During this afternoon's media call to promote Sunday's All Out PPV, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the status of CM Punk for Sunday.
Khan said Punk's status was a great question. He noted they are still "investigating" the incident all All In and right now, although he'd like to comment more, he can't. He said he tries to be honest and upfront with the fans and as soon as he can speak more on it, he will.
When asked during the call whether he will be able to speak on the situation before the PPV so fans will know whether Punk is on the show or not before they purchase the show, Khan said he hoped he'd be able to speak on it by then but did not specifically promise that he would.
Khan declined to on whether he and Punk had words at Wembley Stadium.
There were no questions about Jack Perry.
PWInsider.com is told that there were representatives conducting interviews about the incident at last night's Dynamite taping. No word whether it's the same legal firm as last time.
