We begin with a look back at highlights from Payback.
Match Number One: Charlotte Flair and Shotzi versus Bayley and Iyo Sky (with Dakota Kai)
Bayley and Flair start things off and Bayley pushes Flair. Flair pushes back and she knocks Iyo down with a forearm on the apron. Charlotte with chops to Bayley and Iyo attacks Flair. Shotzi gets involved with Iyo while Bayley and Flair go to the floor. Bayley is sent into the ringside barrier. Iyo sends Shotzi to the floor and hits an Asai Moonsault onto Flair and Shotzi.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bayley tags in and they hit a double running kick on Shotzi for a near fall. Bayley with an elbow drop to the back. Bayley chokes Shotzi in the ropes. Shotzi backs into the corner and Bayley kicks her. Shotzi with punches but Bayley with a knee and foerarm to the back. Bayley with a rear chin lock. Shotzi reaches for a tag but Bayley stops her. Bayley with an Irish whip but Shotzi with an elbow to Bayley and then to Iyo. Shotzi with an enzuigiri but Bayley stops her. Shotzi with a series of kicks and Iyo and Bayley are unable to stop the tag. Flair with a cross body to Iyo and Bayley. Charlotte with chops to both. Flair with a fallaway slam to Bayley. Flair with a handspring clothesline but Bayley with an inside cradle for a near fall. Charlotte sets for the figure four and applies it. Iyo with Meteora to Charlotte before she can bridge.
Iyo tags in and Bayley puts Charlotte on the turnbuckles. Bayley tags in. Iyo with a Frankensteiner and Bayley goes up top but Asuka shows up behind Dakota ad she takes the title belt. Charlotte with a boot to Bayley to knock her off the turnbuckles. Flair kicks Iyo off the apron and Shotzi with a fisherman's DDT for the three count.
Winners: Charlotte Flair and Shotzi
After the match, Asuka is in the ring and Iyo confronts her. Asuka drops the title belt and Iyo and Asuka have words for each other. Asuka backs up and dances her way out of the ring.
We take a look at the recent issues between Jimmy Uso and AJ Styles.
Paul Heyman is on the phone and Jimmy Uso shows up. He says that last week John Cena said the wrong Uso quit and then Solo said that he leaves the Bloodline only when they say. Jimmy says he is still in the Bloodline and he wants to know the strategy.
Paul says Roman and Solo are not here. Paul says that Jimmy might be in but he isn't IN until Roman says so. Paul tells Jimmy to handle AJ tonight and Paul says he will make sure that the family gets back together.
Paul walks away and he is not in a good mood.
Paul sees AJ Styles talking to a production associate and AJ turns around.
Paul says he was talking about AJ. He asks AJ if he has enough problems in his life before you want to tangle with him.
AJ asks Paul who does he think he is. AJ says Paul has no clout around here.
Jimmy attacks AJ and sends him into a production case.
Jimmy says that he handled the AJ situation.
Paul calls Roman as we go to commercial.
We are back and the announcers wonder what the attack means for the main event.
Bayley, Iyo, and Dakota are ambushed by Kayla and Bayley says that Asuka needs to be careful or she will be put on the shelf like Bianca. Iyo says she is ready for Asuka and that is a challenge.
LA Knight makes his way to the ring and he wants to talk to ya.
He says he doesn't know if people saw Miz' performance on Raw, but it is time to take a look at it. Knight says if he was a complete moron, we would take a look at that adjective but he isn't a moron so it is a verb. He did not come here to play. Knight says he wants to go to the top. One week, you want to play dress up. The next week, you play make believe with a fake John Cena. You whine about how LA Knight won because of John Cena.
Knight says he didn't ask for John Cena and he didn't need John Cena. He says he doesn't need Cena's endorsement. He says he respects John and John did make the three count. You will swallow that bitter pill. If you want to get skunked out again, consider your challenge . . .
interrupted by Grayson Waller's music.
Waller comes out to the stage and he asks if that is a good idea after the Miz ran through John Cena on Raw? It was like Cena wasn't even there. Waller says him and his associate Austin Theory were talking and . . .
Austin Theory comes out to join Waller.
Waller says Austin had one of the biggest victories in Smackdown history over Rey and his stepson Santos. They are the only undefeated tag team on the roster. That makes them the greatest tag team of all time.
Knight says they have to be proud of themselves. They are fan favorites. Knight says he doesn't know why they are telling him. He says you can tell your mommy and then you can tell her that he says hi.
Theory wants to know who was the referee who helped LA Knight win? John Cena, the man that he beat. Theory points out that he has already beaten Knight. Austin points out that he is a two time US Champion at 26. LA, you have been here. Soak in that 15 minutes of fame because Miz won't want anything to do with you when he is done with Knight.
Knight tells them he will show them how to do it. On the right, he has a mush mouth moron. On the left, he has an idiot. If you want to do it in the ring, go ahead. You can get your keister kicked tonight.
Match Number Two: LA Knight versus Austin Theory
Theory with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. They lock up and Theory with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Knight with an uppercut and Knight with a swinging neck breaker. Theory avoids a slam attempt and Theory send Knight into the turnbuckles and he chokes Knight in the corner. Theory with a suplex for a near fall. They block suplex attempts and Knight brings Theory back into the ring. Knight goes to the floor and he send Theory into the announce table a few times. Knight returns to the ring and then goes to the floor. Knight sends Theory back into the ring and Knight with an Irish whip but Theory sends Knight onto the top rope when he send Knight to the apron. Theory with a hanging neck breaker off the apron.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Knight with punches and he misses an enzuigiri but Theory misses an elbow drop. Knight with clotheslines and a side Russian leg sweep. Knight with a DDT and kicks in the corner. Knight with a running hip to the head. Theory gets off Knight's shoulders and Theory with a punch and blockbuster for a near fall. Knight sends Theory over the top rope to the floor and Knight goes for a suplex on the floor but Theory blocks it and Theory with a suplex.
Waller gets up from the announce table and removes the top turnbuckle pad while the referee focuses on Knight and Theory.
They return to the ring and Knight sees what Waller did. Knight lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Knight with a power slam and then he sets for the YEAHple's elbow. Waller gets on the apron again and distracts Knight. Theory with a rollup. The referee tries to fix the turnbuckle when Theory almost hits it. Knight with BFT for the three count.
Winner: LA Knight
After the match, Waller tries to attack Knight from behind but Knight sees him. Waller leaves the ring.
AJ is in the back with Cathy Kelley. She asks him about his condition for his match against Jimmy.
AJ says he is standing and if he is standing, he can fight. Jimmy can attack him from behind as many times as he wants but he will still rip his head off.
