It is Saturday and AEW Collision Is live at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland OH. Our commentary team is Kevin Kelly and Caprice Coleman.
They brought back the short promos to start the show!
Jon Moxley (AEW International Champion) vs Action Andretti
Jon has brought back the open challenge, and he has an inset promo as he comes to the ring.
They lock up collar and elbow and move to arm bars. Mox goes for a read choke and Andretti back to the corner. They break with Mox laying in a chop. Andretti goes to the floor to regroup. They connect with a greco roman knuckle lock and then break with Mox chopping Andretti in each corner. Andretti leays in chops and Mox asks for more before hitting a front kick, knocking Andretti to the floor.
Mox follows and lays in more blows before Mox tosses him into the ring./ Andretti hits a dive onto Mox and they brawl on the floor. Mox trolls Andretti in the ring again and Andretti meets him with kicks and forearms, a head scissors takeover, and then a drop kick for two. Andretti hits a baseball slide into Mox on the floor and then a moonsault using the top rope. He tosses Mox into the ring for two.
Andretti goes to work on Mox’s leg. Andretti drop kicks Mox, who is sitting on the mat, and covers for two. Andretti then grabs a single leg crab. Mox gets free and Andretti drop kicks the leg he has been working on. Andretti keeps working over the leg. Andretti clotheslines Mox out of the ring, and when he dives, Mox dodges and gets in the ring, and Mox dives onto Andretti himself.
They return to the ring and Mox works over Andretti in the corner. Andretti is able to charge into Mox in the corner, Mox lifts him up and over, and when Andretti tries for a leaping attack, Mox meets it with an uppercut and grabs a cover for two. Andretti lands on his feet after a suplex and lays in blows, but Mox is able to get a sleeper hold. Andretti escapes and gets a drop kick.
The crowd boos him, since Mox is a hometown boy. Andretti is able to get a falcon arrow for two. Andretti goes to the top, but Mox cuts him off and tries for a suplex, but Andretti lands feet first. Andretti gets a shotgun drop kick, and Mox answers with one of his own. Mox charges at Andretti in the corner, but Andretti moves out of the way and hits a tornado splash for two.
Andretti stomps Mox’s head in. Mox reverses it into a bulldog choke, and Andretti goes out.
Winner and still International Champion: Jon Moxley
We then get a video package from Roderick Strong going over his past with Adam Cole, and he says he hasn’t changed, Cole has changed. And while he was always there for Cole, Cole isn’t there for him. He will go on to beat MJF, but he still won’t be happy because he wants his friend back.
Kris Statlander (TBS Champion) vs The Already In the Ring Robyn Renegade
Another open challenge match, and another inset promo.
Statlander takes Robyn down in a front facelock, but Robyn works her way up and stomps on Statlander’s foot. Statlander takes Robyn down again and when Robyn works to her feet, they run the ropes and Statlander gets a drop kick. Robyn tries for a monkey flip, but Statlander catches her and slams her. Statlander gets a series fo elbows and Robyn gets a kick before a two count. Robyn works over Statlander in the ropes, and when the ref is admonishing Robyn, Charlette chokes Statlander. Robyn gets a straightjacket rear chinlock, and then whips Statlander to the corner.
Statlander pops out of the corner and a clothesline followed by a blue thunder bomb, and a two count. As Statlander is yelling at Charlette, Robyn gets a surprise roll up. Robyn goes to the corner and Statlander puts her on her shoulders, slams her down in the middle of the ring. Statlander knocks Charlette off the apron, and then grabs a surprise roll up for the pin and the win.

After the match, the Renegade sisters attack Statlander and who comes out to save her?
Jade Cargill!
Jade takes them out and offers Statlander a hand up before hitting Jaded on her.
Renee Paquette is in the back and asks Saraya and Ruby Soho about Toni Storm. They say she is nuts and while Ruby wants to destroy her, and Saraya says they need to slap some sense back into her. Renee asks her about her upcoming championship match, and Saraya says Renee is much better looking than Lexi , and she will win her match because that's where she debuted for AEW.
Tony Schiavone is having a sit down with Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli. Eddie blames Claudio for leaving him behind and Claudio calmly antagonizes Eddie. Eddie says he will put his title on the line against him. Claudio says he wants Eddie to shake his hand and say he respects him. Claudio says he will lose his title, but he will lose it to someone better than him, and that will never be Eddie Kingston.
