WOW - Women of Wrestling Season 2, Episode 4: The Deal Is Off

Our commentary team is David McLane and Steven Dickey

Last Call (Reina Del Rey and Wrecking Ball) vs Jennifer Flores and Stephy Slays

Flores and WB start and Flores grabs a side headlock and tries a takeover, but WB shoots her off into the turnbuckle. Flores dodges a charge, picks WBs legs and gets a quick two count. Slays tags in and then hit double elbows and Slays covers for two. WB is able to recover and drops Slays with an inverted pile driver. WB holds her in an inverted butterfly hold before tagging in Reina.

Reina holds Slays down, fish hooking her after licking her own fingers.

That is so gross.

Reina whips Slays into the corner and then puts her on her shoulders and drops her on the top turnbuckle like an electric chair. WB tags in and tries for a suplex, but Slays turns it into a DDT and tags in Flores. Flores gets a series of attacks with a jaw breaker, and then charging into the corner. Reina tags in and puts Flores on top and hits the front facing electric chair. WB tags in and they hit a Hart Attack for the pin and the win.

Winners: Last Call

We get a video update from last week where Chainsaw lost her mind after taking her first loss. Chainsaw tosses Foxxy Fierce through the wall.  The only thing that calmed her down was Holidead.

We get a video about Rebel Haze, who is rebelling against what women are expected to be and is a grunge guitarist.

This is your reminder that grunge is from 30 years ago. If you bought a Nirvana CD when it came out, you need to schedule your colonoscopy.

Holidead vs Rebel Haze

Fury from the Heavy Metal Sisters joins commentary.

They lock up and Haze is shoved down. Holidead and Haze yell at each other and lock up again. Haze gets a takedown and they both get up. Holidead misses a kick in the corner, and Haze is able to grab a pair of arm drags and follows with an elbow drop for two. Haze grabs a side headlock and cranks on it. Holidead shoots Haze off into the ropes, Haze shoves her back and Holidead comes off the ropes with a shoulder tackle. Holidead then hits the ground and pound.

Holidead hits a charging clothesline in the corner and then chokes Haze on the top rope with a leg. Haze is able to get a trip and an elbow drop for two. Haze tries for a suplex and Holidead reverses it and hits a leg drop, grabbing a rear chinlock. Haze fights her way free with elbows and gets a pair of clotheslines and a sling blade and hits the Jagged Little Pill, a senton, for a cover and a two count.

Haze tries a kick, but Holidead catches it to whip her down. Holidead hits a pile driver for the pin and the win.

Winners: Holidead

We then get video of David trying to get the title belt back from Lana Starr. Lana said that Penelope Pink wasn’t pinned or submitted. Lana says she will give it back if Pink gets a rematch. David says he can’t promise that as he takes the title from her.

In the back, Coach is upset with Ariel Sky for taking a call at the ring, even though Sky wondered if it could have been the missing Randi Rah Rah. BK Rhythm and Gigi Gianni show up and have snarky words for them. So, it’s gonna be a tag team match.

BK Rhythm and Gigi Gianni vs Coach Campanelli and Ariel Sky

BK and Coach start and Coach blows her whistle at BK, who bumps for it and tags in Gigi. Coach shoves Gigi into her corner and tags in Sky. Gigi is able to get a boot to the midsection and Sky is able to cartwheel into Gigi in the corner and then hits a leaping kick. Sky tries the cartwheel into the corner again, and Gigi is able to nail her with a kick. Gigi hits a back breaker for two.

Gigi clubs Sky down and then hits a series of shoulder thrusts in the corner. BK tags in and she hits a drop and then an elbow drop. BK and Gigi keep Sky in their corner with quick tags. Sky is finally able to get a flipping neckbreaker on BK and crawls to her corner for the tag.

Coach cleans house, and then she tags in Sky and they cover Gigi for two, with BK breaking it up. BK is tossed over the top and BK drags Coach out of the ring. Gigi gets a running power slam on Sky for the pin and the win.

Winners:  BK Rhythm and Gigi Gianni

We get a video about how Miami Sweet Heat have been trying to get their titles back since they lost them last season.

The Tonga Twins (Kaos and Kona) vs Miami Sweet Heat (Laurie and Lindsey Carlton) w/Lana Starr

Lana Starr joins commentary.

Lindsey starts with Kaos, they lock up and Kaos shoves Lindsey back into her own corner. Laurie tags in and is able to go behind and gets a pair of blows. Kaos gets a chop, and Laurie whips her into the ropes where Kona tags in. They hit stereo superkicks and Sweet Heat goes to the outside to regroup.

Laurie and Kona lock up and they go to the corner where each gets in offense. Kona is able to mount the turnbuckle for blows and then is able to get a hip attack. The Tonga Twins work Laurie over with quick tags. Lindsey gets in the ring when the Tonga are double teaming Laurie in the corner and they double team Kona and Lindsey goes for the pin, only getting two and the referee doesn’t seem to know she didn’t tag in.

Yes, I keep track of these things.  This is serious journalism, everyone.

Kaos tags in and Lindsey hits double knees to the face, Laurie hits an insigiri and Lindsey covers for two. It’s Kaos’s turn to get beaten down with quick tags in Sweet Heat’s corner. Finally, Kaos is able to get a belly to back suplex, and crawls to her corner. Kona and Laurie are both tagged in and Kona runs wild. The Tongas hit a double spear and Kona covers Lindsey, but Laurie is the legal woman in the match.

Oh NOW the ref is keeping track of who's legal.

Lindsey is tagged in. Kona hits a modified STO. Lindsey gets back up and Kona chops her back down. Kona comes off the second rope and Lindsey traps her in the body scissors and goes for a guillotine chokes. Kona powers up to her feet, and they grapple with each other, and we get a ref bump.

Serves him right for not keeping track of who’s legal earlier in the match.

Lana Starr runs to the ring and the Tonga Twins hit a Tonga Twist. Sophia Lopex and Las Bandidas attack Lana Starr.  They are followed by the Mother Truckers.

No winner: DQ for outside interference.
