The Rey Fenix AEW International Championship win was not the planned finish tonight. They improvised on the fly after Moxley was hurt. I believe the original plan was Moxley retaining. One source said Moxley called for the new finish on the spot.

AEW had a little over 11,000 in attendance tonight at Grand Slam III in NYC at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Today's Grand Slam walkup ticket sales were the highest "day of event" ticket sales in AEW's history.
There are already early plans to return next year with the working idea of the Stadium being a PPV site.
