Episode 122
Joe Alonzo and Colby Corino vs Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor
Thrillbilly Silas is made to leave as he is not a manager.
Morton starts with Alonzo, and Morton says he wants Corino. Corino tags in and Morton tags in Taylor. Taylor charges Corino, and Corino grabs a pair of arm drags. Taylor reverses it, and Corino bridges over and kicks Taylor from the bridging position. Taylor tags in Morton, and after Corino pops Morton with a right hook, he tags in Taylor who runs into a back body drop. Corino tags in Alonzo, who goes to the top for a drop onto Taylor’s arm. They trade arm locks and waistlocks until Alonzo gets a drop kick for two.
Taylor drags Alonzo to his corner, and it’s time for him and Morton to keep Alonzo in the ring with quick tags. Taylor is able to dodge a charge in the corner from Morton, gets a cutter off the bottom rope and crawls for the hot tag to Corino. When Morton sees Corino has tagged in, he begs off and tags in Taylor, who takes the crossbody from the top rope by Corino. Corino charges into the corner, right into Taylor and then hits a spinning slam and goes to the top. Corino hits a big elbow from the top for two.
Corino goes to the other side of the ring and brings in Morton the hard way, He works over Morton with chops and a short arm clothesline. Morton charges and they both go to the outside. Taylor goes to the top and Alonzo is able to shove him into the turnbuckle after Taylor misses with a leap. Alonzo then hits a Green Whistle (a fireman’s carry into a slam) for the pin and the win.
Winners: Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor
Talos vs Judias
They both go for choke slams and then lock up collar and elbow. They then throw hands. Judias shoves Talos into the corner and throws hands. Talos reverses, whips Judias into the corner and hits a sidewalk slam. Judias gets a jawbreaker and then drags Talos’s head along the top rope. He then chokes Talos in the ropes for a count of four. Judias hits a series of shoulder thrusts in the corner and chokes Talos on the second rope for a count of four.
Judias goes back to beating on Talos in the corner. Talos is able to whip Judias into the corner, but Judias dodges a splash. Judias goes back to work on Talos. Judias tries for a chokeslam and Talos grabs for one himself. Judias is able to pick up Talos and hits a fallaway slam.
Judias sets up for a power slam on Talos, but Sal the Pal comes to ringside waving a towel. Sal sits on the apron and tosses the towel over the referee’s face. This allows Gaagz the Gimp to hit the rope assisted DDT on Judias, Talos hits a chokeslam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Talos
May Valentine is with Thom Latimer. He says he’s almost at 7 victories as TV champion, and it will stay with him until he cashes it in for the World Championship. He doesn't know who his next opponent is and he doesn’t care. Next week, he and Chris Adonis will be teaming against Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch. He says it will be a hell of a match.
Danny Dealz hosts the DLZ segment.
AJ Cazana and Natalia Markova vs Magic Inc (Magic Jake Dumas & CJ) w/Cody James Mixed Gender Tag Team Match
Markova and CJ start out, and CJ looks confused about it, since Markova was calling to fight Dumas. CJ poses to start with, since her gimmick is she is a magician’s assistant, and Markova grabs a collar and elbow and shoves her down. Markova hits a knee to the face and CJ is down and nearly out. Dumas tags in and Markova lays in chops and hits a cutter for a one count.
Cazana is tagged in and he hits a slam and a series of elbows for two. Cazana gets a rear chinlock and a series of blows for another cover and an immediate kick out. Cazana hits a charge into the corner and clothesline for a two count. Cazana grabs a rear chinlock and Dumas yells at CJ to do something.
And she poses.
Dumas fights to his feet with elbows, comes off the ropes and runs into a back elbow for two. Cazana locks in a bear hug. Dumas fights his way free, but Cazana beats him down with right hands. Cazana grabs a side headlock and CJ tags in. She comes in the ring and does the “ta da!” motion to Cazana. Cazana drops Dumas with a right hand and tags in Markova.
