

Miro says he knows what will happen when his wife is here. She will be more vicious, more angry, until there is nothing left of her unless he kills it off at every turn. He is willing to destroy every man to protect one woman.

Christian Cage (TNT Champion) vs Bryan Danielson

JIm Ross joins Commentary. The Blackpool Combat Club, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne are banned from ringside.

Cage waits in the corner after the bell rings and takes his time before locking up. Cage turns the lockup into an arm drag. They then get a greco roman knuckle lock, and Bryan sweeps the leg and Cage backs out. Cage gets a headlock takeover, and Bryan rolls him onto his back for two twice. Bryan works to his feet and shoots Cage into the ropes, where Cage gets a shoulder tackle. Cage gets another headlock takeover and Bryan turns it into a headscissor. Cage gets to the ropes for the break.

They lock up and then run the ropes. Bryan gets abn arm drag and tries for an arm bar and Cage rolls out of the ring as we go to picture in picture. When we return to full screen, Bryan has a waistlock and Cage is able to reverse, and Bryan picks the leg and goes for the surfboard. Bryan lets him slide back into a cover for two. They go to the floor and brawl around the ring with Byran getting all of the office. 

Bryan rolls Cage back in the ring and gets a bow and arrow stretch. Cage is moved to a pin for two. They break and Cage pokes Bryan in the eye. Cage drops Bryan on his injured arm. Cage starts working on the arm. Bryan works out with kicks and Cage hits Bryan’s arm to break free. Bryan whips Cage into the turnbuckle chest first. Bryan goes for a dive, and Cage moves and Cage gets a two count. Cage goes back to working the arm. 

Bryan breaks free with head butts and then tosses Cage to the floor. Bryan tries for a dive and Cage nails him with a punch as Bryan dives. Bryan then tries to get a sunset flip from the apron but Cage holds onto the ropes. Bryan has to give up and Cage hits a pendulum kick on Bryan. Cage then shoves Bryan into the turnbuckles on the apron. Cage then hits a power slam on the apron and we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Bryan is fighting out of a side headlock and they go to the floor. Cage slams Bryan’s arm onto the announcer’s table. Twice. Bbryan is tossed into the ring and Cage puts Byron on the top. Cage joins him and calls for the crowd to cheer. They fight on the top and Bryan gets a series of head butts and Cage drops to the mat. Bryan hits a flying headbutt and Bryan is busted open. 

They struggle to their feet and throw head butts and strikes at each other. Bryan is able to get the running clothesline. Bryan gets a series of kicks and Cage rolls to the outside where Bryan dives into him. Cage is rolled into the ring and Bryan hits a flying knee from the top for two. Cage is able to get on the ropes and hits a kick and a diving sunset flip off the ropes, but Bryan rolls through. They move to the next corner and Bryan gets a psycho knee followed by an attempt at a hurricanrana, but Cage holds on the reverse it for two. 

Cage gets a poke to the eyes, a reverse neckbreaker and then hits a frog splash from the top for two. Cage sets up for the killswitch and Bryan is able to reverse it and hits the Yes kicks.Cage blocks the last kick and hits a reverse DDT. Cage goes for the spear and Bryan stops him with a kick and covers for two. Bryan calls to kick Cage’s head in and grabs the arms to do so. Bryan gets in his stomps. Bryan goes for the running knee and Cage hits a spear, followed with the killswitch for two.

Cage misses a spear and Bryan hits the psycho knee for two. Bryan quickly grabs a Labell lock. Cage makes it to the ropes for the break and Bryan puts the move on again. Because of the damage to his arm Bryan can’t lock it on. Big Bill shows and as he is distracting the ref, Ricky Starks nails Bryan with the belt and Cage is able to cover for the pin and the win.

Winner and still TNT Champion: Christian Cage

The Mogul Embassy shows up to attack Bryan. BTR hit the ring and joined in the fight. Luchasaurus and Adam Copeland rush the ring and it’s bedlam. Adam and FTR stand tall and Nick Waybne is left in the ring alone. Adam hits him with a spear and the music hits.
