MLW FUSION REPORT: PREVIEWING SLAUGHTERHOUSE

We take a look at this weekend’s Slaughterhouse show from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

We will have a Chamber of Horrors match on Saturday night. 

We take a look at Mance Warner trying to build the Chamber of Horrors for the match.

Mance says he has been drinking so he needs some help to construct it.  He hopes Manders, Justice, and Jimmy show up soon.

Mance says he knows violence and pain and he knows how to destruct stuff.

We take a look at the World Title Match between Alex Kane and Davey Boy Smith Jr.

The feud began in March when they met.
Here is the full match report from the March 28, 2023 episode of MLW Underground.

Match Number Three:  Alex Kane (with Myron Reed, Mr. Thomas, and the rest of the BOMAYE Fight Club) versus Davey Boy Smith Jr. (with Mark Billington and Thomas Billington)

They lock up and go to a stalemate.  They lock up and Kane with a clean break but he pie faces Smith.  Smith takes out the mouthpiece.  They lock up and Smith with a side head lock.  Smith with a side head lock take down and Kane with a head scissors.  Smith with another side head lock take down and Kane with another head scissors and Smith escapes.  Smith offers his hand and pulls it back.  Kane with a kick to the knee and a front face lock as he sets for a suplex and Smith blocks it.

Smith with a delayed vertical suplex to Kane.  Smith goes over the top rope to the floor when Kane ducks.  Kane with a suicide dive and then he sends Smith into the guardrails.  Kane sends Smith into the guardrails again.  Kane with a waist lock and a German suplex on the floor.  Kane returns to the ring to break the count.  Kane returns to the floor and he hangs Smith ovver the edge of the apron.  Kane with a splash on the apron.  Kane returns to the ring and he connects with a forearm.  Kane with a t-bone suplex.  Kane pie faces Smith and Smith with a head butt to the midsection.  Kane with a kick.

Kane with an exploder to Smith and he gets a near fall.  Kane with forearms and he sends Smith into the turnbuckles.  Kane with a knee and he sends Smith into the turnbuckles a few more times but Smith sends his own head into the turnbuckles.  Kane with a German suplex and Smith pops up for a German suplex.  They continue the exchange until six suplexes were given in total.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kane with a forearm.  Smith fires back and they continue the exchange.  Smith with an uppercut and Kane with a knee.  Smith with a knee and a power slam for a near fall.  Smith sets for a neck breaker and hits it followed by a series of leg drops.  Smith goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a leg drop for a near fall.  Kane with a jaw breaker and a leaping flatliner.  Kane goes to the turnbuckles but Smith gets up and he connects with a head butt to the midsection and a running power slam.  Thomas gets on the apron to distract the referee while Smith sets up for a Sharpshooter.

Kane is handed a bottle and Kane sprays it in Smith’s face.  Kane with the Mark of Kane for the three count.

Winner:  Alex Kane

We go to commercial.

We are back with more from Mance Warner and the Second Gear Crew.

Mance is looking at a storage container but Justice says the paper work is in Japanese.

There was no barbed wire in the container and they try to deal with it.

We take a look at the next step in the rivalry between Davey Boy Smith Jr and Alex Kane.

We take a look at the No Ropes Match from the April 11, 2023 episode of MLW Underground.

Match Number Two:  Davey Boy Smith Jr. versus Alex Kane (with Mr. Thomas and Bomaye Fight Club) in a No Ropes Catch Wrestling Match

They lock up and Smith with a body scissors.  Kane with a waist lock and he rolls up Smith for a near fall.  Smith with a rollup for a near fall.  They lock up and Smith with a wrist lock and a straitjacket choke.  Kane grabs the leg and Smith takes Kane to the mat.  Smith goes to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Smith gets back into the ring.  They lock up and Smith with a side head lock take down.  Kane with a head scissors.  Smith escapes.  They lock up and Smith goes for a cross arm breaker but Kane with a rollup for a near fall and then he rakes the eyes.  Kane with a waist lock and a German suplex.  Kane holds on and hits  a second one.  Smith gets up and hits a German suplex and holds on for a second one.  Kane with a German suplex.  Smith with a German suplex. 

Kane with a forearm and Smith fires back.  They continue the exchange and we see the brawl continue in the back. 

Back to the match, Smith goes for a crossface but Kane with a rollup for a near fall.  Kane with an exploder and an Olympic slam for a near fall.  Kane with an ankle lock.  Smith rolls through and he grabs the ankle and reverses the hold.  Kane escapes and returns to the ankle lock and adds a grapevine of the leg.  Smith gets up and turns it into a Sharpshooter.  Thomas tries to help Kane and Smith releases the hold.  Smith kicks Thomas off the apron.  Kane grabs the bottle of fluid and sprays it a few feet over Smith’s head.  Smith with a rear naked choke and Kane passes out.

Winner:  Davey Boy Smith Jr.

We continue with a look at the Chamber of Horrors construction.

Manders and Justice arrive and they have the barbed wire. 

Mance says there is merchandise in there and no barbed wire.  Mance wants to know where is the barbed wire.

Manders says they have beer and the mountains are blue.

Mance says they can get drunk and then get some barbed wire.

They drive away to Pantera.

We take a look at Battle Riot when Alex Kane won his shot at the World Title by eliminating Davey Boy Smith Jr. last to get the victory.

We go to credits.