Bullet Club Gold: Juice Robinson and the Gunns (Austin and Colton) w/Cardboard Jay White vs Gravity, Aerostar, and Dios Del Inframundo
Aerostar and Dios are making their AEW debut. Juice Robinson gives Kevin Kelly notes on the match
Dios and Austin run the ropes and take each other down as they do so. Dios tags in Aeroistar and he hits a series of kicks before being clotheslined down. Juice tags in and Gravity is tagged in and they kick down Juice as Adntrade El Idolo is watching in the back. They whip juice into the corner and one of the Gunns holds Juice there as the other clothesline Gravity and Aerostar from behind. Juice then leaps onto Gravity and pummels him on the mat as they go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Gravity gets a jawbreaker. Juice tags Colton who tags Austin, and Gravity gets the hot tag to Aerostar, who runs wild. Dios in in after Aerostar gets a pin after a stunner. The tag team siren goes off and everyone is in the ring. Dios gets a leg lariat from Juice and Juice covers for the pin and the win.
Winners: Bullet Club Gold
We then get a video from The Woman With No Name: Miro’s wife, and she says Miro told her she would join him when he had gold. She says she is so torn and may have to walk her own path. She says every fiber of her being is telling her not to leave until she finds out, and while she was the best manager is wrestling, she may have to be that again.
We then get an “ad” from the Dark Order.
We get a backstage promo from The Acclaimed where they are starting their World Tour and put over their upcoming appearances.
Rey Fenix vs The Already In The Ring Angelico
Fenix starts off fast with kicks, a drop kick and a dive, but they brawl on the outside, and Angelico gets in a kick on Fenix. They go to the ring and Fenxi gets in chops. Angelico gets a spinning back breaker. Angelico gets an arm bar on the mat and Fenix kicks his way out and gets up with a kip up. Fenix gets a springboard arm drag and a double stomp followed by a frog splash for two.
They trade waist locks and Angelico gets a rolling leg trap for two. Fenix gets a super kick and goes to the top. Serpentico gets on the apron and Fenix walks the ropes and kicks him down. Fenix then hits a rolling cutter for two. Fenix then hits an over the shoulder based gutbuster for the pin and the win.
Winner: Rey Fenix
In the back, Tony is with FTR. Cash goes over all of the teams they have beaten, so the next question is who is the next team to step up Dax says they should be the main event, and they need more contenders. He says any young tag team wants to step up, the titles are on the line.
Roderick Strong and his neck brace w/The Kingdom vs Darby Allin
Darby is skateboarding to the ring and he is attacked by Luchaasaurus. Christian Cage shows up and says Dabry is going for the world title because he can’t win the TNT title. Cage says he will make sure he never has ANY title, and Luchasaurus takes him out.
Darby struggles to the ring with Nick Wayne helping him.
Darby crawls into the ring and Roddy attacks immediately. He hits a back breaker on Darby and then chops him down in the corner. Darby gets in a series of slaps, and Roddy hits him with a back body drop. Derby hits a dive into Roddy on the floor as we go picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Roddy has been working him over the entire break. They brawl on the outside and Darby hits a splash into Roddy. Roddy then slams Darby's back into the ring post and then whips him into the barricade. Darby is rolled into the ring and Roddy stomps Darby down when he’s not yelling at the crowd. Darby is able to get a guillotine choke in the ropes, and then grabs a rollup for two.
Roddy tries to slam Darby, but Darby turns it into a crucifix for two. Darby gets a Code Red for two. Darby tries to lock his new submission on, and Roddy turns it into a STF. Dabry grabs the rope but Roddy doesn’t break until 4. Roddy puts Darby on top and they struggle for control on top. Roddy is knocked off and then shoves Darby into the ring post on top.
They go back to struggling on typo and Roddy lays in blows to stop Darby. Roddy then hits a sidewalk slam on the top turnbuckle and Darby drops to the floor. Roddy then picks darby up and rolls him into the ring as we go picture in picture again.
When we return to full screen, Darby is coming back, and they fight in the corner. Darby charges and Roddy gets the knees up. Darby gets an over the top stunner on the apron, and then Darby hits a coffin drop from the top onto Roddy on the floor. AR Fox comes to ringside and he and Nick argue at ringside. Roddy gets the Sick Kick and tries for a back breaker, but Darby goes up and over for a reverse stunner.
