NWA Powerrr Episode 129
It’s time for NWA Power, our commentary team is Joe Galli and Danny Dealz
We get a video setting up the NWA TV Title bout between Zicky Dice and Mims
Mims vs Zicky Dice for the NWA TV Title
They lock up and go to the ropes, and Dice nails Mims with a forearm. He whips him to the corner and keeps up the attack. He mounts Mims in the corner for 9 blows and a hip swivel. Mims is able to stay on his feet, comes off the ropes with a big clothesline, and then drops Dice with a back elbow. Mims goes for an atomic drop, but Dice escapes out the back and goes to the floor.
Dice tries to leave the arena, and Mims chases him and gets tossed into the ring post by Dice. Mims dodges a chop and Dice hits his hand on the post and is rolled into the ring. When Mims goes to get in the ring, Dick kicks the ropes for a low blow on Mims and then hits a neckbreaker on Mims from the second rope for a two count.
Mims tries to fight to his feet, and Dice drops him for two. Dice gets a waistlock and he and Mims switch a few times. Dice gets a side headlock and nails Mims with knees and gets a two count. Dice hits a snap mare and then locks on a rear chinlock. Mims turns and gets to his feet, nailing Dice with a headbutt. Dice catches Mims in a charge and slams him down for two. Dice pulls Mims up for another neckbreaker, and Mims escapes and hits a clothesline followed by a big slam for two.
Mims goes to grab Dice, and Dice grabs a small package for two. Dice then gets a rollup for two with a handful of tights. As Dice argues with the ref, Mims gets a surprise rollup for the pin and the win.
Winner and NEW NWA TV Champion: Mims
Sam Laterna is with EC3 and asks him about Kamille being in Thom Latimer’s corner at their match. EC3 says he wonders why Thom is not on top of any company he works for. EC3 says he came with a purpose and to bring Thom to the next level. The difference between him and Thom is that Thom’s soulmate is Kamille, and his is the NWA title.
The Southern 6 (Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) vs The Spectaculars (Rolando Freeman and Rush Freeman)
Kerry and Rolando start off and Kerry attacks during Rolando’s dance and Rolando grabs a side headlock. He then gets a head scissors takedown and tags in Rush. They whip Kerry into the ropes and Taylor gets the blind tag. Rolando is knocked out of the ring and Taylor stomps down Rush. They move to working over Rush in the corner with quick tags. Taylor then hits the Green Whistle (a F5 where the person is slammed in front instead of the side) for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Southern 6
Kyle Davis is joined in the ring by the Savages. Chris Silvio says that Jax Dane is NOT a member of the Savages. For two years he has told people how great Jax Dane is. He is now shocked that Dane turned out to be a coward. He had Tim Storm lying in a heap and he couldn't fire the single shot that would have put him back to the commentary table. He says that Bulletproof Troop is more of a Bad Man, and now Dane wants a match with Troop.
Chris says they will do it on their terms, it will be a submission match and Dane will tap, snap, or nap.
Dane says he was the stud in their group. He goes down his resume and he is the most decorated wrestler in the NWA. He will lock in trap city and make Troop trap like the bitch he is.
Troop says he will win, bang bang, lights out.
Dane mocks his catchphrase and Silvio holds Troop back.
Sam is with Vampiro and says that one of his people will have a match with one of Violent J’s people to determine the stipulation at their Samhain match between their teams. Vampiro gives a weird promo about magic and having been around since the dawn of time.
Sal the Pal vs Judias
Sal dodges a series of attacks by Judias who finally catches him and hits a reverse toss over his head. Judias then charges into Sal in the corner and beats him down there. Judias hits a vertical suplex and follows with a second one. Judias then hits a stalling vertical suplex, almost tossing Sal. Judias then charges into Sal in the corner, follows with a big boot, and hits a one arm slam.
Judias goes for a chokeslam, and Sal is able to grab his hand and bite his finger. Sal then hits a low dropkick and dodges an attack in the corner with another dropkick. Sal gets a pump kick and tries for a tiger feint kick and Judias chokeslams Sal on the apron and he falls to the floor. Judias sets Sal on the apron and chokes him with the ring skirt. Judias sets up for the crucifix bomb and Gaagz the Gimp gets in the ring to stop him and the ref calls the match.
Winner by DQ: Judias
Gaagz hits a low blow and up the ropes DDT before leaving the ring.
Sam is with Rolando and he’s humiliated by losing the match tonight. And he says his back is killing him for carrying Rush Freeman for the last few years. He is sick of Rush failing and failing and failing. He will be the special guest referee in a loser leaves town match between Rush Freeman and Brady Pierce.
Kyle is with Chris Adonis who mocks Thrillibilly Silas Mason and he will beat Silas and be the three time National Champion.
Daisy Kill & Talos (NWA US Tag Team Champions) vs The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana and KC Cazana).
AJ starts with Kill, and AJ gets a headlock and hammers Kill on the back. Talos tags in and AJ grabs the leg, but it does nothing. AJ gets a series of blows and Talos shoves him back into his corner and Kill tags in. AJ is able to hit a short arm clothesline and tags in KC, who leaps onto Kill’s arm.
Kill is able to grab a waistlock and gets a high slam on KC. KC gets a pair of arm drags and a dropkick when Kill is mocking AJ. AJ tags in and works over Kill’s arm and hits a slam and KC tags in, Kill and KC trade arm bars and KC gets a headlock takeover. Kill works to his feet and AJ gets tagged back in.
Kill pulls AJ’s hair as AJ tries to crank on the arm and turns it into a side headlock. Talos gets the blind tag and he hits a big boot on AJ. Talos works over AHJ in the corner and then hits a running charge on AJ. AJ is slammed into Kill’s outstretched boot and Kill then tags in. Kill and Talos hit a two-person slam for one. AJ fights his way up and Kill is able to tag in Talos. They whip AJ into the corner, then Talos whips Kill into AJ and follows up with a splash. Talos gets a lazy cover for one.
Talos whips AJ to the corner and then runs into a big boot from AJ, who gives Kill a jab as well before trying to get to his corner. Kill tags in and Talos pulls AJ back for tagging. AJ is whipped to the ropes and he is able to duck the clothesline, rams into Talos and tags in KC. KC is able to get a power slam on Kill for two. AJ is tagged in and KC holds Kill for AJ to hit a running clothesline, but Talos grabs AJ’s feet and pulls him out of the ring.
AJ is whipped into the ring post. Talos gets in the ring and Kill whips KC toward him and hits a chokeslam for the pin and the win.
Winners and still NWA US Tag Team Champions: Daisy Kill and Talos
As the credits are rolling, Kratos and Odinson get in the ring and want a shot at the titles. Talos and Daisy Kill accept.
Daisy Kill & Talos (NWA US Tag Team Champions) vs Kratos and Odinson
Kill is upset Talos accepted the match. Odinson hits a pair of charges into the corner on Kill, followed by a belly to belly suplex. Kratos tags in and hits a leaping punch in the corner on Kill after flipping off Talos. Kratos hits a German suplex that tosses Kill across the ring and Talos tags in.
Kratos gets in a series of blows and puts Talos on his shoulders. Kill breaks it up and Talos is knocked out of the ring. Kratos hits a wheelbarrow suplex on Kill. Kill and Talos get while the getting is good and they are counted out.
Winners via count out: Kratos and Odinson, but they do not get the titles on a count out.
