About NZ Dojo / Fale Dojo
The NZ Dojo, also known as, Fale Dojo, is a professional wrestling training school based in Auckland, New Zealand. Founded in 2016, we provide world-class training for aspiring wrestlers to pursue full-time careers in the wrestling industry.
As a subsidiary of our parent company New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW); NZ Dojo / Fale Dojo have in place a pathway for students to gain contracts with NJPW where they can launch their careers and wrestle on NJPW tours throughout Japan.
In November 2022, NJPW launched the New Japan Tamashii brand (Tamashii translates to spirit or soul), a territory of NJPW based in Oceania as part of NJPW’s international expansion. Under the leadership of Toks Fale, NJPW star, NZ Dojo / Fale Dojo founder and Head Coach, and New Japan Tamashii Promoter; Tamashii holds regular events throughout New Zealand and Australia that showcase the best wrestlers from the NZ Dojo, and Australasia, with support from some of the top stars from NJPW.
Other events that have taken place include, the inaugural New Japan Tamashii tour in Christchurch, NZ and Sydney, Australia in November 2022, the February 2023, and April 2023 Australian tours. In July of this year, New Japan Tamashii held its first show in Auckland, Lion’s Den. On the horizon are the Lion’s Den 2 events in Auckland on September 2, and the one-night-only event in Sydney on September 15.
All New Japan Tamashii events are available on the NJPW World subscription-based video streaming service.
