SUKEBAN RELEASES TRAILER OF DEBUTING FACTIONS THIS MONTH IN NYC, MEANING BEHIND NAME OF PROMOTION & MORE

Sukeban, the new Japanese women's wrestling promotion that will debut on 9/21 in NYC released the following video:

Sukeban, which translated into English basically means “boss girl” or “badass girl.”

Dream Slam Productions, LLC, the parent company of the group, filed a ton of trademarks on the term back in March of this year in the following realms:

-Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers provided through streaming, cable television, or satellite; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestlers and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestlers and sports entertainers; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestlers and sports entertainers; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.

-Hats; Pants; Shirts; Shorts; Socks; Bandanas; Shirts and short-sleeved shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.

-Action figure toys; Action figures; Action figures and accessories therefor; Play sets for action figures; Toy action figures; Toy action figures and accessories therefor.

The debut show sold out in just two hours but there is currently a wait list should additional tickets be released at this link.

Ichigo Sayaka (aka Unagi Sayaka) vs. Countess Saori (aka Saori Anou) will headline the 9/21 event.
