9/1 RAMPAGE REPORT

It is Friday and this week, AEW Rampage was recorded after AEW Collision from the NOW Arena in Chicago, IL Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone, Chris Jericho, and Excalibur.

Ring of Honor Tag Team Battle Royal

Best Friends, Aussie Open, Dark Order, The Wingmen, Gates of Agony, Butcher and Blade, Darius Martin and Action Andretti, The Righteous, The Hardys, and Outrunners are the teams,

The winners go against MJF and Adam Cole at All Out.

Aussie Open stay on the floor to start the match.

The outrunners are both eliminated first.

Aussie Open pull people out under the bottom rope and beat them up.

Ryan Nemeth is eliminated, followed by Peter Avalon.

There is a sequence where the Hardys Delete and the Best Friends hug repeatedly, and then everyone attacks both teams.

Kaun is eliminated.

Blade is eliminated.

Toa Leona is eliminated and Aussie Open has entered the ring as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Butcher is eliminated.

Vincent of the Righteous.

The Hardys are eliminated.

Dutch of the Righteous is eliminated.

Andretti is eliminated.

Alex Reynolds is eliminated as is Dante Martin.

We’re down to the Best Friends, Aussie Open and John Silver.

Chuck Taylor is eliminated.

Silver helps Aussie Open attack Beretta, but Fletcher is eliminated.

When Silver is knocked off the apron, Reynolds catches him and carries him to the steel steps, so Silver is NOT eliminated.

Davis and Beretta battle on the apron, and John Silver Eliminates they both.

Winner: John Silver so Dark Order get the match.

Fletcher and Davis attack Jericho at commentary, and Sammy Guevara helps run them off with Jeircho’s bat.

We get a video about Mike Santana, who gained a first name in the time he was gone. He says his father passing filled him with anger and then in Blood and Guts, he got injured and everything he cared about was taken from him. And now he has a story to tell.

Nick Wayne and El Hijo Del Vikingo vs the already in the ring Kip Sabian and Gringo Loco w/Penelope Ford

Gringo and Vikingo start off with hitting a series of flips and arm drags. Nick tags in as does Kip, and they run the ropes with Nick hitting a head scissors takedown followed by a leaping uppercut. Gringo tags in and when Nick tries to run the ropes, Ford gets on the apron to distract him. Using the opportunity, Kip pulls Vikingo off the apron.

Gringo tosses Nick to the floor where he is kicked by Kip Sabian on the apron, and Kip follows with a moonsault onto Nick on the floor. We go to picture in picture where Nick 9si the babyface in peril through the break.

When we return to full screen, Gringo tries for a moonsault, but Nick gets his knees up and Nick is able to get the hot tag. Vikingo hits a series of leaps and kicks to clean house. Vikingo leaps off of the top of the ring post, onto the top ropes for a drop kick into Gringo who is in the far ropes. Impressive and flashy. Vikingo covers for two, broken up by Kip. Nick takes Kip over the top rope to the floor. Gringo and Vikingo fight on the top, and Vikingo hits an avalanche poisonrana from the top.

The tag team siren goes off and everyone is fighting in the ring. Vikingo ends it with a 630 senton from the top for the pin and the win on Gringo.

Winners: Nick Wayne and Vikingo

We then get a QTV segment and Johnny TV is now in charge.

Adam Page vs The Already In The Ring Brian Keith

They go face to face in the middle of the ring, and Keith's gimmick is that he is a Bounty Hunter. They run the ropes after Keith chops Page. Page works over Keith in the corners. Keith gets an elbow up as Page charges into the corner, but Page gets a big clothesline coming out of the corner. They trade blows in the middle of the ring after Page kicks and slaps Keith dismissively. Keith takes down Page with a belly to back suplex.

Page hits an overhead fallaway slam and sets up for the Buckshot. Page plays to the crowd, which allows Kieth to come in with a big boot, and knocks Page to the floor. Page gets on the apron, and Keith hits an insigiri, but Page is able to get the Buckshot lariat for the pin and the win.

Winner: Adam Page

Matt Menard, Angelo Parker and Daniel Garcia are with Renee Paquette and they are going for the AEW Trios championship on Collision, and they are upset they were not at All In.

Roderick Strong is with Renee and his neck brace and says that Adam knows what he did and then tells Renee to ask Adam questions if she is concerned.

Main Event

Anna Jay and Taya Valkyrie vs Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale

Willow and Anna start off. Anna whips Willow into the ropes and Willow comes off with chops. Taya is tagged in and they both try to suplex the other, but neither can so Willow gets a quick rollup for two. Taya hits an elbow strike and willow hits a suplex and charges into Taya in the corner.

Skye is tagged in and hits an elbow strike, a snap mare and then her and Willow get in a kick on Taya. Taya forces Skye into the corner and Willow tags in. Taya shoves Willow into the ropes where Anna kicks her in the back. Taya distracts the ref so that Anna can dodge a blow from Willow and pop her in the face. Taya is able to get a back stabber as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Willow and Taya are throwing hands and kicks in the middle of the ring until both are down. Skye and Anna are tagged in and Skye runs wild. The sequence ends with Skye getting a diving crossbody for two. Skye gets a knee strike for two with Taya breaking it up. Everyone gets a finisher on the next person, with Willow ending it with a pounce on Taya.

Taya is up on Willow’s shoulders and Skye sets up for the Doomsday Machine, but Anna knocks her off the top turnbuckle. Taya escapes and holds Willow, and Anna gets a thrust kick. They set out to do the same to Skye, but Skye dodges and Anna nails Taya. Skye is then able to get the Code Blue for the pin and the win.

Winners: Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue

After the match, Taya attacks Skye, but Willow chases her off.
