AEW's Malakai Black did a live stream on his Instagram overnight. He noted that he's been out of action due to a small tear in his calf and a hyperextension of his knee but is fine and is almost ready to be back on the road performing. He also commented that a year ago, he posted a video about rehabbing a back issue and noted that he's 100% in that regard. He said that there's been speculation that he hadn't done singles matches as a way to protect his back, but stated that wasn't why and he believes it was just he was booked in six man tags to build to House of Black.
Brody King has also been out of action with a hand injury, which occured at All In: London.
Dustin Rhodes has not been at AEW TV of late, which we are told is due to him dealing with a tweaked knee.
Kenny Omega commented on Jade Cargill heading to WWE:
This may be news to a lot of fans out there, but when one wrestler goes from one company to another, we tend to always wish them the best and cheer for them while they embark on their new journey.Genuinely.
