WOW - Women of Wrestling Episode 48: The Last Stand

Chainsaw w/Angelica Dante vs Chantilly Chella
Chella goes between Chainsaw’s legs and tires for a sleeper, but Chainsaw backs her into the turnbuckle and then pulls her over the top. She whips Chella across the ring by her hair. Chainsaw grabs a rear chinlock and then hooks the nose. She then fishhooks Chella. Chainsaw chops Chella down.
Chella slowly pulls herself up in the corner, and Chainsaw hits a splash on her, and then whips Chella across the ring. Chella gets a few strikes and an insigiri out of the corner. She gets a running elbow, a running knee and then a snap mare. Chella goes to the top and hits a missile drop kick and covers, but doesn’t even get a one count. Chainsaw catches Chella and hits the chokeslam, followed by a splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Chainsaw
We get a video hyping the main event between Princess Aussie and Vickie Lynn McCoy. They show the story as it has been running through the season as Aussie has been fighting against McCoy’s faction, The Fabulous Four.
Gigi Gianna vs Tiki Chamorro
They lock up collar and elbow and Gigi turns it into an arm bar. She works over Tiki’s arm and Tiki reverses it and whips her into the corner, following with a splash. Tiki gets a snap mare out of the corner, drops the knee and covers for one. Tiki tries a charge into Gigi in the corner and Gigi is able to get a shoulder tackle. She then sets up Tiki on the second turnbuckle and works her over, covering for two.
Gigi gives Tiki a series of knees and then tosses her across the ring. She follows with a straightjacket neckbreaker. Gigi gets a Boston Crag while Tiki is hung up on the second rope. Gigi tosses Tiki into the ropes and Tiki comes off and hits a sunset flip for two.Gigi gets a pair of stomps and then a senton on Tiki for two. Gigi locks in body scissors. She rolls Tiki over for two a few times, and Tiki breaks out of the third.
Tiki and Gigi trade forearms and Tiki moves to clotheslines, followed by a cross body for two. Tiki sends Gigi into the ropes where she is hung up on the second rope. Tiki follows with Tiger Feint Kick. She takes too long to follow up with a splash, and Gigi gets the knees up. Gigi hits an Oklahoma Slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Gigi Gianni
BK Rhythm and Robbie Rocket vs the Mother Truckers (Big Rig Betty and Holly Swag)
This could be a good match, since all of the four people in this match work on the indies.
Robbie and BK attack before the bell and in the ring, Holly quickly takes over on Robbie. Robbie gets a quick tag to BK and BK grabs Holly’s hair, pulling her backward to the mat for two. Robbie tags in and runs across the ring and knocks Betty off the apron. They then work over Holly with quick tags.
Holly finally gets a sunset flip and a side kick before tagging in Betty who cleans house. Betty gets a Russian leg sweep for two, broken up by Robbie. Holly tosses Robbie from the ring and Betty gets the stunner on BK for the pin and the win.
Winners: Mother Truckers
This was a really well worked TV match, and while it was pretty simple, by the numbers stuff, everyone did their part and made it look better than most of the matches on WOW.
We get a promotional video for Princess Aussie and a promo from her that she has had bigger obstacles in her life than Vickie Lynn McCoy, and the title held by Penelope Pink is in her sights.
Princess Aussie vs Vickie Lynn McCoy
Aussie charges to the ring and goes after McCoy. They each go to the outside, and Aussie gets back in the ring and nails McCoy with a kick to keep her from climbing in. Aussie dives onto McCoy and rolls back into the ring. Aussie goes to the second rope and tires a crossbody, but McCoy catches her and hits a fallaway slam. McCoy hits a clothesline and then pulls her up by her hair. McCoy slams Aussie again and starts yelling at her.
Aussie starts to fight out of the corner, but McCoy cuts her off and hits a German suplex. Aussie is able to turn McCoy’s next German Suplex attempt into a cutter. Aussie goes to the top, but Lana Starr, McCoy’s manager tries to attack Aussie, but quits when the ref sees. McCoy grabs Aussie in a firemans’ carry, but Aussie turns it into a crucifix for the pin and the win.
Winner and new Number One Contender: Princess Aussie
