It’s time for NWA Powerrrr Episode 124.
Our commentary team is Joe Galli and Danny Dealz.
NWA is calling this a season premiere and the name of the episode is The New Era, Coming after the events of NWA 75. The equipment has been upgraded, and both Velvet Sky and Mia Valentine have left the company. The set looks 100% better.
They open the show talking about the new era, and then shows what matches will be on the show instead of starting with a match and then going into the opening.
Max the Impaler (NWA Women’s TV Champion) w/James Mitchell vs Taylor Rising
Taylor looks scared of Max and when they lock up, Max just shoves her down. Max knocks her down again instead of locking up, and then Max goes after Taylor in the corner. Taylor tries back away from Max, and when Max gets to her, Taylor’s blows do nothing. Max chokes Taylor against the second rope, breaking at 4. Mox tosses Taylor across the ring and then tosses her into the turnbuckle. Max drags Taylor to the middle of the ring and stomps her down.
Max grabs Taylor and bashes Taylor across the face. Taylor looks horrified before Max’s moves. Taylor is hoisted up and is able to escape out the back and gets in a gfew blows, a chop block and a snap rana for two. Taylor charges Max and Max grabs her and then Max hits a clothesline for the pin and the win.
Winner and still NWA Women’s TV Champion: Max the Impaler
Max clotheslines Taylor again. Natalia Markova shows and Max tosses Taylor at her.
James Mitchell announces the next NWA PPV, Samhain, on October 28th.
Aron Stevens and Blunt Force Trauma is with Kyle Davis and Aron says Kyle needs to go back to journalism school. He says they are the new NWA World Tag Team Champions. He says there is no controversy because all that matters is getting the pin and the win. Aron says they will do a live tape review.
He goes over the end of the match at NWA 75 and that Trevor Murdoch assaulted him (when Aron had attacked Trevor with the loaded glove).
The Immortals (Odinson and Kratos) vs The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum)
The Immortals start by beating down the Outrunners before the bell rings. Kratos works over Magnum as Odinson works over Floyd outside the ring at the same time. Odinson is tagged in and ends the attack with an Asgarian Uppercut for two. Kratos is tagged in and Odinson hefts him for a fireman’s carry and drops him on Magnum for two.
Kratos hits a vertical suplex that nearly launches Magnum out of the ring. As Kratos keeps working over Magnum, Flyod begs the crowd to quit asking for more. Kratos hits another suplex for Magnum across the ring. Floyd hits Kratos in the back as he preps to charge into Magnu m again, and Kratos brings him in the ring the hard way.
Kratos lifts Magnum and cannonballs into Floyd with Magnum on his back. Kratos covers Magnum and dFloyd breaks it up and then begs off. Magnum chop blocks as Kratos threatened Floyd. Floyd tags in and they work over Kratos in their corner with quick tags. Kratos avoids an elbow drop and tosses Floyd over his shoulder. Odinson gets the hot tag and cleans house.
Kratos shoulder tackles Magnum out of the ring, and then tosses Floyd into the upper cut from Odinson, then lifts him for a leaping uppercut from Odinson for the pin and the win.
Winners: The Immortals
Sam Laterna is with Outlandish Zicky Dice. He says he hasn’t done a promo in a couple of years and then he says he left something of his in the NWA. He didn’t get the championship run he deserves. So, next week he will be in a four way match that will be part of a series to determine the NWA TV Champion.
Pretty Empowered are with Kyle Davis to talk about winning the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championship at NWA 75 and how Kenzie Paige won the NWA World Women’s championship. Kenzie says she loves being called champion, and it’s about how the NWA is entering its’ Pretty Era. Pretty Empowered say they will host a costume contest. Kenzie asks who is up for a title shot, but it doesn’t matter because she is in control.
Rolando Freeman vs Brady Pierce
Former partners fight, and we are told that Brady turned on the Spectaculars at the Austin Idol Battle Royal. Rolando starts by shouting at Bray and he responds by shoves Rolando away. Rolando charges and Brady gorilla presses Rolando, who escapes and then throws hands at Brady.
Brady is able to grab Rolando and goes to power slam him out of the ring and Rolando escapes out the back and tries for a sunset flip. Instead, Brady stomps on him and then power bomb Rolando. He poses and then tosses Rolando across the ring. Rolando gets in a pair of kicks and Brady kicks him down and then starts to ground and pound. He chokes Rolando on the second rope and then tosses Rolando over his shoulders. He then hits a flying elbow from the top for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brady Pierce
Sam Laterna is with Koa Laxamana and Kallies Malia. Koa is asked about his match with Homicide and Joe Alonzo and his partner Coby Corino. He says it spells victory for him. Kallies says Ricky Morton should not be the special referee.
EC3 is with Kyle Davis and he cuts a promo about how he is giving the NWA the perfect ending. He says the Overman Era has begun. He says Tyrus’s career had the perfect ending. And perfect moments begin today. He will defend the title everywhere, including the 4th and 5th dimensions as well as Mars. So, I guess he’s gonna be fighting Elon Musk as well. He says to be the best, he has to defend against the best.
One year ago, he confronted one person, Thom Latimer and next week, he will do so again.
Our Main Event
The Southern Six (‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason, Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) vs The Fixers LLC (Wrecking Ball Legursky, Matt Vine and The Fixer)
Every time Fixer tries to get the crowd to cheer for the Fixers, Legursky shuts him down. Fixer starts with Morton, and Morton ryan wild on him. Fixer gets in a drop kick and Morton starts beating him down again, yelling “You don’t drop kick Kerry Morton!” Fixer gets to his corner and Legursky reluctantly tags in. Morton immediately tags in Taylor. Taylor gets in a cheap shot and Legursky drops him with a clothesline, and then military presses him to the mat.
Silas tags in and he and Legursky charge. They then throw punches, kicks and head butts. Silas dodges a charge by Legursky, gets a belly to back suplex and Legursky tags in Vine. They run the ropes and Vine gets a drop kick that Silas no sells. Silas grabs a side headlock and they go into the ropes where Taylor gets the blind tag. They take down Vine and Taylor starts to ground and pound.
Taylor hits a German suplex for two. Morton tags in and he starts working the arm. Morton is on fire as he drives Vine into the corner and Vine tries to fight his way free. He whips Morton into the ropes and sets too soon, so Morton gets in a kick and then tags in Taylor. Vine gets out of a double atomic drop and knocks Morton and Taylor’s heads together. Vine gets a sling blade and both men are down.
Silas is tagged in and Vine misses tagging Legursky. Silas points at him and says “Tag him in you dumb son of a bitch!” Fixer grabs the tag and hits a missile drop kick that does nothing. Silas knocks the Fixers off the apron, tags in Morton, who finishes the Fixer with a running knee for the pin and the win.
