TRADEMARK FILING FOR 'MEMPHIS WRESTLING' AND MORE MEMPHIS NOTES

Memphis Championship Wrestling, the promotion run by Dustin Starr, filed a trademark for the term "Memphis Wrestling" on 10/12 in the realms of:

-Hats; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.

-Entertainment in the nature of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes. 

Prince Nana will appear on the promotion's 10/29 TV taping.  Impact Wrestling's Eric Young and Josh Alexander will be working the promotion's 11/19 TV taping.

The promotion is building to their 12/10 Grind City Rumble event currently.

WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Valiant will be making an appearance for Championship Wrestling Memphis later this year as well.

Championship Wrestling from Memphis Wrestling airs Friday nights at 11 PM on  and Saturdays at 11 AM on Action News 5 Plus as well as 1 PM Saturdays on FITE.
