ROLLINS VS. BALOR HEADLINES: 8/26 WWE SUPERSHOW RESULTS FROM CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO

WWE held its SuperShow live event tonight at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. I would estimate attendance to be approximately 4,000 fans.

Missouri native McKenzie Mitchell served as ring announcer and host for the evening.

Results were as follows:

- Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn defeated  Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci of Imperium to retain the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship. 

- Zoey Stark defeated Michin, Mia Yim.

- Austin Theory cut a promo on the video tron, talking trash about Cape Girardeau and detailing his plans to regain the WWE United States Championship later in the evening.

- Mustafa Ali came to the ring and issued an open challenge that was accepted by LA Knight. Knight went on to win the contest.

- Cody Rhodes defeated Damain Priest, who was accompanied by Rhea Ripley until she was tossed from ringside by the referee due to outside interference.

- Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya to retain the WWE Women's World Championship.

- Rey Mysterio defeated Austin Theory by disqualification to retain the WWE United States Championship when Grayson Waller interfered. During a two against one situation, Santos Escobar made the save for Mysterio. He then issued a challenge for a tag team bout between the two sides.

- Mysterio & Esobar defeated Theory & Waller in the impromptu tag team bout. 

- In the main event, Seth "Freakin" Rollins defeated Finn Balor in a "Cape Girardeau Street Fight" to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins shared some emotional words in memory of his late colleague Bray Wyatt to end a great night in Cape Girardeau.
