WWE NXT Live House Show Results from Orlando, FL 9/23/23 at the Englewood Neighborhood Center.
Match 1) Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Javier Bernal and Luca Crusifino via an atomic drop following by a running big boot on Luca in about seven minutes.
Match 2) Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice defeated Fallon Henley and Kennedy Rae (Kennedy Cummins, former UNM cheerleader) when Elektra lifted Kennedy up, Lola hit a spin kick to Kennedy’s face, and Elektra slammed Kennedy to the mat for the win in about six minutes.
Match 3) Dragon Lee defeated Riley Osborne via Destino in about seven minutes.
Match 4) Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail defeated Stevie Turner and Jade Gentile (former soccer player) when Thea made Jade tap to the kimura in about seven minutes.
Myles Borne, Drew Gulak, and Damon Kemp came to the ring. Myles cut a promo insulting Gable Stevenson and his accomplishments saying things such as the audience all could have gold medals for being ugly. Gable Stevenson came to the ring and also had a face off with Damon Kemp before the match began.
Match 5) Gable Steveson defeated Myles Borne (with Drew Gulak and Damon Kemp) in about three minutes via a high angle powerbomb. Myles jumped Gable at the start of the match. Gable stared at Gulak from the ring after the match as well.
Match 6) Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson (with Noam Dar and Oro Mensah) defeated Lyra Valkyria and Kiyah Saint in about eight minutes via a bicycle kick from Lash on Kiyah. Oro and Noam caused a distraction with the referee.
Joe Gacy and Ava came to the ring with Ava talking about Joe about to face Trick Williams.
Match 7) Trick Williams defeated Joe Gacy (with Ava) via Cyclone Kick in about eight minutes.
There was a brief intermission.
Match 8) Nathan Frazer and Tyler Bate defeated Noam Dar and Oro Mensah (with Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) in about nine minutes. Nathan hit a spinning Neckbreaker out of a Suplex position on Oro while Tyler put Noam in the Airplane Spin for the win.
Match 9) Blair Davenport defeated Dani Palmer via Bea Trigger in about five minutes.
Match 10) Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey defeated Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont via a spinning forearm and a discuss clothesline from Mark and Joe respectively on Tyriek with Mark getting the pin. Wolfgang entered with the two of them but went to the back during the match. Wolfgang came back out to celebrate the win with Joe and Mark. Joe took the mic and said Wolfgang is facing Carmelo in the main event tonight but that Carmelo is too chicken to put the NXT title on the line. Carmelo Hayes comes out and says how if there is one thing he is not it is chicken. A brawl ensued with Wolfgang getting an upper hand on Carmelo to start the match.
Match 11) Carmelo Hayes defeated Wolfgang via Fadeaway DDT in about nine minutes. Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey stayed at ringside but got involved in the early minutes resulting in the referee sending them to the back. Toward the end, Wolfgang waved for the two of them to run back out. Joe distracted the referee while Mark tried to attack Carmelo but Carmelo laid them both out. Carmelo hit his rebound clothesline prior to the Fadeaway DDT for the win. After the match, Carmelo took a microphone and mentioned No Mercy next Saturday and asked the fans who thinks that he will slay the dragon and defeat Ilja. Carmelo agreed with the fans that cheered and led the crowd in a “we are NXT” to close the show.