CJ hits Markova from behind, and Markova responds with a brutal forearm. They then trade forearms. CJ gets a codebreaker and Markova reels into the wrong corner. CJ gets a running knee and tags in Dumas. Dumas picks up Markova who escapes out the back and tags in Cazana.
Cazana charges at Dumas, who dodges so that Cazana runs into Markova on the apron. CJ hits an insigiri on Cazana, followed by Dumas hitting a superkick. CJ hits a springboard moonsault off the second rope and Dumas finishes it with a moonsault front he top for the pin and the win.
Winners: Magic Inc
May Valentine is with Eric Jackson, and she asks how his first year in the NWA has been. He says he hasn’t been able to showcase his ability yet. Next week, when he teams up with Fodder, he will show everyone what he is capable of.
Kamille (NWA Women’s World Champion) vs Kylie Paige Non Title Match
They lock up and Kylie is immediately slammed to the mat. Kamille hits a pair of arm drags and keeps an arm bar. Kylie makes it to the ropes for a break. Kylie runs into another arm drag and is slammed for a two count. Kamille hits a Finely roll and charges Kylie, but Kylie dodges the charge and Kamille goes into the ring post. Kylie attacks the shoulder that went into the post, and holds Kamille down on the mat.
Kamille gets to the ropes for a break, and Kylie keeps up the attack. Kylie tries a running drop kick into Kamille, who dodges, causing Kylie to go to the outside. When Kylie gets back in the ring, Kamille hits her with a slam, and then works her over in the corner. Kamille lifts Kylie, runs her into the turnbuckle and then hits a slam for two. Kylie leaps onto Kamille’s back and yells that she will never beat Kenzie Paige. Kamille answers this by taking control and hitting an Alabama slam.
Kamille hits a pair of spears for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kamille
Ella Envy and Roxy come into the ring to help Kylie, and they get a double spear from Kamille for their trouble.
May Valentine is then with Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch, and asks them about their world title opportunity. Trevor says they will dominate and win. She asks Knox which team they want to face. La Rebellion has the best makeup, but Blunt Force Trauma put their hands on Trevor and that cannot go unchecked. Whoever shows up, goes down. They also say their match next week is a way for them to sharpen up, and they will dominate and collect paychecks.
We get a promotional video from Kamille for her match with Natalia Markova at NWA 75.
EC3 and Jordan Clearwater vs Blunt Force Trauma (Damage and Carnage) w/Aron Stevens
Jordan and Carnage start with Carnage grabbing a side headlock. Jordan shoves Carnage into the ropes, and Carnage drops him with a shoulder tackle. Damage is tagged in. They lock up collar and elbow and then Damage is able to get a side headlock. Jordan shoves him off into the ropes and Damage gets a shoulder tackle as well.
EC3 is tagged in and they lock up, collar and elbow, and EC3 gets a side headlock takeover. They work to their feet and Carnage shoots EC3 off into the ropes and he hits a shoulder tackle. EC3 is instructing Jordan that that is how you do it and the announcers put over that Jordan is with EC3 to learn from him.
EC3 goes from a side headlock to an arm bar, and tags in Jordan. Jordan gets a side headlock takeover. They work to their feet and Damage shoves him off into the ropes and Jordan gets a shoulder tackle. Jordan grabs another side headlock and when Damage gets away, he lays him chops. Carnage tags in and the chops continue.
EC3 is tagged in and they drop Carnage with a double shoulder tackle. Carnage shoves EC3 into the ropes and hits a drop kick. He drags EC3 to his corner where he tags in Damage, who goes to work on EC3. They work EC3 over with quick tags. EC3 is finally able to dodge a splash in the corner, and shoves Damage out to the floor to get the hot tag to Jordan.
Jordan takes down Carnage with clotheslines and finally a bulldog followed by a neck breaker for two, broken up by Damage, who EC takes out with the Thesz Press. Carnage attacks Jordan’s eyes, and that allows him to pick up Jordan, Damage comes off the turnbuckles with a double axe handle for the pin and the win.
Winners: Blunt Force Trauma