Both men struggle to get up. Darby is up first. Taven grabs Nick. AR Fox tries to help and instead takes out Nick. Darby tries for the coffin drop and Roddy gets his knees up. Roddy then drops Darby across his knees again for the pin and the win.

After the match, Fox and Nick argue before helping Darby.
We then get a video from Powerhouse Hobbs about how he stood tall with his Book of Hobbs and everyone will fall to the Book of Hobbs.
In the back, Lexi Nair is with Keith Lee, and she asks him about his plans for Collusion. He says individuals avoid him so he IS the Collusion, and his advice to people is Run.
We then get an introduction from The Righteous.
Tony Schiavone is in the ring to talk to Bryan Danielson. He asks Bryan what’s next. He talks about him being Ulysses from The Odyssey. Bryan says he told his daughter that when she is seven, he would start finishing up his career, and she is six now. That being said, he will not going gently into that good night. He says if this is his final year, it will be the most epic year of his career. His next shot is 10/1, Zack Sabre Jr.
Ricky Starks and Big Bill come to the ring and since Bryan is on Collusion and he has to sit in catering again. He says that on Sunday he showed people he will do things Bryan can never ever do. He says he has graduated from being hungry to being greedy and now he’s going to take and take and take.
Bryan says he should have been more patient he approves and he offers a Blackpool Combat Club Shirt to him, and Bill attacks Bryan. Ricky pulls him off, and then he attacks Bryan. Mox runs to the ring and attacks Bill, but Bill gets the upper hand. Starks then chokes out Bryan with the shirt. Storm made the hot tag and looked good cleaning house on King and Jean.
Tony is the back with Big Bill and he says he will beat Mox’s ass for the AEW International Championship. The Lucha Bros show up and say Fenix is next in line for Mox.
It's time for the Main Event
Samoa Joe vs Penta in the Grand Slam Tournament
Jim Ross joins commentary.
They lock up and break immediately. They then shove each other and after Penta does his No Fear bit, Joe shoulder blocks him down. As Joe works Penta over in the corner, Roddy and The Kingdom are watching in the back. Penta is able to get a could of kicks and Joe goes to the outside. Penta tries a baseball slide, and Joe walks away. Penta gets a sling blade and follows up with kicks and strikes. Joe starts to file up and drop him with a head butt, the worst kind of butt there is.
Joe slams Penta into the ring post and they then trade chops.
Joe wins that exchange.
Penta and Alex get out a table. Penta and Joe go back to brawling on the outside. The return to the ring and Joe gets a series of jabs in the corner. Joe then tosses Penta out of the ring and slams him into the steel steps. Joe tears at Penta’s mask before tossing him back int he ring. Joe covers for two.
Joe hits a series of kicks on the kneeling Penta. Penta gets a series of kicks to Joe’s head in the corner. Penta goes to the top and Joe dodges a double stomp and Joe drops him with a back elbow for two. Joe locks on a rear chinlock and Penta works to his feet with elbow strikes. Joe tosses Penta to the corner, and when Penta tries to go up and over, Joe catches him and drops him on the top turnbuckle.
Joe puts a knee in Penta’s back and butterflies the arms. Penta is finally able to work to his feet, but Joe drops him and grabs a two count. Joe charges into Penta in the corner and drops Penta with a leaping kick. Joe sets up for the muscle buster and Penta is able to fight him off and hit a flying cross body and then a back stabber for two.
Penta gets a kick and charges Joe and Joe turns it into a power slam for two. Penta hits an enziguiri and works Joe into the corner, and nails another big kick. Penta covers for two. Penta kicks Joe in the back for two. Penta then tries for a submission, but Joe powers out and hits an inverted atomic drop, followed by a senton for two. Joe charges at Penta, and Penta dodges, causing Joe to go to the outside.
Penta hits a kick from the apron, followed by a somersault dive. Just a reminder, the table hasn't been used yet.
Penta tries another somersault dive, and Joe walks away and Penta goes through the table at ringside. Joe rolls Penta into the ring for two. Penta tries for a slam and Joe locks on the Coquina Clutch, and Penta has to tap out.
