Live Notes from AEW All In: London:
So I went with my friend Jon to experience the stadium show opportunity of the year held by AEW.
The show overall was a great experience the crowd was great throughout, changing away and the show did not feel at any point it was boring.
All matches really delivered on the show.
The best match we agreed was FTR Vs. Young Bucks was the match of the night. A really solid match throughout. It was the definition of great wrestling.
Chris Jericho Vs. Will Ospreay was superb another classic match. Will Opsreay is so good and will look forward to more matches of him in future hopefully.
The entrances for the show were well done, Sting and Darby’s was my favourite. Listening to the old sting entrance Metallica was amazing.
AEW overall did a great show!
Thoughts on all matches below:
Aussie Open Vs. Adam Cole and MJF was a crowd pleaser and kept the questions ongoing on when the turn going to happen.
Hook Vs. Jack Perry was a solid match, best match Hook has done. Fans were into Hook.
CM Punk Vs. Samoa Joe was a throwback to the ROH days a bit great chemistry. Joe looked like having fun and the match flowed so well. Fans loved Joe more than Punk.
Kenny Omega 6 man match was really fun just what expect from those lot. Jay White was over big time and Juice Robinson. Felt like a really good tv match. Was a good surprising finish though
Young Bucks Vs. FTR was chemistry to the core. So much chaos of moves and nonstop action. But it was an epic match where it showed just why FTR are the best of the rest.
Stadium Stampede was hard to follow some crazy stuff in that match. So much blood shown on screen and crazy amount of bumps. They all worked hard but lots of people went for breaks in this match. Moxley needs to really get into single feuds again.
The 4 way women’s match was decent best match I’ve seen AEW in a while. Saraya was over big and her entrance was also.
Darby and Sting Vs. Shane Strickland and Christian Cage was well done. Sting for 64 was good in this match, Darby was himself insane as normal. All worked really hard and ending was fun.
Jericho Vs. Ospreay was a great match end to end. Jericho just continues to deliver and Will just is amazing. Was over massively and he is a star.
The Acclaimed Vs. House of Black was fine, bit lost in the shuffle but fans so into The Acclaimed. A crowd pleasing moment with then winning.
MJF Vs Adam Cole was a match that had the crowd in voice it was entertaining. The double pin count sucked to be honest. But they bounced back from it. The finish was the right call on MJF still champ he can lose it next PPV I feel Adam Cole turns on MJF.
It will be different watching it back on TV so will be good to see what it was like watching at home. But the crowd tonight made it a great event and is something that will be hard to top next year when come back.
