MLW FUSION REPORT

Match Number One: TJ Crawford versus Ichiban

Ichiban has some words for TJ and TJ with a double thrust to the throat followed by punches to the midsection and a forearm. TJ with an Irish whip but Ichiban floats over and goes up top and hits a chop. Ichiban with an am drag and Japanese arm drag followed by a splash. Ichiban with punches in the corner. TJ pushes Ichiban off but he lands on his feet. Ichiban with a shot to the midsection followed by a back body drop and drop kick for a near fall.

Ichiban is sent to the apron and Ichiban with a kick. TJ has something in is eye and he has the referee check. That allows TJ to hit the ropes to crotch Ichiban. TJ with a running knee to the back and then he hits a splash and gets a near fall. TJ goes for a suplex but Ichiban blocks it. TJ with a knee to the midsection and he gets Ichiban up but Ichiban with a knee to block it. TJ with a butterfly slam for a near fall. TJ with a waist lock. Ichiban with a flying mare and jaw breaker. Ichiban sends TJ into the turnbuckles and follows with a forearm and cutter. Ichiban with a handspring elbow into the corner followed by a springboard drop kick. Ichiban with a back elbow and a cross body for a near fall.

TJ with a punch to the midsection followed by a suplex attempt but Ichiban with an inside cradle for a near fall. TJ with a round kick to the temple. TJ misses a back heel kick but connects with forearms. Ichiban with a jumping knee and a satellite DDT. Ichiban with a leaping flatliner for the three count.

Winner: Ichiban

After the match, someone in a hooded sweatshirt comes out to say something to TJ Crawford. Crawford leaves with this person.

We go to the Second Gear Crew with MicroMan as he prepares for his match against Sam Adonis.

Mance says they believe in MicroMan. He says they have his back against Sam Adonis. Mance says they will have some weapons for him. They talk about using chairs, doors, and a fork. Mance says they are going to celebrate after the match.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Sam Adonis and Sam Leterna. She asks him about what Adonis is thinking about. Adonis says tonight is the night. He says MicroMan is one of Mexico’s favorite sons, but everyone looks up to Adonis because he is Mexico’s top box office attraction. Adonis says he will teach the kid a lesson in humility because he likes him. He says MicroMan deserves more respect than being part of the Second Gear Crew. Luchadors know respect and Adonis will teach him about it.

Love Doug joins commentary for the next match.

Match Number Two: B3CCA versus Tiara James

They lock up and James with a side head lock and take down. B3CCA with a head scissors and James escapes and applies a side head lock. James with a cross body for a near fall. B3CCA with a kick and Irish whip but James floats over. James with a shoulder in the corner and a gutbuster over the shoulder for a near fall. James misses a splash and B3CCA sends James to the mat and follows with a missile drop kick for a near fall. B3CCA sends James into the turnbuckles and follows with an Irish whip and forearm in the corner. B3CCA with another Irish whip and she hits a bicycle kick in the corner. B3CCA with a suplex and then she struts. James with a rollup for a near fall. B3CCA with a punch and she sends James into the turnbuckles. James with a back elbow and a shoulder tackle or two. James with a flying clothesline.

James runs into a boot in the corner and then she hits a spinebuster for a near fall. James puts B3CCA on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex but B3CCA with forearms and a rake of the eyes to send James to the mat. B3CCA with a 450 splash for the three count.

Winner: B3CCA

We are told that Don King will be on next week’s show.

We go to commercial.

We are back with the Slaughterhouse Control Center.

Minoru Suzuki faces Jacob Fatu on October 14th.

Salina de la Renta is interrupted by Sam Leterna.

Salina says people say excuse me in the US, unlike in Canada. Sam tells Salina she isn’t Canadian. She asks Salina what has she done since Mexico.

Salina says she made a mistake dealing with a moron. Where is Cesar? Where are the luchadors? Look at what happened to Cesar, Johnny, and Taya. She will be dropping bombshells next week.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sam is with Jacob Fatu.

She mentions Jacob’s match against Suzuki and she asks how is he feeling. Jacob says he is ready for this. He says Suzuki better be ready for him. When have you seen him work someone in New Japan? They have been dodging him. He says he is coming live and direct for Suzuki.

Salina interrupts and says she remembers what he did to her at SuperFight 2019. She tells Jacob the receipts are coming.

Fatu says after four years, the queen is finally coming back.

He tells Suzuki the fans will be chanting his name before he even comes out.

Sam Adonis says you can try to hide but he is the best looking man in MLW. He says tonight, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission is not here because a mega mass homicide is going to happen. A six foot four inch American specimen has to face a 1.8 meter person from Mexico. He tells everyone to leave now. He says this is going to be an absolute massacre.

Match Number Three: Sam Adonis versus MicroMan

Sam gets on his knees to lock up and Sam sends Micro to the mat. They lock up again and Sam sends Micro to the mat a second time. They lock up and Sam with a leap frog and he celebrates. Micro bites Sam and trips him. Micro with a punch but Sam with a kick.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sam with a chop. Sam with another chop. Sam goes after the mask and the referee stops him. Sam misses an elbow drop and Micro with punches. Sam pushes Micro down. Sam with another chop and Sam goes to the floor. Sam gets a chair and throws it into the ring. Sam puts Micro in the chair and Sam returns to the mask. Sam with a punch and Micro falls off the chair to the mat. Micro with kicks to the ankles and a head butt to the groin. Micro drops Sam onto the chair and he connects with punches. Micro goes to the turnbuckles but misses a Vader Bomb. Micro with chops and an arm drag take down. Snisky pulls the referee from the ring.

The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: MicroMan (by disqualification)

After the match, Snisky backs MicroMan into the corner and MSL enters the ring. He tells Snisky to finish him. Snisky grabs MicroMan by the mask and Sam holds MicroMan again for a field goal kick but the music for the Second Gear Crew plays and they make their way to the ring.

Justice and Manders with a double shoulder tackle while Mance punches Adonis. Manders and Justice with chops to Sam. MicroMan goes up top and he hits a frog splash and Mance makes the count.

We go to World Champion Alex Kane and Mr. Thomas for the press conference.

Alex says word on the street is who’s next but everybody is backing down. Nobody wants this work. Nobody wants to fade to black. Tom Lawlor doesn’t check his email because he had a title match but ghosted MLW.

MSL shows up and asks if they are handing out title matches. MSL mentions that Davey Boy Smith Jr. won the Opera Cup again so he deserves a title match.

Alex says he choked out Davey already and he will do it again.

Alex with a flurry of BOMAYEs.

We see the Second Gear Crew and The Calling brawling in the back.

Jimmy Lloyd joins the fight as we go to credits.
