SPEEDBALL VS. BREEZE, MOOSE, ADORA, HORUS & MORE: 9/24 PRESTIGE WRESTLING RESULTS FROM LOS ANGELES

9/24 Wrestling - The Respect Issue at the The Globe Theater in Los Angeles, CA

Sonico defeats Gregory Sharpe with a brain buster at 7 mins.

Johnnie Robbie defeats Shazza McKenzie. 

Weird finish. Might have been a wardrobe malfunction or injury as the match ended quickly.

Alan Angels defeats Travis Williams, Jordan Cruz & Diego Hill in 11:30.

Williams finishes off Hill but leaves the ring to allowing Angels to his Angels Wings to get the victory. Interesting… 

First time seeing Williams and Hill. Came away impressed by both. Angels is a huge heel in Prestige which is fun to see. Jordan Cruz (UWN) continues to deliver.

Moose defeats Galeno Del Mal with a spear in 7:35. Moose was not scheduled but is here to fight Galeno. A “slap that meat” chant breaks out.  Nice hoss fight.

Lee Moriarty taps out Jonathan Gresham in 16:50. Very good technical match. Crowd split between the two combatants.

Filthy Tom Lawlor taps out Vinnie Massaro. Fun match, crowd loves both wrestlers entrances and sing along with their theme songs (Kiss From A Rose by Seal & That’s Amorè by Dean Martin). First breadstick vs rose fencing bout I ever seems.

Titus Alexander defeats Rey Horus in 9:45

Trish Adora pins Shoko Nakajima in 9:50

Nakajima gets a very warm welcome. Trish Adora continues to impress. Would be great to see her get more ROH & AEW television time.

Speedball Mike Bailey defeats Breeze in 13:05 with a 405 knee stomp. Breeze looked good having not had many matches since he started back up. Spoke with him before the show and said he’s wrestled 4 or 5 times since leaving WWE. Bailey continues to have good matches at The Globe and has become a local favorite.

Match of the night was the fatal four way. Good crowd for a Sunday night during football season.
