The XFL, the football league now owned by Dani Garcia and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is seeking to merge with another football league, the USFL, according to a report by Axios.com that states the two sides are in "advanced talks."
Axios' report claims the ongoing discussions would see a 50/50 merger between the two sides with broadcasts for the games for the merged league to split between FOX and Disney-owned outlets.
"We will not comment on rumors and speculation," the XFL said in an emailed statement to the outlet.
